22/02/2026: I went despite reading many negative reviews, but instead I found the restaurant immersed in the tranquility of a large, stunning park, and a unique historical location, although obviously with some parts that could use some updating (as is the case with all historic buildings). Service was quick despite the restaurant being full. Both the fixed-price menu and the à la carte menu offered good traditional Tuscan dishes. We were fortunate to also find the castle open to the public, with a guided tour led by Amos, a friendly expert and a talented writer who passionately shared the castle's history with visitors. Thank you for a wonderful day.

31/07/2025: Visitamos este encantador restaurante el día después de nuestra boda. Éramos dos parejas con nuestros bebés pequeños. La comida que pedimos era preciosa, el personal era brillante y todo el entorno era hermoso. Lamentablemente, nuestra cena fue arruinada por la mesa de al lado que parecía pensar que los niños deberían ser vistos y no escuchados. Cuando esta mesa nos dijo que lleváramos a nuestros bebés afuera porque eran fuertes (NO llorando solo haciendo ruidos que no eran más fuertes que ese grupo de personas) el gerente trató con esto excepcionalmente. Solo quería decir que estamos tan agradecidos con la forma en que usted y su personal trataron este asunto, que es un crédito para su restaurante. Y si la gente que estaba a nuestro lado está leyendo esto, entonces recuerde que puede elegir vivir una vida sin hijos, pero no puede vivir en un mundo sin hijos.

30/07/2025: Restaurant mit schöner Atmosphäre, aufgeteilt in verschiedene Räume in einem Kellergewölbe, ansprechend dekoriert und beleuchtet. Zuvorkommender Service, Speisen sehr lecker.

24/12/2025: The food is good but the service is slow, it is not well organised and you have to wait a long time. The environment is small and there are many tables, which results in a lot of noise and confusion.

05/02/2026: We visited this restaurant in June 2025. Today, months later, it came back to our mind while we were in the car, it’s one of those places you remember. We realized we should have left a review. We arrived on a very hot day, hungry after exploring the region, and decided to trust the owner for a recommendation. He was incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what he does, so we let him bring his specialties. It was the best decision! The food was outstanding, featuring high-quality ingredients prepared with genuine care. The fresh salad, the perfectly marinated meat, and the delicious ravioli were all a delight. Honestly, one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We’d love to come back if we are ever in the area again!

25/12/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant today, December 25th, for Christmas lunch, and unfortunately, it was a truly disappointing experience. The appetizer, presented as Tuscan, had nothing in common with Tuscan cuisine, neither in flavor nor quality. Everything was bland and poorly prepared. The first course was tagliatelle with meat sauce. I must say the meat sauce was good, but the tagliatelle were clearly store-bought and, to top it off, raw. The same goes for the truffle gnocco, which was also clearly not homemade. Those who chose the ravioli found themselves with an undercooked dish, unpleasant to eat, and truly unsuccessful. The second courses were perhaps even worse. The roast duck and rabbit arrived cold and very dry, difficult to eat and not at all inviting. The roast potatoes were also cold. We then ordered a tagliata that was so thin it resembled roast beef. We'd asked for one with pepper and one with truffle, but the waiter was confused and didn't remember our orders, ending up bringing us a slice of steak identical to the one served at all the other tables. The lunch was incredibly long, with excruciating waits between courses, probably in an attempt to serve all the tables at once. This made the experience even more burdensome and unpleasant. The service was lacking throughout the meal. The dessert was truly embarrassing. A pandoro accompanied by a cream that looked and felt like scrambled eggs, tasted bland, and had colorful sugary pearls that didn't add anything. The coffee wasn't up to par either. Considering the price, the food was very poor, and there was very little attention paid to the customers. Christmas lunch should be a special and enjoyable occasion, not a disappointment like this. I definitely won't be returning, nor do I recommend it.

20/12/2025: A family-run restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. In summer, you can enjoy the large terrace with a spectacular view of Arezzo. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven, very easy to digest and generously topped. The meat is delicious and grilled. The first courses and other classic dishes are delicious. The service is impeccable and very helpful. The prices are low. The bathrooms are very large.

25/02/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful and super welcoming, and the food is excellent: you can choose from a variety of dishes, and the menu is truly extensive. The background music makes everything more pleasant and even fun. The waitresses are very helpful and kind, welcoming us with great courtesy, and even the little dogs were a joy!! The prices are fair, and the location is perfect. We'll definitely be back, a well-deserved 5 stars!

24/02/2026: The food was good, and the background music was 5-star. Unfortunately, the presence of the dog, which was passed from the owner's hands to those of the waitress and then into the kitchen, is definitely something the restaurant could really do without. Furthermore, the prices are very high, and an incorrect item was included on the bill, which we only noticed later.

05/01/2026: A positive experience for our Christmas 2025 lunch, good value for money. The tortellini in broth were excellent, as were the mezze maniche with ragù. The tender duck breast was unique and truly delicious, and the roast meat was varied in both quality and quantity.

01/11/2025: Chose based on reviews, but were very disappointed. The appetizer for two was very disappointing. The staff was cold and uninformed about the dishes! Quiet place.

23/02/2026: We decided to spend Valentine's Day at this trattoria, which gave us a rustic, slightly "old-fashioned" feel. The only things that were old were the photos on the walls, stuff piled up in every corner, an incredible mess, furniture everywhere, barely enough to pass through in the hallway. The service was embarrassing: a poor Pakistani or Indian guy running around throwing plates on the tables. The kitchen is in a well, staffed entirely by foreign chefs. The antipasto della vigna was a tiny plate, nothing like the typical Arezzo platters. The pollo al mattone was charred, the pici with wild boar sauce was passable. The meat storage conditions need a thorough health and hygiene check...

22/02/2026: After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to book a lunch at this restaurant. It's a nice, traditional trattoria, and the open-view brazier cooking right in the dining room is very interesting. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations: the appetizers and first courses were good but nothing special, while the mixed grill was dry, burned to the point of being bitter, with several pieces of meat that were inedible (probably pre-cooked and reheated since the waiter was delivering it to us before the first courses). It's a shame... the fillet, however, was excellent. The waiter was very kind and helpful. Overall, I wouldn't return.

02/03/2026: Even today this was one of most memorable 3 hour lunch we've ever had. Was a rainy day so perfect for enjoying the wonderful owners hospitality.

11/10/2025: A very nice experience, the owner was cooking the meat over a wood fire in the large fireplace when we arrived, the bottle of red wine was already on the table and the service was very friendly! We left feeling full!

08/10/2025: Rural atmosphere, owner with a biting but engaging personality (not for everyone) Peasant cuisine can express something more: I would emphasize the homemade tagliatelle made with excellent quality flour over the industrial pasta found everywhere. Very good meat, amazing potatoes. I would replace the bagged salad with vegetables from the beautiful surrounding garden. A round of applause for the genuinely empathetic waiters.

17/02/2026: Both the food and the hospitality were excellent. The place is quaint. Perhaps the only flaw is the somewhat slow service.

09/02/2026: The saffron and pear risotto was excellent, as was the Caprese i Gobbi. The pasta and potatoes with seafood were also exceptional.
