14/03/2026: I have to say that under this new management, the restaurant is a cut above the rest. The staff is very kind and helpful. I ate really well, rediscovering those traditional Roman dishes of the past, and the meat was truly tender and flavorful!!! The bill was affordable. I recommend it to everyone. Congratulations guys!

27/01/2026: Rude and disrespectful owner… the chat confirms it… I kindly asked if there was room and he replied like this… the place is dirty and expensive as hell… I deeply regret the old management… they are not worthy in fact they closed… shameful… only the waiters remained nice as always and I feel sorry for them…

14/06/2026: We were at the restaurant and were served by a young woman who spoke "Spanish." We thought our order was clear, but when our food arrived, we received two dishes completely different from what we expected. We asked for one of them to be replaced, and when we went to pay the bill, we were charged €18 for one of the dishes. However, there was no dish on the menu with that price. When we asked why, they told us it was the daily special, something they hadn't explained or informed us about beforehand. We believe they should have clearly stated that it was the daily special and its price before taking our order.

14/06/2026: Reviewing the restaurant only: The service was awful! They don't like Brazilians. They threw our plate on the table. There's a skinny, short waitress who is super rude!

08/04/2026: A very nice place that looks like you're going to have a great time and eat very well, but that's not the case. Poor service, unprofessional, slow, we felt neglected. The quality-price ratio is very unbalanced, and the overall experience was disappointing. A bad feeling and overpriced for what we got. A shame.

02/06/2026: What a treat to find this little gem Trattoria Scavolino in Rome. We sat outside on one of their tables enjoying beautiful food and wine watching people meandering up and down the street. We shared a delicious pasta and mussels and soaked in the atmosphere of Rome at night. What a treat. We will be back. Thank you for the tasty meal and the great service.

29/05/2026: I don't really understand the negative reviews here, this is a cosy place with good food - we had cacio e pepe and spaghetti with meatballs, and these were quite good. When we were there, the staff members were very kind and attentive. Prices are also fair, no surprises on the bill. :)

20/05/2026: I had the best lasagna I've ever had at this place, and the tiramisu was a 10/10. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

18/05/2026: I ordered a Ferrari, but they brought me a Remy Marsin that had already been opened. They spoke as if they were doing me a favor, saying it was a better wine than the Ferrari and they would give it to me for the same price. It was also an extra charge for the bread served as a complimentary appetizer. The food was tasteless and the portion was small.

19/04/2026: Terrible experience... they don't bring the pizzas to everyone's table at the same time, but alternately... so some people eat while others watch. Unbelievable. Never again!!

28/10/2025: Calling it a wine bar is an understatement. I had the pleasure of discovering this place because some colleagues were hosting a dinner on a Friday after work. The place is very well-kept and the atmosphere is relaxing. The background music is just the right volume, allowing us to chat without having to raise our voices. The menu is varied and delicious, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. Even those who, like me, have allergies or digestive issues will find an owner (and chef) who strives to find a compromise without completely changing the dish ordered. Two things worth mentioning: the owners' expertise in recommending wines and their approach to the customer, which makes each course a true treat. An evening worth repeating. Highly recommended, even for a romantic dinner.

07/04/2026: Unfortunately we came across this tavern out of context, a place that was not very well looked after, although kind, the food did not come close to the taste of the carbonara tradition and cacio e pepe, unwatchable, to be avoided, perhaps the old management was good. Too bad

29/03/2026: So disappointed. The food tasted nothing like real authentic Italian food. I am giving a 2 because the staff was very nice.

10/05/2026: I visited it on the occasion of a "Come mamma mi ha fatto" event so I can't comment on the food and service, but the atmosphere is very very nice.

18/04/2026: I booked an aperitif at 6:15 PM. I received a reply 👍. The place opens at 7 PM! No comments.

15/05/2026: I went with friends and I have to say it was excellent. The appetizers were top-notch. I ordered panzanella and fried sweetbreads (which I didn't even know what they were before) and I have to say they were amazing: the panzanella was rich, fresh, and tasty, while the sweetbreads were lightly fried and absolutely delicious. I skipped the first course and went straight to the main course, with the pork shank melting like butter. The tiramisu (deconstructed? So different from usual) with passion fruit was also excellent. A lovely evening and excellent food.

15/05/2026: a place where service employees forget the border of being friendly and over the top uncomfortably friendly. “Bro” betwren eachother shouting or answering like “i have ears to listen - even i dont look at you i hear” or pushing so much -endless- “where are you from?” sorry to say nice location but interesting approach. never again.
