08/10/2025: Absolutely perfect. Top-notch service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. The food is fantastic; we had the best meal here on our trip through Calabria and Sicily. Excellent wines. An insider tip in Ortigia! We'll be back next time we're in Syracuse!

05/10/2025: We were in Syracuse for 1.5 days and we went here twice. Every single dish we got was a piece of culinary art. The dish of grilled fish was a great choice for two people to try different kinds of seafood. The fish were so fresh they melted in my mouth. The tuna tartar was very delicate and an absolute blast. The sardine and orange and fennel salad? I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve had cannoli all over sicily and none of them beat the one I had here: light, soft, the right amount of sweetness. The cherry on top is that they’re also pro-Palestine and they have it written all over the restaurant.

11/10/2025: The food was good. Unfortunately the service and attitude is really really bad. Especially the younger waiters and waitresses. Everyone were more focused with bringing customers into the shop than providing services to customers already in the shop. The attitude can be retraced back to their responses to bad reviews - instead of commenting that they would do better or differently, it's always the customers' fault that they had a bad experience. Good food can also be found elsewhere around the area. Unfortunately attitude not very Sicilian like.

19/10/2025: The guide recommended it to us, and it was fantastic. We had pasta with clams and baked sea bream, both delicious. The sea bream that morning was breathtaking. The fish of the day. Well cooked. The service was very friendly and warm. The atmosphere was discreet, elegant, yet warm. We didn't try the desserts because we weren't hungry, but the cannoli and tiramisu looked amazing.

17/09/2025: After traveling all day, it was such luck that I walked by and happened to find this place. Unique courtyard with such peace. Super delicious food! Ate pasta Norma and a salad. Want to go back🙌🏻😍

26/10/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening on the recommendation of an acquaintance, whom I will forever thank for recommending this restaurant. We felt welcomed like family. The explanation of each dish was a true tale of how and why that offering was on the menu. All seasoned with passion and expertise. We had a wonderful evening, dining beautifully and feeling a little pampered. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: We were looking for a good restaurant, but everything nearby was already booked and not very comforting, despite the reviews. Finally, we found the Antica Locanda. It's been a long time since I've found a restaurant as magnificent as this one. Everything was exceptional, from the menu to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and I'm not the type to leave positive reviews often. I enjoyed the local dishes recommended by the staff, and I must say it was truly worth it, not to mention the desserts, which were explained in detail. I highly recommend it; I give it 6 stars, even though the maximum is 5. If I ever return to Ortigia, it will be my first stop. Wonderful.

25/10/2025: We went to this place for dinner for two. The interior is charming, resembling a piazza, and it's always very Neapolitan in style. The waiter was very rushed, so I asked for a minute to order because we hadn't even had time to sit down. He had already come over to ask if we'd decided. I ordered a raw fish appetizer, so I was expecting a varied dish. I'll add a photo so you can see what the dish looked like. I put down my fork to take the last bite, and the waiter quickly cleared my plate. While I was deciding whether or not to have dessert, there was a spoon left on the table unused, and I, though completely wrong, had fiddled with it. The waiter, without asking, took it and put it back in the drawer at the counter among the clean things, and nothing stopped my craving for dessert.

08/10/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. Everything is delicious. The menu is refined and well-executed. It offers alternative dishes to the classic restaurants in Ortigia.

07/10/2025: The service was friendly and of very good quality, and the restaurant itself was nice. I really enjoyed my meal. However, the quantity and the price were totally out of balance. It was the most expensive restaurant I've visited in Italy, yet the only one where I left still feeling hungry. don't mind paying that much, but the portion size really needs to be bigger. I paid about the same price as in France (maybe even a bit more), but I felt like I had only eaten an appetizer. If you want to represent French cuisine, you should also reflect the portions, not just the prices. Leaving a restaurant still hungry is really not a pleasant experience.

18/10/2025: I visited for our anniversary and was even treated to a surprise meal. I was impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The vegan tasting portion was so generous that I had some leftover. If you choose the right menu, I highly recommend it.

10/10/2025: One of the best meals we had in Sicily! The restaurant offered incredible options and multiple tasting menus, but also an à la carte selection for a more personalized experience. The service was exceptional, and it was such a nice touch to see the chef visiting tables to ensure every guest was enjoying their meal. The food was a perfect mix of authentic Sicilian flavors! Dishes were fresh, creative, elevated and absolutely delicious! Well had an incredible time here, would definitely return.

15/10/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. What made the lunch time even more special was the owner, Francesco, who played beautiful music on his guitar, creating such a warm and charming atmosphere. It felt personal and full of heart. A perfect place to enjoy great food, lovely people, nice view in the heart of Noto and live music. Highly recommended!

23/09/2025: Can’t say enough good about this restaurant. I’ve been in Sicily for 12 days. Have had meals of all sorts — “nicer” ones, more casual, etc. so far most of my favorite food has come from chill little spots run by one or two people…but Andrea just salvaged the “nice” bucket. You can tell the team has experience, and found their voice a long time ago. You can’t fake a connection — if it’s there it’s there. Perfect meal. I just canceled my dinner reservations for tomorrow because I have to end my trip on that.

14/09/2025: Be warned: prices have increased by an average of 50% compared to the menu images. Everything else is refined and delicious. Recommended.

08/10/2025: I had chosen to try Campisi restaurant after reading many enthusiastic reviews, but unfortunately my experience didn't live up to expectations. The main course I ordered was completely salty, to the point of being inedible, and I had to send it back. I expected more attention to detail in the kitchen, especially considering the restaurant's reputation. That said, I still want to applaud the location, which is truly refined and charming, and the friendly and professional wait staff, who handled the situation with courtesy. I hope this was just an isolated incident, because the place certainly deserves the same level of culinary quality.
