Received in very good condition. A little expensive.

A table for two by the sea on an enchanting July evening... the perfect setting to lose yourself in the flavors of the dishes cooked by chef Balistreri... the swordfish flan and the roasted octopus placed on a vortex reminiscent of the sea are unsurpassed... the tortelli with mussels and tenerumi exceeded expectations... I will be back

The portions were small. Luckily, we weren't very hungry... but for second courses costing €25 and €20, we expected to eat a bit more. Also, the grilled squid was a bit tough, and the swordfish was not very succulent and a bit dry. The caponata under the swordfish was delicious. The waitress was very kind... and last but not least... a salad with three green leaves and two pieces of tomato for €8... luckily they had good olives.

Stopped here for a glass of wine and a shrimp cocktail appetizer. We received excellent service, a table by the sea and the best bread and shrimp appetizer that I have had in a very long time. The town is lovely, the views are even better.

A good restaurant, a beautiful space, and a splendid outdoor terrace with a sea view. The food is good and the price is in line with what they offer. Recommended.

I had saved al faro verde with the note “THE FOOD HERE OMG and this town!” this place was our first impression of San Elia and, it made the best impression! We happened upon this place by asking someone local along the road where we should go for a good seafood lunch, as we were in this stunning seaside town. We were after a nice seafood meal, this did the job and more! The quality and taste of the food was worth the money imo. We were quite early so we didn’t have to wait. I read people were worried about the scarce customers - we were the first and only table there but another table came through when we were on our mains - I guess people have lunch and dinner later than we were used to. It being a very local town, we also acknowledged that a random Wednesday won’t be when the place is busy. We also saw that there were many groups of teenagers and families with kids at the beach so it’s quite likely that their budget or taste is more pizza and light bites on a hot summer afternoon.
