20/05/2025: The first thing that strikes you when you enter this trattoria is the warm welcome of the owner, who immediately makes you feel at home. The management is clearly family-run and this is reflected in every detail, from the relaxed atmosphere to the care of the dishes. The cuisine is simple and genuine: authentic flavors that bring to mind Sunday lunch at grandma's. Each course tells a story of a tradition, without frills but with a lot of heart. The restaurant itself is essential: an internal room and an external terrace, nothing pretentious, but perfectly in line with the spirit of the place. The fixed menu has a really honest price, especially considering the quality and quantity of the courses. All the diners left with a smile and a full stomach, satisfied by an experience that tastes like home and goodness. Recommended!

14/06/2025: A dinner to remember! We went to La Tana del Lupo for dinner and the experience was truly exceptional. As soon as we entered we were greeted with courtesy in a warm and rustic environment, with attention to the smallest details. We started with an appetizer of provola with honey: simple but exquisite, the sweet-salty contrast was perfectly balanced. As a first course, the pistachio panzotti won us over: creamy, fragrant and full of flavor, a real treat for pistachio lovers. The second course, a slice of Angus, was very tender and cooked to perfection, accompanied by tasty side dishes that enhanced the meat without covering its flavor. Attentive and friendly service, just the right amount of time between courses. Really excellent quality/price ratio. A place we recommend without hesitation and to which we will definitely return!

06/07/2025: De eerste avond dat wij bij La Stiva gegeten hebben was zo lekker, puur en gastvrij dat wij avond twee en drie hier ook zijn geweest. Antonella en Angelo komen van Sicilië en koken met de producten uit de regio. Je krijgt geen menukaart maar een tafel vol kleine gerechtjes. Vooral proeven, delen en genieten. Goed om te weten; wijn en water zijn bij de totaalprijs inbegrepen. Je proeft dat hier met liefde is gekookt. Antonella en Angelo hebben onze vakantie tot een feestje gemaakt.

I am so appreciate to your warm help for our teams safe return to hotel in late night. As this is my first trip to Sicily, I have no idea on Sicily's great food. I order some dishes and share with my friends, and we are surprised to the freshness and richness of the foods and high level of decorations, service and wine pairing. The amuse-bouche and welcome drink is perfect. This is real gourmet dinning, and I regret to miss your full course dinner. I will revisit your restaurant and enjoy it later. The price is very much affordable!

17/07/2025: Frequentiamo questo locale da sempre. Ultimamente la qualità è davvero scesa. Di tutto. Organizzazione, cibo, servizio, igiene. È davvero un peccato. Prenotiamo con anticipo e appena arrivati, dobbiamo aspettare almeno 15 minuti perché il tavolo non è ancora pronto. Ma andiamo oltre. Ci accomodiamo e dopo aver scelto, bisogna aspettare altri 15 minuti (forse anche di più) perché non c è linea ed è impossibile ordinare. Superato il secondo ostacolo, finalmente riusciamo ad ordinare. Tuttavia, prima arriva la pasta e dopo mezz'ora abbondante la carne. Di conseguenza, chi aveva scelto la carne come unico pasto ha dovuto guardare gli altri che cenavano e aspettare, ancora una volta, pazientemente. La pasta era buona. Carne idem. Pane secco, probabilmente non fresco di giornata. In conclusione : pessima organizzazione. Dispiace perché avevamo ospiti stranieri e non abbiamo fatto una bella figura.

15/05/2025: Sad atmosphere, expensive and rustic restaurant. We ate mushrooms, which were supposed to be one of their specialties, and it was really disappointing. The same goes for the mediocre wines and the really bad primi piatti, all for a ultimately expensive bill.
