27/01/2026: I was on holiday from England amd my friend took me to Pane e Vino. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Creative dishes such as poached egg in a cheesey sace covered in fresh white truffle as well as classics like antipasti and panna cotta. Lovely knowledgeable owner who spoke great English. Thank you guys

17/12/2025: Let me start by saying they're right, they won a 4 Ristoranti award. It was a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was full: but I really can't explain both of these things. In no particular order: - the welcome drink with pumpkin cream tasted like a freeze-dried bag. - the "journey of tradition" appetizer, €20, was too varied, a compilation of cold and savory '70s-style tarts + cured meats, all carefully crafted only in appearance. The only thing missing was a vol-au-vent with pink sauce and shrimp. - linguine with lobster, €30, not bad, but the sauce was too thick, it tasted like cornstarch. - Umbrina (€32): 2 parallelepipeds of fish killed by a very strange cooking method, dry and hard on the outside, placed on a scrap of toasted bread and covered in crumbled chips (the kind used for appetizers). - Duck breast with orange sauce arrived cold, accompanied by a mini polenta that would have bounced around the room for minutes if you tossed it, pieces of pumpkin cold from the refrigerator, and some orange peel. Ordered barley coffee, which arrived as expected.

16/12/2025: Dining here was a sensory experience, complemented by the kindness of the wait staff, including my namesake, the owner, who made the dinner extremely enjoyable. The traditional Tuscan dishes were excellent, elegantly served, flavorful, and in just the right quantities. All this with a view of Arezzo's main square.

12/11/2025: Beautiful and welcoming place, quiet and silent, a good appetizer (pieve) with cold cuts, crostini and a polenta cake and a grilled fillet, I must say good and well cooked, only water for 55 euros per person, I find the bill a bit high.

26/12/2025: I had dinner here with my boyfriend, and we both ordered the set menu (for €30, a Tuscan appetizer, maltagliati with Cinta Senese ragù, and tagliata with potatoes). Everything was truly excellent: the generous appetizer, the delicious maltagliati, the exquisite tagliata, and the very flavorful potatoes. The service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

Pappardelle from Esselunga reheated in the microwave, polenta off the menu was dry, rabbit was dry and throwing it against the wall would have damaged the place, rubbery ribs and beans thrown from the can onto the plate, dirty bathrooms, especially the women's one!! What can I say? Terrible dinner... totally disappointed.

16/10/2025: A restaurant just a minute away from the central piazza serving you a flow of bites that gradually become bigger. The top floor has one communal table that sits 20, while downstairs is a bit more personal. The food is innovative yet local, I suspect the menu comes together for every evening just before the service. The staff is friendly and at the end of the meal it feels like you're living in the town.

06/09/2025: It's not to be described, but to be tried. Frankly, 5S isn't enough, but it can't be more. The appetizer was a selection of samples, many samples, truly a riot of flavors. The porcini mushroom risotto was sublime, and the meat was fantastic. But I repeat, it's worth trying. Finally, they have a selection of high-end wines.

03/02/2026: We showed up unannounced, and they still made room for us, which is a good thing. We tasted a very tasty braised cheek dish; I said tasted because in our area they usually serve a whole cheek (which isn't much), while here they only serve three slices. This isn't meant to be controversial, but rather to clarify, as it's the restaurant that decides how to portion the steak. I come to the sore point: the sliced ​​steak. Unfortunately, it wasn't undercooked, but rather, it was so chewy it was difficult to cut even with a knife. In my humble opinion, it had been portioned against the grain when cut, making it so tough (as nature teaches us). I didn't feel like sending it back sooner because it was getting late and I was so hungry, with my teeth, I didn't bother... but the fact remains. I only mentioned this to the young, very kind, and apologetic waitress, who insisted on reporting it to the kitchen, but at my insistent request, I told her to keep it for herself, obviously for the reasons mentioned above. Personally, I think the tagliata could have been presented with some vegetables or, at least, accompanied by… The location is a bit cramped but nice, and the winery, both local and otherwise, is excellent.

04/01/2026: We just left this lovely restaurant with our one-and-a-half-year-old baby and we're really satisfied. We had a mixed antipasto with cured meats, crostini, and ricotta, all delicious. Next, a fantastic chickpea soup and an excellent tagliata, with cannellini beans and a vegetable flan as a side. We drank water and a nice house Chianti, and finished with a delicious tiramisu and a pandoro with Chantilly cream. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional, and the price was very fair. Thank you so much!

21/11/2025: We were there for a food demonstration, and chef Matto was very friendly and helpful. Did not get to experience the full dinning experience as we were just part of the demonstration. We were well taken care of however due to other events going on it felt rushed.

10/10/2025: A delightful place and a top-notch venue! When we're in the area, a stop is a must. The schiacciate, the various large plates, the desserts are excellent... in short, everything is fantastic, just like the people who work there, who are super friendly, kind, and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. I could write an essay with endless praise. We returned in August 2025, and unfortunately the service has changed (self-service), but the staff and the quality of the products served are still excellent.
