11/08/2025: One of the most beautiful restaurant I have ever been. The food and the service are amazing as well.

09/08/2025: Belated review having eaten here multiple times in May. The food was universally excellent, inventive and beautifully presented. We still talk about the wonderful Flavia who looked after us so well, and Stefano who introduced us to some fabulous Sicilian wines.

08/07/2025: Extremely slow service. 45 minutes for the Tannur appetizer. The paccheri with sea bream ragù was flavorless and had a lot of bones. When we pointed this out to the owner, he indignantly replied, "There are some bones." Not even an apology. The catch of the day took 55 minutes to cook, instead of the advertised 40. And anyway, the dish was flavorless, rather dry, with little seasoning... nothing special. You couldn't taste the freshness of the fish of the day. We had to ask for bread. The bill was okay, with a regular The Fork discount. I don't recommend it in general. Too slow, quality was nothing special.

26/07/2025: Really welcoming, lots of specials based on the day’s freshest catch. Chef owner was really hospitable, food was simple but delicious. Low key, would highly recommend.

06/08/2025: A superb discovery in Ortigia! Le Vin de l'Assassin is a gem where French cuisine brilliantly blends with Sicilian cuisine. The very welcoming owner is French and will passionately guide you through an impressive wine list. We enjoyed everything from starter to dessert! The burrata salad with salmon was divine, the lamb shank melted in the mouth, and the pasta de la nonna comforting. To top it off, the tiramisu with a rum baba base is truly delicious, a unique and memorable dessert.

04/08/2025: Didn't have much natural wine, even though they are in Raisin. Too many staff without structure and knowledge. We never got the right three, were asked for dessert twice in between. Nice place, but little knowledge on wine and service.

27/07/2025: A good restaurant with delicious food and atmosphere, the only thing I would change is the chairs and sometimes there can be problems with the staff that you have to wait 1 minute before entering. Oysters were brought in 13 minutes,ravioli 35 minutes,water is served immediately and if you ordered wine, you can choose which one tastes better to you

20/07/2025: Dined inside on our first visit, and the food and service were top notch! On our return visit, we sat in the courtyard. There might not be a more beautiful setting in the world in which to dine, and the food matches the setting!

13/07/2025: Very well-kept place, the waiting and kitchen staff are super efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. The owner is attentive and very helpful, making you feel at home and it feels like you've known him forever... and what can I say about the food... excellent quality ingredients that are prepared with skill and professionalism... We entered by chance... and we returned every evening of the holiday... FANTASTIC ✨

12/07/2025: The waiters are impatient and do not help with menu too much. The menu is a 1-line menu with no details on what the food contains. We walked a lot to get there because it was on a gluten-free site. They had very limited gluten free choice.

14/07/2025: An incredible outdoor Sicilian vibe, with the notes of live piano music decorating our ambience. The service was attentive, and the food very well thought out in every dish. The cappuccino was also good. Perfect alley breakfast/lunch stop.

13/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant and amazing dinner. We had the meat sauce tagliolini and sage butter raviolis. Would recommend both along with the arranchini and caprese salad. Everything was so fresh and the complimentary bread was probably the best bread I’ve had in Italy!! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Ortigia. Staff are lovely too :)

12/07/2025: Everything was pretty tasty, except the white fish in seaweed mosaic. Unless you love seaweed that much I highly urge to slip that one

27/07/2025: A very nice restaurant with very attentive and courteous staff. They welcome children and dogs, despite having cats. The food is very tasty and of good quality!

24/07/2025: Excelente atención y platos deliciosos. Comimos pasta una vez y pescado la otra vez que fuimos. Los preceios son muy buenos y el lugar inigualable. Lo recomiendo.
