Al Biondo Tevere In Roma

Last night I took a dip into the Rome of yesteryear, the one where you'd go for fried fish in a simple, authentic restaurant. The Rome where you could actually feel the Tiber flowing beside you. This is Ristorante Al Biondo Tevere: family-run, with a genuine and welcoming atmosphere, filled with smiles, tradition, and flavors that take you back in time. A place where you don't just go to eat, but to experience a piece of that Rome that, fortunately, still exists if you're looking for it. Our seafood dinner was excellent: well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and friendly service. I recommend it not only for the food, but also for the splendid balcony overlooking the Tiber, which, on summer evenings, is truly worth experiencing.

For the menu, it's definitely better to go with fresh ingredients. Slow service from the kitchen.

I dined at Al Biondo Tevere and had a truly excellent experience. The location is unique, with a splendid terrace overlooking the Tiber, creating a particularly charming and relaxing atmosphere. The menu offers excellent traditional Roman dishes prepared with quality ingredients and great attention to flavor. We especially enjoyed the Roman first courses, which were tasty and well-executed, but the service was also distinguished by its friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness. The atmosphere retains the charm of a historic Roman trattoria, while maintaining a warm and family-like atmosphere. Excellent value and a view that makes lunch or dinner even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to savor authentic Roman cuisine in one of Rome's most characteristic areas. I will definitely be back!

Rustic atmosphere, I'd say homey. Spacious rooms. Unfortunately, since we were there in January, I didn't have the chance to dine outside, which offers a splendid view of the Tiber. The dishes are typical Roman, good. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the carbonara. It wasn't one of the best meals I've had in Rome.

I recommend the lasagna and tiramisu.

We stumbled upon the blond Tiber with moderately low expectations due to the reviews. We tried the experience firsthand and are thrilled!! A sunny day, a veranda, chilled wine, and a view of the banks of the Tiber. A break from the stresses of modern life. Young, polite, and helpful service, and impeccable timing! From the appetizers (which could be improved), it was a crescendo, to the amazing first courses (carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe), and exquisite traditional desserts. We'll be back to try the second courses :)
