10/11/2024: It was one of the most exciting food and wine experiences of my life. From the entrance to the desserts, a union of continuous emotions. We came across it by chance with my family, including my wife and daughter who are celiac, after a morning at the seaside in a bay a few kilometers away. The tables are located in a courtyard of an ancient farmhouse built in stone and decorated with flowering plants and climbers. The guys in the room pampered us and explained the various dishes, one after the other, all delicious combinations of a cuisine characterized by the flavors of a wonderful land like Sicily.

31/12/2024: We found the inn by chance, without looking at reviews etc. At 12.30 we entered and there were no customers inside, we know that at lunch people go to the beach, we were worried at first but then we became familiar with the waiter (Francesco) and I must say that we had fun. With delicious food and good wine we ended up having a really good time. The dessert (Top) a nice decomposed cannoli with ricotta that I will remember. The owner as well as Chef is a very polite and knowledgeable person. We will return, but above all recommended. Compliments!

11/11/2024: Tannur ci è stato raccomandato dal nostro host a Noto ma si è rivelato al di sotto delle aspettative e di quanto ci era stato detto in merito alla qualità dello stesso. Servizio cortese come abbiamo trovato in tuti i locali siciliani che abbiamo visitato ma abbastanza impacciato. Il locale è freddino e la qualità dei piatti non lascia ricordi particolari. Una piccola delusione soprattutto in rapporto alle recensioni molto buone trovate on line.

26/01/2025: My family stayed here in April 2024 and it was the best hotel of our trip. Location could not be more perfect. The building is gorgeous & well maintained. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a style that feels both modern and traditional Sicilian. The bathroom in our room had traditional blue tile and a huge shower. The buffet has fill-your-own cannoli, fresh squeezed blood orange juice and a variety of pastries, fruits, cheeses, yogurt & more. I wish I could come stay here every year. It is luxurious without being ostentatious. Absolute perfection.

05/01/2025: Our experience was negative. The €24 platter for 2 was poor in quality and quantity: the sardines were very salty, the rest almost tasteless. The first course of fresh pasta was inedible as it was overcooked and also poorly mixed with the sauce. The staff were friendly but unfortunately this is not enough.

24/01/2025: World-class food, great ingredients, wonderfully balanced taste, and the dessert is a delight. Unusual use of local ingredients - especially in the dessert, which was a variation on carob. I highly recommend it. Prices adequate to quality. Very nice owner, chefs at metropolitan level.

07/02/2025: Traditional food house, without any pretense of modernity, where traditional local cuisine dishes are served, based on fish. The caponata, with potatoes, are good; The point of the fish frying is excellent, without excess oil, crispy and tasty. The bigoli alle sarde e Finocchietto are perhaps the best pasta I have had in eight days in Sicily. Interesting dishes of the day. I ordered some spaghetti with sea urchins that were delicious. We came back twice. An absolutely recommended place, at a reasonable price. Very attentive and friendly staff, without artifice or posturing.

06/02/2025: Had the marinara swordfish with olives it was a bit too salty. Still enjoyable though.

31/10/2024: Picturesque ambience in the middle of a baroque street. Cheffe played the guitar, which conveyed the best Italo vibes. Our vegetarian food selection with salad and crepes/pancakes were good, but the portion size was manageable. The paninis served to the neighboring tables, however, looked great. :) Thanks to the service and musical accompaniment, we left lunch in a great mood.

21/01/2025: I’m giving this place one star - not because the sandwiches weren’t good but because they came in paper without a plate, and leaked oil over the table and my clothes - which were ruined by oil stains. When showing the wait staff on payment, they shrugged and said we could ask for a plate next time. There won’t be a next time… If sitting at a table, a plate and cutting a sandwich in half would make it less likely for oil to spill on clothes. I’m pretty careful but although accidents happen, there was no way this was not going to be a mess. I should’ve been even more careful but the service didn’t help. Shifting costs by not having plates is just not on. So by all means eat here but if getting a sandwich, ask for a plate and a big napkin and eat over the table !

31/10/2024: In the meat plate, there are 4 types of meat 2 peaces each for 16 euros that look weird and too expensive (not tasty as well). Roast beef looks good but is completely tasteless. Swordfish is overroasted and covered with a lot of bitter oil, and it's served with eggplants of disgusting semi-liquid consistency. Canneloni itself is good, but the minced meat filling is too finely chopped and not cooked well. Not a single dish was finished that is too bad for 80 euros for 3 persons.
