As a great lover of good food, I can say that here you immediately perceive the attention to detail: always the freshest fish and ingredients, dishes crafted with taste, balance, and great respect for flavor. Each course exudes passion, expertise, and love for what's served.

Kudos to the chef for the excellent porceddu al mirt (pork roast with myrtle). We ordered it to celebrate Easter Monday, and it was a glimpse into authentic Sardinia. Generous portions... we'll see you again soon. :)

Are you in Gallarate? Fancy eating seafood in an elegant restaurant? Do you have some money in your pocket? If so, Albatros is the perfect choice. You won't regret it. The price is obviously higher than other places, but it's absolutely reasonable considering the level of service and the quality of the food.

The restaurant lacks parking due to its location; the only option is to park in a nearby designated area, which you should be notified of when booking (which was not the case). The restaurant has a 1970s style, out of fashion for its intended audience. The quality and execution of some dishes are quite questionable for the price: crudités are limited, especially given the size of the shellfish (the scampi and shrimp are inadequate); spaghetti with sea urchins is completely unsalted, and only your imagination can help you appreciate the flavor of the sea urchins (if some products are no longer easily available, it would be better to give up and not resort to foreign products). The Pezzogna garnished with artichokes is excellent.

The quality of the fish is excellent, the atmosphere is family-friendly yet high-end. The raw fish is the best I've ever eaten. The Sardinian notes in some dishes are much appreciated. Congratulations!
