06/11/2025: Ristorante Manna Noto, discovered on our last day, was easily one of the best dining experiences of our entire Sicilian vacation. It is a true hidden gem, tucked away just a short drive from our hotel (only 9 minutes!), nestled beautifully among olive and mandarin fields. Ambiance and Hospitality: As soon as we drove in, the setting was stunning; the outdoor courtyard was beautiful, and the interior was the perfect blend of rustic and stylish. We were greeted warmly at the door and immediately felt like we were entering someone's home rather than a restaurant. The waiters were incredibly friendly, professional, and natural. We even chatted and laughed together! They provided personal, thoughtful recommendations for both wine and food and genuinely did not try to upsell us on the most expensive items. The Exceptional Food: The menu is wonderfully diverse, offering excellent choices of antipasti, pasta (including gnocchi), fish, meat, and plenty of vegetarian options. What sets Manna apart is that the menu included delicious dishes not only from Sicily but also from other regions of Italy—my husband loved his special of Tuscan Beef Stew. I ordered the superb Caponata and Gnocchi, and my daughter enjoyed the Pasta with Lamb Ragu. Every course, from the antipasti to the mains, was exceptionally delicious. A special shout-out must go to the bread: it was the best I've had in Italy—fresh and perfectly made of sourdough! The desserts, with their intense taste of local fruits, were also fantastic. And the Arancina—the flavor was so incredibly intense it lingered for hours. Despite having a close-to-fine-dining, slightly poshy ambiance, the staff's warmth and natural manner made us feel completely at ease and comfortable. If you are anywhere near Noto, you must make a reservation to eat here. You will not regret it!

29/10/2025: What a delicious relaxing lunch at Ci Voleva. Friendly servers steered my gluten-free partner to the roast sea bass that was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the one w swordfish. Loved our leisurely lunch at this “right next to the mercato” spot!

29/10/2025: Great place, delicious food, excellent service. We arrive early in the afternoon. Other restaurants around were closed, ragtzi at the plaza told us about Ci Volera, we were really hungry and my pregnant wife needed to eat so we were lucky we arrived here. I ordered the sea food risotto and it was yummy and very generous. I think the owner took care of our order . It was a good experience in the beatiful Syracuse. Molto Gratzie señora.

01/10/2025: The food was sooo delicious, and the seafood salad as an appetizer was our absolute favorite. Plus, the atmosphere in the cozy courtyard is totally cozy!

19/10/2025: The guide recommended it to us, and it was fantastic. We had pasta with clams and baked sea bream, both delicious. The sea bream that morning was breathtaking. The fish of the day. Well cooked. The service was very friendly and warm. The atmosphere was discreet, elegant, yet warm. We didn't try the desserts because we weren't hungry, but the cannoli and tiramisu looked amazing.

17/09/2025: After traveling all day, it was such luck that I walked by and happened to find this place. Unique courtyard with such peace. Super delicious food! Ate pasta Norma and a salad. Want to go back🙌🏻😍

08/11/2025: A few days ago, I received a birthday gift from my children: a gourmet package from the Burgio brothers, straight from Sicily to Sardinia. The package was shockproof and contained several specialties. I have yet to try the fennel pesto, pistachio pesto, and jams, but the Nebrodi black pork sausage already took me back to my childhood, when home-raised pigs were processed in kitchens amidst the fire and smoke. The caponata and the large seasoned olives were an explosion of flavors and colors, and finally, I tasted Modica chocolate for the first time and discovered another universe. Thank you, Burgio brothers, for your attention to detail; the caponata and olives definitely beat aftershave as a birthday gift.

07/11/2025: Fantastic every time an incredible experience, the atmosphere and the high quality of the cured meats and cheeses and the freshness of the ingredients create an authentic and unique atmosphere

19/11/2025: We had a wonderful evening here. We booked online, everything went smoothly, and we got a table right away. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, and the chef himself even came out a couple of times to check if everything was alright. We felt completely comfortable and welcome, and the food was truly excellent.

15/11/2025: I have come to this restaurant the last 2 nights since coming to Siracusa. Mirko and his people have treated my wife and I like family. The food is unbelievable.....the best Burrata in Sicily....I have had the Sea Bream served table side as well all the crusted swordfish....both the best I've ever eaten. So, this may sound like most reviews....but Mirko has stopped at our table explaining which wine, which fish, which dish as prime and segundi.....and served them with love. Tomorrow night, as my wife and niece go to a cooking class I plan on eating there again as a single...knowing that a feast is in store. This made Sicily.....

05/11/2025: What a gem Le Vin de l'Assassin is. We happened to walk by and the lights and decorations caught our eye, so we returned the next day and were blown away. So many intimate and unique touches-- hand written menus, beautiful lights, and of course incredible French-inspired Sicilian food. The Pumpkin Velouté was one of the best soups we'd had in a long time, the croque Madame was on point, and the beef with pepper sauce was just perfect. We chatted with the owner and staff for a bit-- truly interesting, friendly, fun people from all over the world. A perfect experience to end our trip to Ortigia and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a night of ambiance, great food, or French flair. Merci beaucoup!

18/10/2025: I visited for our anniversary and was even treated to a surprise meal. I was impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The vegan tasting portion was so generous that I had some leftover. If you choose the right menu, I highly recommend it.

29/11/2025: We dined at this restaurant with high expectations, based on other people's recommendations, but to our great disappointment, we were served frozen and rubbery fish. The price was quite competitive, but you wouldn't expect the fish to be anything less than fresh in a seaside location.

13/11/2025: After a long day walking, we have chosen this restaurant in a nice little decorated street. Unfortunately, there was no space for 4 persons outdoor so we went inside. We were alone and the waiters were going back and forth from the kitchen to the terrasse. It was like we were in the middle of path. Staff was friendly but it was difficult to understand each other. Food was ok but not incredible.

10/11/2025: A fantastic little place where you can try everything from land and sea in appetizers. Or try tartare, swordfish steaks, or tuna. Burgers. The menu is extensive. Rounding out the menu is a wide selection of wines, craft beers, and cocktails.

27/10/2025: A quiet and simple place. Super authentic and tasty dishes made with top-quality ingredients, suitable for all palates, even vegetarians. The kitchen staff are really helpful, and the service is truly friendly and "singing" 😀.

24/10/2025: Very good food and drinks (smoothies, granite). Great atmosphere thanks to the guitar played by the owner.
