22/01/2025: Siamo capitati in questo ristorante la sera del 22 gennaio, suggeritoci da un ragazzo conosciuto alla ferma del autobus, subito accolti in maniera familiare, il meitre Mario ci ha consigliato i piatti tipici da poter gustare , le nostre aspettative sono state di gran lunga superate dalla bontà dei piatti e dalla bravura di Mario. Se vuoi mangiare bene consiglio di venire qui.

12/01/2025: Siamo stati sabato sera a cena cin amici , il locale é davcero bello e curato , ci siamo fidari del nostro caneriere Paolo , il quale é apparso molto professionale . Abbiamo accettato i suoi consigli , tutto cottimo carbonara carciofi romana coratella . Grazie mille a presto

14/05/2025: We dined here in May 2023 at the recommendation of the hotel clerk when we asked him we just want a hole-in-the-wall, good food restaurant. The clerk and his family dine here, so enough said. He also warned us not to expect any smiles or friendly greeting. in fact, he said it's going to look like they're all angry at having to work while the world is walking by their restaurant. No tables were available as they don't take reservations. They provided a seating arrangement for us, which was near the bathroom and across the tiny path from where they brew their coffees, have their salt/pepper packets (yes, that's right. packets. No bottles, this includes olive oil). My wife and I love these experiences because they are raw and unpretentious. If we wanted fine dining, we would have chosen that, but this was old-school dining with Grandma literally in the back cooking and yelling at the staff. INCREDIBLE food. We walked out paying $40 for our best meal of the week, and that included 2 glasses of wine. We laughed the entire time, and I promise you non a single staff member ever cracked a smile. This was like the "soup nazi" place on Seinfeld. In our 2024 trip, we couldn't coordinate our availability with the restaurant hours, and honestly, we were very dissapointed we couldn't return. We just booked our 2025 trip and have this place on our radar. That's how unique, basic, and delicious this place is. Paper napkins, salt and pepper packets, oil and vinegar in tear-off packets, no friendly staff, Nonna in the back with a stained and soiled apron, yet AMAZING food in the heart of Trastever District!!

11/05/2025: Siamo stati in questa osteria a conduzione familiare,aiutati nella scelta da un gruppo Facebook nel quale aveva delle ottime recensioni,e così è stato. Ragazzi molto simpatici cibo casereccio romano ,rapporto qualità prezzo buono ,noi abbiamo preso 2primi ,2secondi,2contorni 1dolce ,tutto veramente ottimo ed abbiamo speso 58€i. Consigliatissimo

15/02/2025: Valentine's Day dinner... just one adjective: SUPERLATIVE!!!!! Incredible menu, execution of the dishes and top service! Welcoming environment, right music, friendliness and courtesy. Characteristics that are unfortunately not too obvious in catering, the prerogative of those who put their heart into it! If I really had to find a note out of place, I would have ended that type of dinner with a specialty coffee, with complex acidity and structured aromas rather than with a traditional blend, however good.... but mine is professional bias and personal taste! If you are looking for an evening not to forget, this is the right place!

06/06/2025: We had lovely dinner here with friends, mostly locals were there. The waitress was very nice and told us the history of this place. Food was on the level and their homemade wine was just excellent. All in all recommend this place for a good vibe and nice food.

17/05/2025: Far from the crowded tourist streets, da Lucia offers authentic Roman cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is very good. There are tables both indoors and outdoors. The menu is available in both Italian and English. There is parking on the surrounding streets. The place is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is best to make a reservation as the place is relatively small.

05/03/2025: Devo dire che ho mangiato bene, non benissimo ma adeguato alla spesa. Personale super gentile. Quindi ho passato una bella serata fuori da casa e mi sono sentito bene. Penso sia più che sufficiente.

30/11/2024: You don't make cappuccino with coffee resulting from the residue of all the other coffees dripped into a glass that is emptied into the unfortunate person's cappuccino cup... you don't do it, it's not respectful for those who consume it. Respect must be mutual. Shame! I say this to the young bartender, not to the owner and to the establishment that I have willingly frequented for some time and always found myself happy. But this gesture (I really noticed his look intent on not "getting discovered") won't make me go anymore. I'm sorry, and I'm also sorry to write this review, but I do it so that it doesn't happen to other "poor" customers like me...

15/06/2025: Interested by the suggestive location, my girlfriend and I decide to try this new place. Full of expectations, we gladly pay the €15 with a drink included. We chose a mojito and a Negroni. The mojito was completely wrong: non-existent sugar, uncrushed ice and tasteless mint; the only distinguishable flavor was that of Havana. The Negroni was made with a poor gin that gave a very bad aftertaste. We sat outside in the back garden thinking it was a good idea, but we found ourselves covered in resin that was falling from the trees. A negative experience from all points of view.

12/06/2025: We had an aperitif for two for 15 euros each. Leaving aside the waitress's long face, we were treated to this platter with poor quality cold cuts and even worse fried food. The loin was practically black (obviously old). Then we later had two mojitos (9 euros each). We definitely won't be back.

16/06/2025: Très agréablement surpris de trouver cette très bonne adresse dans ce quartier, la clientèle locale ne s’y trompe pas, elle vient nombreuse. La cuisine est assez élaborée, le service attentionné et les prix raisonnables.

30/03/2025: Cena con famiglia. Ordinati 4 primi: 2 carbonare, 1 tonnarello cacio e pepe e un’amatriciana… tutti talmente salati che sembravano cotti nell’acqua di mare! Sicuramente non assaggiati dal cuoco. Impossibile finire la portata. Mai più.

06/03/2025: Era un po che nn andavo penso che sia cambiato qualcosa in cucina ' abbiamo preso delle fettuccine con guanciale e carciofi era immangiabile poi i prezzi esagerati znche il servizio nn e quello di prima forse una giornata nooo maa , anche le pizze piccolissime. Molto Negativa l'esperienzaaaaa

18/02/2025: El tiempo era terrible y Nafplio era tranquilo, pero Cucurucu tiene un ambiente muy acogedor con la decoración y la iluminación. También tuvimos una gran reproducción de música que nos ayudó a relajarnos.

25/04/2025: Per quanto riguarda il cibo ed il servizio nulla da eccepire. Il problema sorge quando si arriva alla cassa dove la proprietaria calca la mano sul conto in maniera vergognosa...4 fettine di pane da 1 cm ciascuna 6 Euro...una grappa 9 euro...una liquirizia 5 euro . Vino che puoi acquistare a 9 euro te lo fanno pagare 24 euro...X me questo si chiama furto...Non mi vedrete mai più..

14/04/2025: Cibo di buona qualità, servizio cortese ma prezzi davvero esagerati. Il caffè costa 4 euro ed il pane 3...da lì si parte.

22/01/2025: We last visited 22 years ago so we arrived with trepidation - had it changed from wonderful memories to dreadful reality? Not at all - food was glorious, service was perfect, everyone was there. We loved it all over again. A perfect Rome restaurant.

26/05/2025: Typical family-run restaurant, good artichokes alla giudia, I had a very good matriciana, my husband an excellent carbonara, saltimbocca alla romana, very tender meat and to finish an exceptional zabaglione mousse, we will definitely return!

29/03/2025: I came on holiday to Rome to enjoy some of the city's typical cuisine. We ordered 3 first courses and one second course. The pasta was al dente, but edible. Immediately afterwards the same dishes were served to another table, with significantly larger portions than ours. The place is a bit shabby, the plaster on the ceiling is peeling off with the risk of it ending up on the plates.
