A place I stumbled upon by chance, while in Ambra for work, and found a welcoming, friendly atmosphere with excellent Tuscan food. I felt at home. Leonardo is a kind person who loves his demanding but satisfying work. The first evening was a pleasure getting to know him and everyone who works with him. The second evening (because where you feel good, you return) was like being at home, with family, among friends. And I, thank you all, return to Genoa with fond memories of wonderful people and excellent food! Leonardo clearly loves making the people who stop by his osteria feel at home, but beyond him, there's his wife Valeria in the kitchen, preparing authentic dishes with love, and the girls who work with them are knowledgeable and welcoming, always smiling. 12/04/2026: A sure thing My sixtieth birthday celebration, like every other time, the table was for twenty of us. We know the location; we hadn't been back in a while, but I had no hesitation in booking it. The owner is lovely, smiling, and helpful, with a passion for cooking and the dishes she offers. We didn't know what the menu had prepared, but we trusted it implicitly. The girl serving was very friendly and charming. She started with a series of appetizers: cecina with eggplant pâté on top, basil and ricotta tart with basil wafer and Sicilian cherry tomato cream, a basket of puntarelle and anchovies, crostini with cheese fondue, cured meat, and pink egg, a crispy oven-baked pappa al pomodoro, chocolate bread with chicken galantine and radicchio, the classic black crostini with vin santo, and puff pastry fingers with a gorgonzola cream to start, accompanied by prosecco. I also brought a magnum of Spatlese Riesling from the Mosel. To continue the lunch, we decide to order some Cortona Syrah, wild asparagus risotto, and artichoke-filled ravioli with a borage and nettle dressing. Then we move on to the main courses: mouth-watering Gran pezzo alla moschea alla moschea with mustard and roast potatoes, beer-baked pork chops with excellent zucchini, and to finish the main courses, baked guinea fowl on a bed of lettuce and stewed carrots. Everything was delicious. For dessert, the birthday boy was a shortcrust pastry cake with cooked custard, Portuguese milk, and biscuits so good I can still taste them in my mouth, all washed down with a glass of Moscato di Asti. What can I say? For me, this is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. The bread and pasta are all made by the owner, the chef. The beauty of this restaurant is that you eat seasonal products available at that time of year, prepared with skill and intelligence. It's so great, you'll want to return every season. The price is very fair for the quality.

10/04/2026: I've been to this Italian no-menu restaurant four times already, and each time the menu is different and full of surprises! There were six appetizers alone, two main courses, two second courses, and two desserts—absolutely delicious! All the ingredients are created by the Italian owner himself, making them incredibly tasty. I've been here more than eight times, and each time the menu is different and full of surprises.

10/05/2026: The remedy for the mistake (which can happen to anyone) is worth the 5 stars. There were 6 of us; we ordered appetizers and 1.300 kg of steak. The appetizers were delicious, the tartare excellent, and the house wine excellent. They presented us with the steak cuts, and they were wonderful. The order was rare, but unfortunately, the meat arrived very well done. When we pointed this out, the owner immediately said she would remake it. Out of respect for the food, we thanked them, but we didn't want to throw away any meat. The surprise came with the bill. We would have spent €230 for 6 of us, but they took €100 off our bill—basically the steaks—so we paid €130 in total. It was a great gesture. We will definitely be back.

16/05/2026: We were returning from Tuscany and stopped in Arezzo for a break. We had lunch at this elegant and refined restaurant, but the best part was the food. Elaborate dishes that are a pleasure for the palate and the eye, and the service was very friendly. The chef's welcome, the sweet treat while waiting for dessert, and the biscuits with coffee...a real treat...recommended! Sabrina and Mauro

03/05/2026: We tried it on the recommendation of a friend, and we really enjoyed it. The place is quaint, and despite the many tourists, the flavors are authentic, and the prices and dishes aren't touristy. The food is really good at a reasonable price. I recommend the fried artichokes, the red sauces for the first courses, and the tiramisu is also good.

Very good food and a wide selection of food, wine, desserts.... I've recommended it to several friends. I think I'll come back again and stay a week because the village is enchanting. Lots to see.

19/05/2026: If you're coming from Spain, don't even think about eating here. It's a failed restaurant, only good for American tourists who fall for this rip-off. The food is unremarkable, but the service is appalling: 40 minutes for the menu, 60 minutes for the wine, then your partner eats dinner before you do, and the waitresses just stand there idly. In short, a real gem. I hope you don't fall into temptation.

15/05/2026: Romano, one of the few restaurateurs who pampers you as if you were at home! Romano's cuisine is an art, with dishes studied down to the last detail that highlight traditional flavors and excellent quality ingredients, from the cold cuts (offered by Romano) to the tagliolini with truffle, the stewed beef cheek, and the dessert (what I ordered). The only real difficulty is choosing! I'm not a wine expert, but Romano recommended an exceptional wine, definitely above average compared to what you'll find elsewhere. The prices are fair for the service, the location, and the host's friendliness. If you're in Umbria, you can't miss it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

07/05/2026: Nice little restaurant in the center of Arezzo. Good, tasty traditional cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast service. Pici all'agliona, rabbit in porchetta, pan-fried cooked vegetables, chickpeas in oil and rosemary, sausages, ribollita, and Chianti d'Arezzo wine. My daughter and I, while visiting Arezzo, had lunch and dinner at Il Saraceno. Highly recommended! I returned to Arezzo with my husband and had lunch at Il Saraceno. I always order rabbit in porchetta with pan-fried vegetables; my husband has tagliatelle with hare sauce, mixed salad, good wine, biscotti, and Vin Santo. Whenever I get a chance to return to Arezzo, I absolutely have to stop at Il Saraceno. The staff is very friendly and fast.

Unique atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a truly rare family atmosphere. It's a place where you immediately feel at home, surrounded by warmth and courtesy. Extensive menu. The selection is truly wide, capable of satisfying every craving. Excellent quality. The dishes we chose were simply exquisite. Excellent raw materials and authentic flavors that linger. Affordable prices. Excellent value. In short... We highly recommend it to anyone in Arezzo. We've already decided that every time we're in the area, we'll be returning here.
