06/05/2026: A small trattoria away from the tourist crowds, offering traditional Tuscan cuisine. The ingredients are excellent and the portions are generous. The service is fast and friendly, making you feel right at home. Excellent value. We'll definitely return for our next trip to Florence!

09/06/2026: Not great. Food was average, ordered a margherita pizza and it was basically a regular pizza with a ton of cheese on top, like a 4 cheese type of pizza. I’d make a better one at home. Service was quite bad too, asked for the possibility of a small side salad and were served a big salad from the menu (15 euros), we didn’t eat it and they accepted to take it back. Then 2 times they got tables wrong for the orders and brought us things we didn’t order, which is ok but .. 2 times.. so all in all would not recommend.

06/06/2026: Great atmosphere, tables in quiet street or large beautiful dining room. Our server was fantastic, good sense of humour, understood English too. Portions very big, not overly fancy presentation but very good home cooked food. Good wine selection and reasonable prices, we would definitely go back.

08/06/2026: A fantastic Italian osteria that has won my culinary heart! The cuisine is simply brilliant, full of the authentic flavors of sunny Italy. Each dish is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which you can taste from the first bite. The pizza was a real hit – it's truly large, with a perfectly thin, crispy crust and a generous amount of delicious toppings. We ordered the house wine to accompany the exquisite food. The wine was a hit: light, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, it perfectly complemented the entire meal. I highly recommend trying the house products! The prices are a huge plus. It's incredibly affordable considering the excellent, prestigious location and the truly hearty, filling portions. It's rare to find such excellent value for money in such a privileged part of the city. The finale of the feast, coffee and desserts, also deserves praise. The aromatic espresso was the icing on the cake, and the creamy tiramisu and fluffy panna cotta were simply delicious, not too sweet and perfectly fresh. The atmosphere at the osteria is incredibly cozy, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and very helpful. It's the perfect place for both a romantic dinner and lunch with friends. I'll definitely be returning here regularly. A wonderful place, I highly recommend it to everyone!

15/05/2026: If you are anywhere near Montalcino, you absolutely have to eat here. Dining at Mastrojanni was a highlight of our culinary trip. The food is incredible, especially the terrina di cinta senese, which was absolutely delicious. Of course, you cannot miss the homemade desserts by Chef Tommaso..they were the perfect. Being Mastrojanni, the wine is obviously world-class, but what truly made the night special was the hospitality. The staff took such amazing care of us, guiding us through the wine pairings with so much passion. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy.

15/05/2026: I dined at Relais Mastrojanni for the first time with some friends. The place is truly beautiful and elegant, completely renovated just outside the walls of Castelnuovo dell'Abate. The road leading there, certainly unconventional because it's dirt (a UNESCO protected area), makes the view of the Montalcino vineyards and the Abbey of Sant'Antimo even more immersive. The weather prevented us from dining on the delightful terrace, which, however, promises truly magical moments in the coming summer evenings. The maitre d' and the restaurant manager are two young people who made us feel at ease, immediately understanding the informal approach we would appreciate. The menu is well-curated with interesting offerings, including creative and successful reinterpretations of traditional dishes. The desserts are also unique and highly appreciated. The wine list is comprehensive and offers a variety of vintages, including interesting local labels. We gave it a full thumbs up, and we will definitely return, perhaps even for a short stay.

25/04/2026: Of all the restaurants I visited during my stay in Italy, this was one of the best. The entrance was a little hard to find, as it looked like a private house, and it took a bit of courage to ring the doorbell! We ordered the Tasting Menu for two people. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and it was incredibly good value at €40 including dessert and the final coffee! If you don't know what to order, this is the only choice I would recommend. There was no table charge or service fee, and even water was only €2. Everything was wonderful. It's a fantastic restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance!

15/03/2026: Very welcoming place. The first courses were good (not exceptionally good), including the wild boar pici, the truffle pici, and the tagliatelle with tomato sauce. The large platter was just adequate. Prices are in line with the location. Definitely recommended, but room for improvement.

05/03/2026: Our intuition led us to this village, which seemed to beckon from the road, inviting us to climb up and explore it. It seemed even more special when we saw it, and the Osenna cantina (Omar) was truly special. The young man who served us was a wonderful person, and the places and people there made our visit even more memorable. Without a doubt, it was an extraordinary experience, and I'll take away wonderful memories.

05/04/2026: Mouth-watering Florentine cuisine! It's a regular stop for us because the quality of the dishes is unparalleled. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Spending Easter here was the best choice: incredible dishes and a rejuvenating experience. If you're looking for the authentic taste of Florence, you've come to the right place!
