21/06/2024: I certainly won't go back!!! I was expecting something special or more refined but nothing of this. Paying 90 euros for two measly appetizers consisting of 1 slice of mortadella, 1 slice of raw ham, a small piece of cheese and 1 slice of salami and two first courses (the usual first courses of any trattoria). I was very disappointed

24/06/2024: In the heart of Catania, although a bit off the beaten path, there is a delicious place where everything tastes wonderful. A warm and nice gentleman with a smile tried very hard to make us feel at home. We will definitely come back here.

26/07/2024: Felt totally invisible ! The worst place to visit in Catania! Surprisingly the food was good . My husband’s steak was delicious . My pasta Norma was too salty. The main reason I have given it one star is because the lovely lady at our hotel recommended this restaurant , so we just turned up. When we were taken to our table we were ignored for at least 15 mins. The waiters were looking at us like we were a headache ! Finally I had to get the attention of a waiter to get some water and drinks. Never will return!!!

08/07/2024: Surprenante trattoria au service dynamique et énergique. Tout va très (trop) vite. A peine assis, on nous propose la formule antipasti à 20€, on verra ensuite... Arrivent ensuite des plats et des plats de toute sorte : de la charcuterie, du fromage, des olives, salades, et différents plats cuits ... Bref un déluge, on n'en a mangé à peine la moitié, tant c'est copieux. C'est beaucoup trop, et côté qualité, rien d'exceptionnel, même si tout est correct. Plutôt à faire avec un bande de copains qu'à un dîner en amoureux, ce serait plutôt mon conseil ;)

01/09/2024: Sunday lunch, fixed menu imposed. The space is noticeably small for the number of people the restaurant welcomed today. Total chaos (we couldn't even speak). Without air conditioning (we were dead of heat), there were only three fans in the room. Fixed menu did not meet our expectations because the starters are poor in quantity and variety. Followed by a dish in which there were two samples of pasta. The dessert also left something to be desired, both in presentation and flavor. The quality was average. The waiters who took care of the service were kind and ready to meet our needs.

30/08/2024: C’era una volta Masseria Carminello, dove la qualità dei prodotti faceva da padrone. Pensavo avessero cambiato solo la location, ma a quanto pare sono cambiate un po’ di cose in cucina. Porzioni misere, poca scelta, qualità molto bassa. Mi spiace perché si mangiava molto bene prima. Menomale che son venuta da sola con la mia famiglia, e non ho invitato altre persone, perché dopo averli lodati a lungo, avrei fatto solo brutta figura. Per la qualità offerta, i prezzi sono alti. Due stelle solo per la gentilezza della storica cameriera.

27/07/2024: Sunday alternative to the sea, arrived in the morning, umbrellas and deckchairs by the pool, possibility to order drinks, good lunch, and again to take a bath.....not bad
