26/05/2025: I had been many times at the Cavaddari in the past during my visits to Sicily. This one was disappointing. Pasta overcooked and with no taste, there was too much noise, children running everywhere like in a kindergarten. They have changed decoration and the place has lost its character and personality. Staff polite and service good. What a pity…

09/03/2025: I'll start by saying that I had never been there and I must say that I was very surprised by the variety of foods offered in the starters and the quality obviously no less. We booked for 8 and we all appreciated the good food proposed by the chef including the dessert which finally wasn't packaged but handcrafted, specifically a mimosa cake, a profitterol and a panna cotta, all three very good, the place was very quiet, a location not far out of town but quiet and away from city traffic, all in all a good experience, low costs.

12/05/2025: Typical place created from a millstone, typical cuisine even if in the menu there is a slightly confused identity between the proposal of the day and the basic menu. Simple food without excellence of any kind and with some small preparation errors. Precise and courteous service as well as well-trained dining room staff. I was not satisfied with the quality/price ratio... three guests who took only one shared starter and three decidedly basic second courses, without a bottle of wine or dessert we spent 140 euros. A little too much to justify a zibibbo offered at the end of the meal or an entree of bread wafers. Personally I won't return, in my opinion there are much more interesting alternatives in the area

09/05/2025: this is something strange! the owner of the hotel recommended this place to us. very beautiful interior, made with love for details and decor. but we were very upset by the service. there were 2 waiters and a manager. they constantly came and did something on our table, moved, carried, took away (especially the man waiter). stood right in front of us and looked at us straightly. it was very uncomfortable, we were shy during all time. they also discussed us, thinking that we were foreigners and did not understand. the food was delicious, although the portions were small. but this uncomfortable atmosphere made us eat quickly, skip dessert and run away. when we asked for the bill and paid it with a credit card, they also brought us a wooden box with a receipt and a place for tips. i was sitting and looking for money in my bag to find a suitable one, at that moment the waiter-man, came up, opened it, slammed it and took it away!! what was that???? I was so confused. very bad manners, especial with the guest of you country, who is don’t understand something. We have been travelling around Sicilia already 1 week and first time meet so uncomfortable attitude in caffe.

08/05/2025: A true culinary experience! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of this gourmet pizzeria. The pizza dough is light, fragrant and highly digestible, with perfect leavening, with the possibility of choosing the same one, among 3 different variations. Each pizza is a true masterpiece, made with selected ingredients and refined combinations that enhance the flavors without ever overdoing it. The attention to the freshness and quality of the raw materials is also impeccable. The owner is absolutely competent and the staff is very friendly, prepared and ready to tell you every detail of the pizzas and the wines to match. The environment is large and welcoming, perfect for a special evening. One of the best gastronomic experiences I have had in recent times. I will return soon to also try the numerous delicacies of the menu that are offered in addition to the pizza. Highly recommended!

15/05/2025: Great seafood restaurant! The set menu is really excellent — we couldn’t even finish everything they brought us! We went for lunch for my mother’s birthday and it was a very pleasant experience. The room is bright and very beautiful. The service is friendly and discreet, really good. We especially loved the risotto!

21/04/2025: I celebrated my daughter's baptism and we returned for Easter.. it's always a guarantee.. Excellent food of excellent quality! Nice location and professional service!!! Thanks to chef Gaetano who is always kind and helpful!!!! We will be back soon!!!

04/05/2025: Posto molto bello sì piedi dell’Etna. Sabato sera ore 21.30 su prenotazione. Non era la prima volta e sempre stati molto bene. Capisco la serata (locale pieno)e ragazzi molto stanchi e poco empatici. Non ho accetto del tutto aver ordinato le pappardelle e mi sono arrivate le casareccie … ne deduco poca attenzione e non protesto. Il resto buono: Involtini, carne cucinata su tegola e filetto. Le patate fritte unte (fritte e rifritte nello stesso olio?). Nessuno, nemmeno il proprietario a chiedere se tutto andava bene o come ci siamo trovati. Poca empatia con chi potrebbe ritornare. Peccato.

23/05/2025: We sat quietly here at lunchtime and each ate a panini. Both were delicious; you could taste the quality of the product! The service was friendly and attentive.

23/05/2025: Like most places, it's on the street. The staff is nice and communicative. It was recommended to me as a place with some of the best pizzas by our host.

15/05/2025: Sad atmosphere, expensive and rustic restaurant. We ate mushrooms, which were supposed to be one of their specialties, and it was really disappointing. The same goes for the mediocre wines and the really bad primi piatti, all for a ultimately expensive bill.
