A magnificent time in the heart of Trastevere, with exquisite food and good company.

Table booked at 9.00pm for 4 people, we waited outside for 30 minutes then entered the restaurant at 9.30pm, very good typical Roman food, nothing to complain about, friendly and polite staff, unfortunately after ordering we waited for another plenty of half an hour to eat because the restaurant was super full. Despite this, I repeat, the food was very good and the staff were professional. The real flaw of the restaurant is the time you wait to eat. Maybe I'll go back someday...

Characteristic restaurant in Trastevere. At the entrance there is a beautiful display case with meat which entices customers to enter. As soon as I entered I immediately noticed that the restaurant exudes tradition even if it could be a little more refined, you see some cobwebs in the top corners but the display of meat reminds me of the reason why I entered. Spectacular carbonara...even more meat! Exceptional artichokes..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Never stop at the book cover!

Nella bolgia di Trastevere questa trattoria si distingue per dei bellissimi tagli di carne esposti in vetrina come se fossimo a Firenze e per la gentilezza e solerzia del personale nel farti accomodare e farti sentire a tuo agio. Peccato mancassero nel menu le costolette d'agnello a scottadito.

È un locale che frequento da oltre vent’anni, quando era gestito da altri e la sera entravano due musicisti di strada a suonare qualche pezzo con un vero contrabbasso e a chiedere qualche spicciolo. Si spendeva giusto e si stava bena. Il locale è rimasto uguale ( anche in termini di pulizia) ma la qualità è calata e i prezzi sono stratosferici se mangiate la carne alla brace. Peccato,

Io Lui lo adoro e sua moglie anche di più😄 Lui alla brace è un mago! È bravissimo, le sue cotture sono perfette e fa pure i tozzetti con le mandorle che sono meravigliosi!😄 Inoltre sua moglie è la dolcezza e la gentilezza fatta persona e prepara un tiramisù istantaneo che è delizioso e gustoso al palato. Il locale molto caratteristico internamente, ha tavoli anche fuori. Noi abbiamo mangiato la tagliata che era tenera più di un burro e le patate alla brace che si abbinano meravigliosamente. Il conto nella norma per la qualità del pasto, ma da intenditori della carne. L'unica cosa che proporrei e una maggiore quantità di case vinicole con l'attenzione alla qualità, così come lo è la carne che lavorate. Grazie della bella serata a voi
