A good restaurant, a beautiful space, and a splendid outdoor terrace with a sea view. The food is good and the price is in line with what they offer. Recommended.

I had saved al faro verde with the note “THE FOOD HERE OMG and this town!” this place was our first impression of San Elia and, it made the best impression! We happened upon this place by asking someone local along the road where we should go for a good seafood lunch, as we were in this stunning seaside town. We were after a nice seafood meal, this did the job and more! The quality and taste of the food was worth the money imo. We were quite early so we didn’t have to wait. I read people were worried about the scarce customers - we were the first and only table there but another table came through when we were on our mains - I guess people have lunch and dinner later than we were used to. It being a very local town, we also acknowledged that a random Wednesday won’t be when the place is busy. We also saw that there were many groups of teenagers and families with kids at the beach so it’s quite likely that their budget or taste is more pizza and light bites on a hot summer afternoon.

Al Faro Verde A wonderful discovery in Porticello 🌊 Absolutely delicious food from start to finish. The potato and pink prawn tortellini were incredible: beautiful fresh pasta, perfectly executed. The linguine with fish, the waiter's suggestion, was also excellent. Special mention to Daniele for the service: attentive, warm, and full of great recommendations. The mixed grilled fish was superb, perfectly cooked, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. And the desserts… probably some of the best we've ever had ✨ The incredibly delicious almond parfait and the coffee were the perfect ending to the meal. Magnificent, magnificent, magnificent.

We went to Faro Verde for our anniversary. The place is breathtakingly beautiful. Very evocative. Our table was near a window overlooking the sea. We ordered appetizers and two first courses. Everything was truly excellent, the fish was incredibly fresh, and the staff was friendly and ready to advise us on our dish selection. I highly recommend it!!

We only drank wine, but the view was amazing. The interior has a beautiful atmosphere—it's worth visiting in the evening. The most beautiful place in Sicily.

This was my best meal in Sicily. Nestled by the seaside, the restaurant offers a unique experience that invites you to unwind, relax, and truly take in all that panoramic Sicily has to offer. I enjoyed several courses and was especially impressed by the chef’s kindness and his willingness to explain each dish as if it were a work of art (which they are). I even asked how it was possible that the fresh pasta is perfectly al dente, but he smiled and kept his secrets. This place is something special, only this chef could create food like this. As you take in the scent of the sea, feel the breeze on your skin, and watch seabirds soaring overhead, you realize this is more than just a meal. It’s an experience that changes your perspective on what it means to eat Sicilian food. As someone that has lived in Italy for many years, this meal remains memorable and it’s why I am writing this review almost 5 months later, it is a meal that lives rent free in my mind. I can’t wait to return to Sicily and eat here again!
