Everything was excellent and the service was impeccable
Very nice atmosphere and very kind staff.
I only have 2 notes. there were 3 of us and we ordered 1.5kg of Florentine steak. it is usually shown at the pre-cooking table. this time it was brought to us whole while cooking. It's a detail that would be missed but it was curious. and returned to the kitchen to cut. but once we returned to the table, we managed to get 4 slices counted each. fabulous meat I have nothing to say (among other things we chose the sakura yoza which in my opinion was very good). but those 4 slices will have been a MAXIMUM of 150g each. absolutely no more. even admitting that 3 of us ate 500g (and if we want to exaggerate, 600g to stay very generous and optimistic) I would say that 900g/1kg of bone is definitely a lot. It seemed objectively strange to all the guests and it was my concern to point it out to the staff, with confidentiality and elegance. so much so that we had to reorder other second courses of meat (this time some cuts, to give an idea of how hungry we were). and the tagliatelle dish in terms of quantity was twice what we had eaten previously. so there was definitely an error. and amen. but on certain courses it would be appropriate not to do them.
I always end with the same course, served with potato chips. oh yes, such a high quality Florentine steak served with real potato chips that were obviously impossible to pick up with a fork. practically almost identical to the ones in the envelope to give an idea of what they were like. here too, I underline good, but a really bad choice. you can offer the classic fried or baked ones, but not stick fried ones which are really uncomfortable and not within the reach of a Florentine. the service, I repeat, was excellent. We stopped for lunch with friends. We enjoyed excellent beef meatballs with cheese and pepper as an appetizer, and the classic Milanese cutlet for a second course, which was good. All accompanied by an excellent Valpolicella Ripasso. Cake, coffee and coffee killer. Advised.

L’Uccellina è un posto storico di Milano, in piazzale Baracca. L’ambiente è un po’ retro ma accogliente. Ottima carta vini con delle belle etichette. Ahimè peccato per il cibo, buono ma non eccezionale. La carne ed i primi piatti che abbiamo mangiato non hanno superato alle nostre aspettative. Personale professionale e educato.

Da tanto volevo provarlo e ne ho sempre sentito parlare bene. I camerieri un po’ scorbutici forse perché era sabato sera, mettevano parecchia fretta inizialmente. Pensavamo volessero cacciarci per un eventuale secondo turno ma alla fine ci hanno lasciati tranquilli fino a che siamo andati via. La carne è molto buona, non si può dire il contrario, unica pecca è che è stata servita su un piatto freddo e di conseguenza si è raffreddata subito. Patatine fantastiche.

Ottimo locale sia per la qualità del servizio che per la qualità dei piatti. Stando per alcuni giorni a Milano ci siamo andati due volte e siamo rimasti sempre soddisfatti.
