Ferro di Cavallo In Palermo

I arrived 5 minutes before the restaurant opened. The kind, quick and helpful waiters gave us the opportunity to move from the terrace where it was cold to the restaurant; the place is a bit crowded but very familiar. The menu is not very explicit, but the waitress directed us to the ordered pasta. They were tasty, as were the drinks. You can pay by card.

We were lucky to arrive just when they opened at 19:30 and we got a table, when we left at 20:30 there were people outside waiting for the table to be released, so the place is very popular, good and fresh food, very fast service, prices decent and very acceptable, it is well worth eating at this restaurant.

Excellent food, fast service and fair prices

Indicated as a restaurant for tourists, this restaurant proved to be a triumph of typical dishes and courtesy. Welcoming environment and honest prices. Recommended!

Wonderful experience! Attentive, friendly and fast staff. Delicious dishes, from the first to the dessert. Informal atmosphere faithful to Palermo traditions. Honest prices and also very low, I highly recommend.

That was such good food. It is prepared with love, has a full taste and is just pure enjoyment. The prices are really great (8 euros per pasta). We had the pasta wrapped in eggplant and the typical Sicilian with green pesto and sardines. As a starter we had the fish dumplings in tomato sauce (also very good). The dessert (chocolate cake) was nothing special. I don't think they're homemade. But I would come back every time for the food. Clear recommendation!

Good food, rustic and beautiful place, very good prices... choice of house wines at €10 per bottle, tasty first and second courses! 👍

Piatti tipici Siciliani a costi contenuti. Consigliato da un amico di Palermo ho pensato di cenare tentando di prenotare al telefono: non accettano prenotazioni . Ci si presenta e se c'è posto ..si mangia.Per fortuna il locale non è picolo e si può mangiare anche all esterno . Involtini di melanzana e di pesce spada ottimi ;anche pasta alla marinara pesce fresco. Poi ogni giorno pesce pescato poche porzioni proprio di ciò che ha offerto il mare quel giorno. Tovaglia in carta con i piatti ed i prezzi indicati a lato (4/5 antipasti 4/5 primi e secondi e dolci : sono specializzati su quei piatti sempre freschi vista l'affluenza).Personale attento e veloce. Cantina non immensa ma valida La sera se non si vuole aspettare in coda cena entro le 19,30 (i turisti nordici - i locali arrivano dopo le 21). Aneddoto simpatico : all'uscita ho notato una coda in attesa . La cosa non è sfuggita al titolare che è uscito offrendo spumante e aperitivo gratis per ingannare l'attesa ..... (certo non potrebbe succedere in Brianza ) a riprova dell'attenzione al cliente .

Trattoria storica e tipica di Palermo. Location molto colorata, tovaglia di carta, nessun tavolo apparecchiato, ma ci sta, visto il coperto 1€. Pochi piatti ma cucinati davvero bene! Servizio nei tempi giusti, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato!
