02/07/2026: Amazing food and the Owner & Chef is the nicest person. He spent 7 years working in a 2 Michelin star restaurant and you can really taste and see culinary training. He speaks fluent English and is super friendly. Chef’s goal was to present his grandmother’s recipes but in a more elevated way-he truly succeeded.
The tuna we had was super tasty and a crowd favorite. This is the place to go if one wants a taste of true local Italian cooking.
Anyone visiting Tuscany should definitely come here and give this place a try.
07/05/2026: We can't say enough about Ambrosia. This was our second visit to Cortona and our second visit to Ambrosia. Each time the food and service were fantastic. The owner/chef greeted us and spoke with us about the dishes he prepared. We tried the six course chef's dinner and it was fantastic (and we love good food). Highly recommend.

04/08/2026: Unique experience. We spent a fabulous weekend with all the comforts and peace. Excellent cleanliness. Hot tub with temperature regulator for bathing at night under the moon. Wonderful service. Very clean houses and everything in working order. Place surrounded by greenery and well-kept. We ate at the restaurant one evening. Everything was good. I recommend it and we will be back.

26/06/2026: After two days of fantastic food and spectacular service, we arrived to celebrate my husband's birthday, and neither the food nor the service was any better. What a shame! I won't be back and I don't recommend it. They were eager for us to leave and didn't even offer us coffee.

16/08/2026: Disappointing trattoria. A mistake with the dish (it happens), but unfortunately, it was poorly timed given an allergy that had been explicitly stated. Beyond the perfunctory and superficial apologies, laughter, and a dismissive attitude towards their error, which had consequences, the response was far too casual. Definitely not recommended! Add to that the carpaccio, which tasted like it came from the subway, and the overall experience was rather bland. The house wine wasn't even served by the quarter-liter. In short, disappointing. No, this is not an authentic trattoria; the service was quite disrespectful. Avoid it. A disappointing experience.

16/05/2026: We were returning from Tuscany and stopped in Arezzo for a break. We had lunch at this elegant and refined restaurant, but the best part was the food. Elaborate dishes that are a pleasure for the palate and the eye, and the service was very friendly. The chef's welcome, the sweet treat while waiting for dessert, and the biscuits with coffee...a real treat...recommended!

03/06/2026: We went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The location is beautiful, immersed in the typical Tuscan landscape with hills, olive trees, vineyards, and plenty of greenery.
The restaurant reserved a room for us that connects to the garden and adjacent lawn, where there are even round bales of hay for photos.
The lunch was excellent, and all the staff were very kind and helpful, accommodating all our requests. (We left them a tip.) We also had a gazebo where we danced and played with all our friends. It was beautiful, we'll definitely be back; a friend of ours has booked for his 50th wedding anniversary. Thanks to Mr. Patrizio and his wife, who were truly wonderful hosts.
27/03/2026: Enchanting place. Not to mention the food... idyllic, I've never tasted more delicious dishes. And the staff was kind and cheerful. Highly recommended.

12/08/2026: Typical Tuscan atmosphere that never settles! Excellent food and service. The pici all'aglione were amazing, and the wild boar ones were also excellent. If you're passing through Arezzo, you can't miss this place. Highly recommended.
11/08/2026: The atmosphere and service were fine, but... Unfortunately, the bone-in beef steak, which was supposed to be medium rare, turned out to be a disaster. The meat was stale and smelled... Definitely a mistake.
