21/07/2025: Saturday evening in the Ghetto, not very crowded due to the great heat and the various parties around Rome, the ideal time to visit one of the most beautiful districts of Rome. We stopped at the taverna posto romano with Roman specialties. Unfortunately, the coda and the pajata were missing. We ate the gricia with artichokes and sublime coratella. For dessert, the unsurpassable ricotta and sour cherry tart and tiramisu. A big thank you to Massimo, our very knowledgeable and I guarantee very friendly waiter. The classic Roman dish of Rome. Let him recommend you. He will make you eat divinely. If you go, say hello to him.

21/07/2025: On a sunny, hot day, we decided to stop here for refreshments. We'd tried other options on this street, and today we decided to make a change. Massimo welcomed us with attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism, and he really stood out! We opted for excellent artichokes and tonnarelli alla gricia! We'll be back!

31/05/2025: I entered by chance, and without too many pretensions I ordered a "seafood salad" and "sea bass with orange and prosecco". Both VERY good, accompanied by an excellent white wine "breza marina" from the house divina provvidenza. I was pleasantly surprised by everything. The environment is far from modern restaurants all cared for in detail ... after all it is an osteria ... and so it should be!

13/07/2025: We finally managed to experience Zaraza’ a nice local restaurant in Frascati a beautiful city closed to Rome on top of a hill where at sunset you can literally see Rome underneath your sight It was a great experience especially if you want to experience something different which is away from the traditional and commercial places that sell mainly aperitifs, pizza & cold cuts As starters we have tried the homemade porchetta which was delicious however the presentation was a bit poor with some not fresh rocca leaves and 1 cherry tomato As main courses we had the homemade tagliolini with zucchini & zucchini flowers which were mind-blowing and the homemade chicken with tomatoes & red capsicum sauces We were extremely satisfied and impressed by the quality of the genuineness of the food The only note where there should be improvement is definitely the service, great job done by Marco at the beginning with the recommendations, however after serving the main courses we were left alone nobody came to check if we were good or ask for any feedback, they didn't cleared the plates and nobody asked for desserts so we decided to pay & leave The place deserves an 8 out of 10, especially at sunset time

14/07/2025: Don’t waste a precious meal in Rome here. Quite bland food - suspect the pasta isn’t fresh, and the risotto inferior to what can be made at home. Asked to describe the red wine offered, I was informed it was “very strong”. It was an acceptable Pinot Nero, but we were charged ten euros more than we were told the bottle was worth, and the bottle seemed to have already been opened before it came to us. Youll see similar reviews in recent weeks. They don’t want your business. Go elsewhere.

13/07/2025: Extremely average food and disingenuous service. The owner upsold us to a bottle of wine on the basis that it was better value than two glasses and then gave us a bottle that cost 10€ more than the price he had told us. They also charged 3€ for tap water on top of a cover charge of 2€ per person. Nothing about the food or service made this place worth it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

04/06/2025: Frequento questo ristorante regolarmente e ogni volta è una conferma: semplicemente eccellente. Dall’antipasto fino al secondo, tutto è sempre curato nei minimi dettagli. In particolare, la guancia è stata spettacolare: tenera, saporita e cotta alla perfezione. Il personale è sempre cordiale, disponibile e molto attento, creando un’atmosfera accogliente e piacevole. Una nota di merito anche per il vino, consigliato direttamente dal proprietario: una scelta azzeccatissima che ha esaltato i sapori dei piatti. Un posto che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca qualità, calore e una cucina davvero appagante.

21/07/2025: I don't understand the previous reviews. We've been visiting this restaurant with students for years, even decades, and we're very satisfied. When we're here privately, the food is excellent and the service is attentive. You sit outside on the street, which is almost completely deserted, and it's right next to Termini Station. Highly recommended! The price is really reasonable, and the restaurant has been run by Oreste, his wife Iudina, and their daughters for decades. If you enjoy Rome with your family, this is the place for you!

05/05/2025: Our favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh, the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms are the best of all the ones I have eaten in the various Roman restaurants. Very good classic Roman first courses, excellent fresh lamb meat, starters and side dishes always at the top, in short, all of high quality. I also really like pizza, especially the porcini one. To end on a high note, I recommend the tiramisu. I also want to compliment the service and kindness of both Mrs. Raimonda 😉 and the friendly and approachable waitresses.
