30/03/2026: A masterpiece for the eyes and the palate ​A stunning and one-of-a-kind venue: dining surrounded by such spectacular frescoes is a rare experience, not only in Arezzo but throughout Tuscany. The wait staff is exquisitely friendly, always attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. ​The service is extremely prompt, and the cuisine honors local tradition 100%. You can sense a meticulous selection of ingredients: from the excellent cured meats, with honorable mention for the hand-sliced ​​shoulder and fried artichokes, to the first courses, including tagliolini with wild asparagus and truly "out of this world" eggs. The second courses don't disappoint either: the roast rabbit and lamb are incredibly tender and rich in flavor. If I could give more than five stars, I would have done so without hesitation. Highly recommended!

26/03/2026: The only two redeeming features of this place are its name, renowned in Arezzo, and the splendid Art Nouveau interior. Everything else is quite disappointing. If you're not a regular, you're treated like a second-class diner, perhaps even based on your attire. Once you've ordered, the service is quick and attentive, but the real sore point is the quality of the dishes, which doesn't match the prices. Many are passable, a few are decent, and others are very unpresentable. I've attached a photo of the "carciofi pappa" to show you what I mean.

03/04/2026: This is our third time here, and like every time, the experience is wonderful. The food was divine. The Florentine steak was exceptional, as always. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality. We can't wait to return.

02/04/2026: I was there a couple of years ago, and while everything has remained the same, I have to say it's a small but fantastic corner of paradise. The food is DIVINE, absolutely authentic, and the owners are friendly and kind. I hope to return and find everything the same as it was back then!!!

20/03/2026: This is the kind of place you'd hope to find on your travels, authentic, showcasing local recipes and ingredients. The place is welcoming, but especially the owners. I enjoyed excellent Tuscan crostini and a mouth-watering pappardelle with wood pigeon. My wife, on the other hand, had veal cheek and sautéed vegetables, and she was equally satisfied.

Pappardelle from Esselunga reheated in the microwave, polenta off the menu was dry, rabbit was dry and throwing it against the wall would have damaged the place, rubbery ribs and beans thrown from the can onto the plate, dirty bathrooms, especially the women's one!! What can I say? Terrible dinner... totally disappointed.

16/10/2025: A restaurant just a minute away from the central piazza serving you a flow of bites that gradually become bigger. The top floor has one communal table that sits 20, while downstairs is a bit more personal. The food is innovative yet local, I suspect the menu comes together for every evening just before the service. The staff is friendly and at the end of the meal it feels like you're living in the town.

02/04/2026: Florentine trattoria. Excellent first courses like the pici cacio e pepe and the ravioli, but less so the second courses like the meat roll stuffed with artichokes. The pear and chocolate cake is a must-try.

07/03/2026: Want to truly experience the Arezzo and Tuscan traditions, where history and culinary culture blend? An absolute must-see! A true family-run business. Since 1905, when my great-grandparents opened, they've still been working there: an 85-year-old father, mother, and children. A rare gem, perhaps the secret to a place where you can rediscover flavors I thought were lost. Traditional dishes are tasty and delicate. Ravioli with fondue and truffle and Ravioli alla Norcina are balanced and light, truly delicious. The Braised Beef in Barolo moved me to tears, it literally melts in my mouth. Chocolate and pear cake (they even book just for that! Just saying...) and cantucci with Vin Santo. Lots of substance, without any fuss. EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH An incredible experience. Arezzo is also beautiful thanks to people like you.

10/10/2025: A delightful place and a top-notch venue! When we're in the area, a stop is a must. The schiacciate, the various large plates, the desserts are excellent... in short, everything is fantastic, just like the people who work there, who are super friendly, kind, and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. I could write an essay with endless praise. We returned in August 2025, and unfortunately the service has changed (self-service), but the staff and the quality of the products served are still excellent.
