A very warm and welcoming rustic location. Friendly staff.
They welcomed us with bruschetta with wild tomatoes. We ordered/ate: very good appetizers (farmer's cheese, pickles, olives, cold cuts, cheeses, flan and panzanella/fried coccoli) and a truly fragrant, flavorful, and well-topped pizza.
All accompanied by beer (carafe/artisanal bottles), water, coffee, limoncello/amaro, also offered by the staff.
A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent value.
We will definitely be back to try the main courses.
Reservations recommended.
22/12/2025: The location is really lovely and charming. I only had takeout pizza, which was good and had a wide variety of ingredients. The staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. I made a reservation, and they were very punctual and attentive.

07/06/2026: The location is beautiful and the facility has ample and convenient parking, which is definitely a plus. The food is average, nothing special.
Unfortunately, the only real downside is the staff: terrible. We weren't even greeted upon entry, and when it came time to take our order, the waiter acted extremely condescending, continuing to mind his own business and chatting with his colleagues. The constant feeling was that we were being a nuisance.
Terrible. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it due to the truly poor service.

23/06/2026: Beautiful historic restaurant just off Piazza Anfiteatro. Very friendly staff, good, plentiful food, and reasonable prices. Due to a small mix-up over short notice, I was offered dessert and coffee. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: Although it's mostly frequented by foreigners, I didn't feel like a "tourist trap." It's a lovely place; the lamb and pecorino cheese sandwich, with anchovies and dried tomatoes, was delicious!
Recommended!
14/02/2026: Boiled beef was not eatable l, sadly not worth it. Maybe other dishes are nice !

14/05/2026: We ate for two at this quaint little restaurant on a Thursday evening. The pappardelle with wild boar was excellent. The sliced beef was also good, although a little tough. The fig and walnut jam cake was very good. The price was average. Friendly staff. Fast service.

09/07/2026: The setting is beautiful, cool and shady under the trees. The food was absolutely delicious we had pasta and steak. The service is great, really attentive and friendly, brilliant with children. The prices were reasonable as well.

01/07/2026: We ate on their little terrace. They're very helpful. We ordered tomato and arugula salad, maccheroni alla boscaiola, and tordelli al ragu di carne. The maccheroni was our favorite. They gave us complimentary shots of limoncello.

13/09/2025: Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery, and upon entry, the inviting yet unobtrusive smell of grilled meat fills the air. The cellar is well-stocked, and during this time of year, mushrooms galore, beautifully pan-fried and grilled caps.

31/05/2026: It was May 17th, and after a lovely walk, we arrived at Cerù. Forty or fifty years ago, if I remember correctly, it was owned by the same company as the eponymous cured meat factory. It was a restaurant and offered rooms for rent. The current management doesn't rent rooms, and the actual restaurant is closed, but they serve cold dishes and also high-quality frozen products from a renowned Camaiore brand that are heated in the microwave... others do, but don't mention it. The bar has a large panoramic terrace and is an almost obligatory stop for hikers and mountain bikers. I remember we had a selection of hot and cold appetizers, and to follow, I had an excellent eggplant parmigiana... yes, sure, frozen and heated in the microwave, but truly excellent. The service wasn't restaurant-like, but it was friendly, not formal, just right for a bar that also offers food. I wouldn't call the price "cheap," but for the quality, quantity, and location, I'd say it was just right.
I don't give it five stars on principle: the perfect place probably doesn't exist.

10/05/2026: I've been twice, but unfortunately the second time we had to wait more than an hour. The only problem I don't know is that they didn't bother explaining it.
The food was good and unique, though.
It's a shame about the service.

19/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante iniziando con un buon antipasto toscano con del pane buonissimo e in particolare il pane con l'uva passa che non mangiavo da anni.
Per primo piatto mio marito ha preso i tordelli ed anche questi erano eccellenti
La pasta fatta a mano...ed il ragù era buonissimo
Secondo piatto la tagliata cotta in modo impeccabile per i gusti di mio marito
Io ho preso una Margherita veramente buona

Il proprietario è gentilissimo e cordiale mettendo a proprio agio gli avventori. La cucina è tipica ed ottima come il servizio. Ottimo il rapporto prezzo/qualità

25/04/2025: Ci hanno raccomandato questo posto e ci siamo fiondati subito come prima tappa e devo dire che è stato tutto eccezionale dal cibo , in modo particolare la carne e i primi al personale molto professionale e simpatico. Inoltre noi che arrivavamo da lontano ci hanno aspettato per un ora!!
