08/04/2026: A very nice place that looks like you're going to have a great time and eat very well, but that's not the case. Poor service, unprofessional, slow, we felt neglected. The quality-price ratio is very unbalanced, and the overall experience was disappointing. A bad feeling and overpriced for what we got. A shame.

10/06/2026: Yesterday I visited this recently renovated restaurant, and it was truly a delightful discovery. Everything has been completely renovated, and you can immediately sense the great attention to quality and detail. The cuisine is certainly one of its strong points: thanks to a truly talented chef, several courses are served in tasting format, designed to offer a variety of well-crafted flavors. The tastings, both in terms of quantity and variety, ensure you leave feeling completely full and satisfied. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and each dish is carefully crafted, balanced, and above all, highly original (I was amazed by the burrata with peaches or the beef with chimichurri sauce). The bartenders also do an excellent job, highly skilled and available to create unique, fresh, and original cocktails—perfect especially in this summertime. The location does the rest: the restaurant is located in a truly evocative setting, nestled between two walls of Roman aqueducts, with warm, enveloping lighting, a relaxed, cool atmosphere, and pleasant background music. A renovated, well-kept place with great potential. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back!!

07/06/2026: The place is ruined! Before, you could have an after-dinner drink at any table, now they reserve you a table at ground level, with uncomfortable chairs and a €20 minimum purchase to get this... I booked for my birthday party for 14 people and they gave me two separate tables (I contacted them again because last year they reserved a single table for me on the veranda, which is now reserved for dinner only). Then I asked to create a single space... a space where I had to blow out the candles on the cake almost on the floor... Above all, the staff were friendly.

20/05/2026: I had the best lasagna I've ever had at this place, and the tiramisu was a 10/10. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

18/05/2026: I ordered a Ferrari, but they brought me a Remy Marsin that had already been opened. They spoke as if they were doing me a favor, saying it was a better wine than the Ferrari and they would give it to me for the same price. It was also an extra charge for the bread served as a complimentary appetizer. The food was tasteless and the portion was small.

15/05/2026: a place where service employees forget the border of being friendly and over the top uncomfortably friendly. “Bro” betwren eachother shouting or answering like “i have ears to listen - even i dont look at you i hear” or pushing so much -endless- “where are you from?” sorry to say nice location but interesting approach. never again.

15/05/2026: I went with friends and I have to say it was excellent. The appetizers were top-notch. I ordered panzanella and fried sweetbreads (which I didn't even know what they were before) and I have to say they were amazing: the panzanella was rich, fresh, and tasty, while the sweetbreads were lightly fried and absolutely delicious. I skipped the first course and went straight to the main course, with the pork shank melting like butter. The tiramisu (deconstructed? So different from usual) with passion fruit was also excellent. A lovely evening and excellent food.

16/07/2026: It was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The beer was quite good and the food was excellent. I personally loved the Margherita Buffalo pizza and the Calcio e Pepe pasta, both fantastic. We also tried the 4 Formaggi pizza and it was delicious. Definitely worth repeating, especially since it's near the Vatican.

02/06/2026: What a treat to find this little gem Trattoria Scavolino in Rome. We sat outside on one of their tables enjoying beautiful food and wine watching people meandering up and down the street. We shared a delicious pasta and mussels and soaked in the atmosphere of Rome at night. What a treat. We will be back. Thank you for the tasty meal and the great service.

07/04/2026: Unfortunately we came across this tavern out of context, a place that was not very well looked after, although kind, the food did not come close to the taste of the carbonara tradition and cacio e pepe, unwatchable, to be avoided, perhaps the old management was good. Too bad

22/02/2026: An absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a big smile and genuine warmth. We immediately felt at ease, almost like we were at home. The service was impeccable: attentive, quick, and always available without being intrusive. We truly felt like royalty; every detail was taken care of to ensure a pleasant experience. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. And all at very reasonable prices, which made the experience even better. A welcoming, professional, and generous restaurant—the kind we wish we saw more often. I highly recommend it!

22/04/2026: We reserved in advance via the internet. The waiter seemed unaware of this, but immediately led us to a table in the otherwise empty restaurant. Meanwhile, the waiter was constantly on the phone via a headset. The waiter was continuously very fleeting in his communication. The food was okay, but nothing special. The pizza base was very hard and the topping very wet. The meat ravioli was very dry. There was no background music playing. There was, however, a TV showing a game show.

03/01/2026: Terrible!!! The experience I had at this restaurant on the evening of December 31st was, in every respect, seriously disappointing and unworthy of a restaurant business, especially on a symbolic date like New Year's Eve. I and sixteen others were forced to leave the restaurant at 10:00 PM, a circumstance completely incompatible with an evening that, by its very nature, should be well-organized, welcoming, and respectful of guests. This imposition caused obvious inconvenience, irreparably compromising the evening. From a gastronomic standpoint, the situation was no better: some dishes emitted unpleasant and unreassuring odors, while the fish-filled ravioli were of undeclared origin and of questionable quality, leaving more than one diner perplexed and concerned. Added to this is the somewhat unusual management of the service, to the point that patrons found themselves heating their own toast on the grill, in a setting that would be an understatement to call improvised. Overall, this was an experience that caused real and significant harm to guests, especially considering the time of year and the legitimate expectations associated with it. Such a level of disorganization and neglect should have no place in a restaurant open to the public. In light of what happened, I cannot recommend this restaurant, hoping that management will seriously reconsider its minimum standards of quality, safety, and customer respect.

03/01/2026: A nightmare New Year's Eve. There's no rating for this shit. I never thought I'd experience an evening like this. Seventeen of us chose this place for our New Year's Eve dinner, paying for an expensive menu that turned out to be a total disaster and a display of disrespect towards the customer. It all started with the appetizers: completely different from what was promised. The excuse? A phantom "gluten-free menu" that none of us ever requested. They served us stale, toasted, and roughly torn bread. The situation worsened with the first courses: we were forced to stop because the food was simply inedible for a human being. We had to spit out the first bite of the mussel dish, which tasted so terrible it was repulsive. The most shocking thing, however, was the staff's reaction. When we tried to have a civilized discussion to see if it was normal to present dishes in that condition, the waiters began to insult us harshly. They called us "rude," yelling that "we should have stayed home instead of going there to bother them." They continued to swear at us with incredible rudeness the entire time. Faced with the unsavory food and the verbal abuse of the staff, we decided to leave. We refused to pay the bill, in full agreement with the owner, who, acknowledging the poor service and the unbearable situation, granted our request. We didn't dine and found our New Year's Eve party ruined. This place is definitely worth avoiding.

18/04/2026: The new buffet option, €12 for lunch and €18 for dinner, is incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality of the dishes offered. The new management is immediately noticeable, from the welcome and kindness to the expert selection of the kitchen staff. They're truly talented. I forgot that breakfast is also very interesting. The coffee is excellent, and the homemade croissants are easy to digest! Welcome back, Cocotte!
