15/01/2026: I returned after a couple of years, remembering the excellent dishes and the warm welcome from Luca, the owner. This was also a wonderful culinary experience. Excellent, unusual dishes, accompanied by a selection of Sardinian wines that are difficult to find elsewhere. We had fish dishes. Next time we'll try the meat. The price is proportionate to the quality and originality of the dishes. Highly recommended!

02/01/2026: On January 1, 2026, we once again had lunch at Bentu & Soi, a restaurant where we are regulars. Luca, an excellent restaurateur, welcomed us on a special day—New Year's Eve lunch—with very little advance notice from us. He served us with rare professionalism and showcased all his technical and local knowledge in his delicious, truly excellent dishes. You can tell the quality of the food is the result of nearly twenty years of experience, but above all, of constant attention to improving techniques and attention to detail. On a cold December day, Luca warmed us with his humanity and empathy, but also his kindness, which were greatly appreciated. We will continue to be his loyal customers and delight in his corner of Sardinian paradise in Rome. Highly recommended!!! Patrizio & Family

10/02/2026: A warm welcome. We ate delicious, typically Roman food. The food was generous and reasonably priced. The staff was attentive and friendly.

07/02/2026: Delicious and well-prepared food at a very reasonable price. Service is an additional €2.50 per person, which is average for most restaurants. Highly recommended if you're looking for something different from pasta and pizza. We had crispy octopus (spectacular!), gorgonzola ravioli with truffle, and tripe alla romana; everything was excellent and the portions were generous.

21/12/2025: A top-quality seafood lunch, the chef's selection of appetizers is always a delight: the freshest tuna, swordfish with melon, octopus carpaccio, and fried baby octopus—a true delight. For our second course, we had the Catalan-style lobster, a true feast for the eyes and the taste buds, as it resembled a painting. The apple dessert with cream, mille mele, was so good I ordered a second portion, accompanied by tozzetti and typical Sardinian sweets. To accompany the meal, Vermentino di Gallura wine, served at the perfect temperature. What can I say... a place that feels like a family. The price is in line with the quality offered, and reflects a menu designed with care and passion.

06/03/2026: DIVINE experience, the dishes are culinary experiences that take you far away, you travel with every bite. Turbot like I've never tasted, truly thrilling! Thank you for the love and passion you put into it, you made me happy. The only downside? The acoustics, the diners next to me told beautiful stories that I listened to even though I didn't want to 😅🤣 what loud voices! But everything else is truly worth experiencing.

06/03/2026: A restaurant where you feel right at home, but the food is definitely better! 😄 The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming: they truly make you feel welcome, like a guest in their home. The food is spectacular, with an authentic flavor of tradition and passion. I've been back several times and it's never disappointed. The fish is incredibly fresh and of excellent quality. The only thing that needs attention is the acoustics: if someone raises their voice a little, it can become quite noisy. Perhaps some sound-absorbing furniture would solve the problem. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fish or traditional Sardinian cuisine!

05/01/2026: What can I say... simply fantastic. Beautiful and very well-kept location, the fish is always fresh, and the dishes are prepared with care. The waiters are always attentive, and politeness and discretion are paramount. I've become friends with Gianni now; he's been a customer for years and is a great person. If I had to go eat at the fish restaurant or recommend it to someone, I could only say... Karalis!!!

30/12/2025: Excellent food quality. The fish is prepared to preserve its flavor without overpowering it. You can tell the kitchen is expertly prepared. I've been there many times and will return many times. I especially recommend the spectacular tartare. The only flaw is that the raw fish contains some frozen products, so they're not always fresh.

20/01/2026: We were in Rome for work, and since we were walking to the hotel where we were staying on a rainy evening, we stopped at the first restaurant we found. It was a truly unique experience: delicious food, fresh, top-quality ingredients, a clean environment, and very friendly and helpful staff. Next time we're in Rome, we'll definitely be back to try other traditional dishes! Highly recommended!

We've tried everything without ever encountering any unpleasant surprises. It remains my favorite restaurant to this day, with extraordinary ingredients and a cuisine that showcases them. 18/02/2026: Good food. The only downside is the truly paltry portions. I ordered the chef's fettuccine, a minimal amount of pasta, lots of pecorino cheese, and very little fish, for over €20. On the other hand, the staff is very friendly, and the complimentary entrée offered by the restaurant was very welcome.
