01/10/2025: Awful. Hard to get a bad meal in Rome, but here it was..

14/09/2025: We're Spanish, and there was a mix-up during our reservation. We arrived when the kitchen was closed, and they still served us and provided excellent food and wonderful service. It was the best food and service of the trip.

11/10/2025: Disgraceful. Atrocious and rude attitude. Half the menu unavailable at 9pm. Watered down wine. Pasta with sauce ladled on top (un-Italian). My kids cook better food. Ran into another table later that night who had the same experience. Stay away at all costs.

08/10/2025: The best by far food we had in Rome! It doesn’t catch the eye, but if you look closer, locals eat there which is very positive, and the staff is very sweet, polite and helpful! The house wine is great also which was also a very pleasant surprise.

21/09/2025: Today I celebrated my daughter's baptism for lunch at Checco's and was thrilled with what they did! As soon as we arrived, despite the confusion (we had to arrange place cards, centerpieces, cake, etc.), they were patient in helping us find the best solution. They organized the aperitif outside on a terrace, a fairly spacious spot. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Everyone was very accommodating and super kind. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

02/08/2025: Conseillé par plusieurs nous y sommes allés assez méfiant mais le régal était au rendez-vous. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique : nous avons commencé par des anchois frits une « tuerie », puis des pâtes au homard un régal et au prix très raisonnable de 25€, et des saltimbocca. De la cuisine faite au moment , avec de bons produits: mériterait une récompense du Michelin

24/04/2025: Scoperto da alcuni consigli online, prenoto per una serata di sabato. Disponibilità al telefono e dal vivo. Impressione buona del locale. Buona la disponibilità dei camerieri. Non male antipasto della casa (anche se di latticini come detto a voce, solo una mozzarellina piccola da dividere in due, nessuna presenza di formaggi). Purtroppo non soddisfacente la carbonara ( non convinceva la cottura dell'uovo e della cremina annessa, passaggio fondamentale per un'ottima carbonara, piatto non facile) e la stessa cacio e pepe troppo tendente alla cremosità che alla lunga disgusta. Non oltre la sufficienza. Prezzi nella norma.

06/07/2025: Questa è la migliore pizza di Roma. Provate la pizza con la bufala. La pizza è ottima e delicata, buona e croccante. La mozzarella è liscia (sembra burrata).Si trova cuore della splendida Trastevere, frequentato da giovani italiani. Enorme buffet di pasta, salse, insalate, riso, piselli. Buono e cordiale.

06/05/2025: Lekkere pizza, snelle service. Ook erg vriendelijk personeel, qua engels top. En de ruimte wordt passend voor je gemaakt. Ook de locatie is erg mooi gelegen! Zeker het proberen waard.

14/07/2025: Gran restaurante, la comida es increíble, tuvimos platos de pasta y una ensalada de gambas. Los desiertos también eran deliciosos, algunos hacían tarta de queso, panna cotta y crema caramelo. El restaurante tiene un ambiente encantador, sin duda recomendaría.

07/07/2025: Excelente lugar para comer bien en un ambiente agradable. Nueva visita a Roma y tercera vez que lo elegimos. Muy buena atención y muy buena preparación de los platos y postres acompañados por buenos vinos.

23/09/2025: Rude staff, in particular, the one with a beard- who has no idea how to treat customers nor talk to a person who he does not know at all!!! He thinks he is talking to his sister: arrogant, very rude and disrespectful. The pizza was cold and expensive too! Not worth anything!!

15/10/2025: Everything was good, but the prices were higher than the usual fraschette, because the place is very touristy. The only thing I was disappointed about, and perhaps I should have mentioned it, was the grilled porcini mushrooms. I asked the waiter what the dish was like, considering it cost 20 euros, and he signaled that it was a substantial dish, but instead they only served me one mushroom. I understand the touristy area, but you're still a fraschette, and above all, you could use a little more consideration for us Italians. The dish was also recommended by the waiter, so you expect a little more... thanks.

10/09/2025: Chose this restaurant to close our Rome trip and also celebrate my mom’s birthday. Staff was made us feel comfortable, and made my mom’s special day so memorable. Food was very good, and staff was very attentive, with an inviting spirit. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it for others! We had burrata with tomatoes, fried calamari, fettuccini Alfredo with truffles and caviar, steak with pate and caviar everything was just absolutely delicious!

09/09/2025: Service was poor, food was wonderful. The waiters outside weren't particularly interested in us. But we came for the fettuccine and weren't disappointed. It melts in your mouth! You'll gladly give up the rest. Very nice inside and out.

04/10/2025: Aggressive and uncomfortable. If you ask for tap water, instead of saying they don't have any, they'll bring you bottled water. It takes character to ask for a table and to serve, but of course it's not fun that way. I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend it.

12/10/2025: It's okay, but I didn't fly. Everything was pretty good, but the tiramisu was disappointing, and the bruschetta with tomatoes was too greasy.

12/10/2025: Nothing special, the waiter doesn't speak Italian, the pasta is way overpriced... the service is very high. Dishes are often returned from the table to the kitchen, overcooked food, the wrong dishes are served at the table... Better to go to a trattoria in the middle of nowhere. There, the food will definitely be more home-made, the waiters will be more attentive, and the prices are very reasonable.

02/10/2025: The grill should be the main course, but unfortunately, that's not the case! The service is chaotic and sometimes lacking. The jazz show was spectacular, unforgettable!

24/09/2025: Typical Roman trattoria. I really liked the open grill and especially the tonnarelli cacio e pepe... Frightening! 👍👍👍👍 As for the rest, the dining room could be improved and spruced up while maintaining the style of a typical Roman trattoria.

27/09/2025: The restaurant has decent prices and small portions. I believe that if a dish is very tasty, its price is justified. A small vitello tonato for 22 euros – yeah, okay, it's delicious! But a chicken salad with lettuce, boiled chicken, and apple slices for 15 euros is overkill, unreasonably expensive. I'll also note that they make a very strong Aperol Spritz here. The interior is nice. We also liked the service, except for the payment: they added bread to our bill, which we had initially refused. After we pointed it out, they removed it, but it left a bad taste in our mouth.

04/10/2025: The owner was extremely rude and he forced me to pay cash (while letting others pay card). Food was ok but not enough to make up for this.

03/10/2025: Good location to people watch. Great food and drink selection. Nice friendly staff. Clean toilets. We have been here a few times over the years and it has never disappointed.
