I migliori ristoranti di cucina cucina toscana in Lucca

20/05/2025: Ho il piacere di fare una recensione da cliente abituale e non legata soltanto alla estemporaneità di un pranzo o di una cena…Perché vengo qua spesso? Perché ritrovo la continuità di una gestione affidabile di lunga tradizione che non cambia nell’arco del tempo. Trovo cordialità , cortesia e velocità nel servizio anche nei momenti di affollamento, e garanzia di qualità del cibo, a cominciare dagli ingredienti, e con una cottura sempre eseguita senza errori al punto giusto . Il menù è rigorosamente di terra, fatta eccezione per il baccalà alla lucchese specialità della casa . Personalmente, alternando regolarmente questa location con quelle “di mare” di Viareggio o Lido di camaiore, Le Meraviglie è diventato il mio posto preferito: giudicando dall’affluenza sia di gente per lo più locale (sempre una garanzia) per pasti singoli o per festeggiare qualsiasi occasione familiare , ma anche di molti stranieri di passaggio, non posso che definirlo un ristorante di successo. Il mix di antipasti vari caldi e freddi della casa è ampio e gustoso… ma se non si vuole esagerare e passare direttamente ai primi piatti c’è ampia scelta….Personalmente la mia preferenza va ai tordelli camaioresi… Mi confesso. “tordello dipendente”: la loro preparazione artigianale abbinata a un ragù fatto a regola d’arte sono secondo me una eccellenza…. Ma non da meno lo sono risotto ai funghi, ravioli e pappardelle al cinghiale per citarne alcuni… ovviamente dipende dai gusti. Tra i secondi la qualità della carne costituisce il valore aggiunto: del filetto alla griglia o talvolta al pepe verde o della tagliata di manzo, notevoli anche per la cottura prescelta che è sempre perfetta … ma il maialino arrosto o lo stinco al forno cotto asciutto e disossato, ed entrambi con contorno di patate arrosto, che poche volte si trovano così buone, sono una validissima alternativa . I funghi? Sono un discorso a parte: in stagione li abbiamo sempre trovati belli di aspetto e saporiti , cosa non facile…, fritti per contorno o con una cappella sul filetto di manzo. Ma fuori stagione il fritto di funghi “Portobello” per chi non li ha mai provati sarà sicuramente una gradevole sorpresa. Alla fine … chi ha spazio ancora per il dessert trova sicuramente di che scegliere. La spesa mi lascia sempre soddisfatto per il rapporto prezzo/qualità assolutamente favorevole e la sicurezza di voler ritornare presto….

04/05/2025: Cena memorabile. Eravamo in 20, abbiamo assaggiato tre primi diversi e due secondi diversi (tra cui uno spettacolare maialino) e ciascuno di noi faceva fatica a decidere cosa gli fosse piaciuto di più. Cucina curatissima e genuina, porzioni generose, accoglienza simpaticissima e rapporto prezzo-qualità perfetto. Bravissimi. Consigliatissimo

13/05/2025: I was in this place in April 2025. I was passing through Lucca and wanted to eat a bit of “Tuscany”: given the many reviews I thought “it will be a commercial place”. Not at all!! Luca was able to carry on the Tuscan tradition with top quality products prepared in a truly authentic way! Small place, which in my opinion is an added value: you can chat if the person at the next table is well-disposed. Welcoming. The staff is truly smiling, helpful, kind! The dishes I had that evening really taste authentic: the raw Tuscan sausage with crispy bruschetta, the Tuscan tripe and the cantucci with vin santo really taste of the love they put into preparing it! Congratulations to Luca and all the staff: you deserve all the many reviews! I would absolutely recommend it!!

30/04/2025: We arrived at 2pm without booking, the very helpful and kind staff made us sit anyway, food, wine and oil were delicious

27/04/2025: We had a very good dinner, with quality food, very fast and truly professional and kind service. Beautiful large, bright and spacious room! Well spaced tables! Dogs are well accepted and, indeed, they are given special attention towards them, which is always very pleasing! Honest prices for the quality of the food and raw materials, without forgetting the impeccable service! Very good meat dishes! We will definitely be back!

02/05/2025: Restaurant with over 250 years of history, still owned by the same family, with very knowledgeable and kind staff. Excellent food, especially traditional Garfagnana and Tuscan cuisine. I recommend the appetizer and leaving room for the dessert, the portions are generous and among the dishes on offer you are spoiled for choice. The furnishings are typical of the area and tell the long history of the place. Too bad it's difficult to find parking.

27/05/2025: Local styled food with very average service and so lala Ambiente at the tables outside. Even the restaurant was not crowded when we were there, the service was very late and not sorted. It’s probably too close to the Central attractions to be authentic.

22/05/2025: Excellent service, it is difficult to find such kind waiters, very nice environment, for the food I can only say average appetizers and average first courses. 5 appetizers 2 first courses 2 bottles of wine and one of water 170 euros…

17/09/2024: Thursday Japanese evening. Excellent uramaki, good chicken ravioli but the flavor of the vegetables dominated that of the meat, chicken with an amazing sauce, very good mix of sashimi including the oyster, meat and vegetarian sandwiches nice to look at but with little filling, very good desserts with generous portions, the Predessert was very popular. Excellent service, the only flaw was being able to order the miso soup almost at the end of the meal because the off-menu items were not communicated to us when ordering. Extensive wine list with excellent labels. Account in line with how much eaten. Beautiful experience, to be repeated.

14/09/2024: The waiter should welcome and serve customers with more empathy, coldness at first glance ruins part of the dinner. Still good food.

15/05/2025: I had dinner with my husband at this restaurant: I had Chianina stew with potatoes. What can I say, the meat was so soft that it could be cut with a fork. A delicacy! My husband chose grilled sausage, which was also good. For those who are in Lucca and are looking for somewhere to eat, I recommend this!

13/05/2025: Came across this lovely restaurant on a rainy evening. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu was in Italian so we needed assistance from a very helpful waitress. Food was very tasty what I imagine Nona's cook for their families, and we hope to return again. Great atmosphere with amazing decor.

13/10/2024: Posto tanquillo e piacevole , personale gentile e disponibile...purtroppo però ci viene servito un tagliere di affettati e un tagliere di formaggii stagionati sicuramente non tipici ma commerciali acquistati in qualsiasi salumeria...non parliamo del conto molto elevato...sconsiglio

22/05/2025: Su consiglio di una commerciante del posto abbiamo prenotato da Leo. Devo dire che mi è piaciuto tutto, l'ambiente il cibo il servizio e il conto. Ma quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stato lo show della proprietaria all'indirizzo dei camerieri assolutamente gratuito.
