27/08/2025: Highly recommended place, very close to St. Peter's Square (on Via Borgio Pio). Great value. The portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry. The atmosphere is spectacular, and the staff is extremely friendly. They speak Spanish. Both the pasta dishes and the pizza we ate were spectacular. Without a doubt, this place isn't to be missed.

24/10/2025: Forget it, 67-year-old Roman. Trastevere is now a no-man's land. Carbonara with spaghetti to forget. Unpronounceable bacon. Matriciana is insubstantial and bland. It takes a lot to cook this badly in Italy. It's a tourist trap. The chef, in his 30s, should change profession. The place is run by young people who can't forgive everything. 14.50 for a carbonara? Measly portions. The quality of the raw materials is very questionable. Failed on all fronts.

10/01/2026: Roman cuisine with excellent value. I recommend the tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Friendly and efficient staff.

27/12/2025: The food is undoubtedly excellent, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. However, I've noticed with regret that year after year the portions are getting smaller while the prices are rising. Paying €2.50 for a single Ascoli olive and €14 for a Margherita seems excessive, despite the quality of the ingredients. It's a real shame, because the food is worth it, but the current quantities leave a bitter taste.

24/02/2026: I was very disappointed. I was there a few months ago, it was wonderful, and I returned enthusiastically, but I have to say, don't go if you're Italian. And I even left the tip.

04/01/2026: Without a doubt, this was my worst dining experience during our six days in Rome. We went in because, visually, the restaurant seemed authentic and traditional, but from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was tense. The food was average, nothing special, but the real turning point came when we received the bill. 91 euros for three pasta dishes and one simple meat dish, plus two beers, a bottle of water, and two coffees, seemed excessive. There may have been a misunderstanding due to the translation, but I understood that the side dishes (potatoes or salad) were included, and yet they still charged us an extra 5 euros for the potatoes. We were also surprised by the 9 euro service charge, as well as the price of the beers (6 euros each). In short, very poor value for money and an experience we wouldn't repeat or recommend. 16/06/2025: Très agréablement surpris de trouver cette très bonne adresse dans ce quartier, la clientèle locale ne s’y trompe pas, elle vient nombreuse. La cuisine est assez élaborée, le service attentionné et les prix raisonnables.

30/03/2025: Cena con famiglia. Ordinati 4 primi: 2 carbonare, 1 tonnarello cacio e pepe e un’amatriciana… tutti talmente salati che sembravano cotti nell’acqua di mare! Sicuramente non assaggiati dal cuoco. Impossibile finire la portata. Mai più.

01/01/2026: €100 for New Year's Eve. Entrance at 8:00 PM Waited in line for over half an hour to get in. The appetizers on the fish menu had 10g or less of fish. Squid ink risotto with shrimp tartare was not served. Drinks: €10 for a glass of wine, €15 for a drink. A steal.

01/01/2026: Complete rubbish... €100 on New Year's Eve for two pieces of fish. The waiter was a Calafiori lookalike, rude enough to be half-way there, and even aggressive. Awful place.

03/01/2026: Terrible!!! The experience I had at this restaurant on the evening of December 31st was, in every respect, seriously disappointing and unworthy of a restaurant business, especially on a symbolic date like New Year's Eve. I and sixteen others were forced to leave the restaurant at 10:00 PM, a circumstance completely incompatible with an evening that, by its very nature, should be well-organized, welcoming, and respectful of guests. This imposition caused obvious inconvenience, irreparably compromising the evening. From a gastronomic standpoint, the situation was no better: some dishes emitted unpleasant and unreassuring odors, while the fish-filled ravioli were of undeclared origin and of questionable quality, leaving more than one diner perplexed and concerned. Added to this is the somewhat unusual management of the service, to the point that patrons found themselves heating their own toast on the grill, in a setting that would be an understatement to call improvised. Overall, this was an experience that caused real and significant harm to guests, especially considering the time of year and the legitimate expectations associated with it. Such a level of disorganization and neglect should have no place in a restaurant open to the public. In light of what happened, I cannot recommend this restaurant, hoping that management will seriously reconsider its minimum standards of quality, safety, and customer respect.

03/01/2026: A nightmare New Year's Eve. There's no rating for this shit. I never thought I'd experience an evening like this. Seventeen of us chose this place for our New Year's Eve dinner, paying for an expensive menu that turned out to be a total disaster and a display of disrespect towards the customer. It all started with the appetizers: completely different from what was promised. The excuse? A phantom "gluten-free menu" that none of us ever requested. They served us stale, toasted, and roughly torn bread. The situation worsened with the first courses: we were forced to stop because the food was simply inedible for a human being. We had to spit out the first bite of the mussel dish, which tasted so terrible it was repulsive. The most shocking thing, however, was the staff's reaction. When we tried to have a civilized discussion to see if it was normal to present dishes in that condition, the waiters began to insult us harshly. They called us "rude," yelling that "we should have stayed home instead of going there to bother them." They continued to swear at us with incredible rudeness the entire time. Faced with the unsavory food and the verbal abuse of the staff, we decided to leave. We refused to pay the bill, in full agreement with the owner, who, acknowledging the poor service and the unbearable situation, granted our request. We didn't dine and found our New Year's Eve party ruined. This place is definitely worth avoiding.

25/04/2025: Per quanto riguarda il cibo ed il servizio nulla da eccepire. Il problema sorge quando si arriva alla cassa dove la proprietaria calca la mano sul conto in maniera vergognosa...4 fettine di pane da 1 cm ciascuna 6 Euro...una grappa 9 euro...una liquirizia 5 euro . Vino che puoi acquistare a 9 euro te lo fanno pagare 24 euro...X me questo si chiama furto...Non mi vedrete mai più..

14/04/2025: Cibo di buona qualità, servizio cortese ma prezzi davvero esagerati. Il caffè costa 4 euro ed il pane 3...da lì si parte.

08/11/2025: The first thing I noticed as soon as I entered after a few years of not coming is the renovation of the place, which, in my opinion, has made the osteria lose its character. Now it feels half elegant restaurant, half osteria: for example, some of the chairs are modern, others are classic straw chairs. I'm also struck by the fact that, on a Saturday night, there are only three of us, whereas in the past the place was full. While waiting for the other diners, we went to the bathroom and found both the women's and men's bathrooms dirty: they definitely hadn't been cleaned before the evening, given that there were five people at the tables before us. The dishes served promptly were good, and the first courses were plentiful. The prices are a bit high for an osteria: appetizers €11-12, first courses €13-14, desserts €7, a bottle of house wine €14. Parking is a bit of a problem... only along the street (Via di Pietralata) with some spaces that aren't exactly regular.

04/08/2025: Mangiato pizza e supplì ,buoni mentre la gricia e da rivedere. Servizio buono e veloce . Trattoria dove hanno una buona scelta di carne e viene servita anche con la piastra calda, buon servizio

01/07/2025: Sono stato per la prima volta all'osteria del parco di cui uno dei titolari è Claudio Ammendola l'attore. Infatti ci sono alcune foto all'interno del locale. Ho mangiato una amatriciana eccellente. Personale gentilissimo. Ancora complimenti alla prossima.
