21/06/2025: 4 PM, middle of the afternoon, terrace was 3/4 empty, we kindly asked if we could sit down to have a couple of drinks, we were nicely greeted with a “no! go to a bar”. I guess it was naive of me to assume they would be interested in some extra business between meals, but from the unnecessarily rude tone of their answer, it feels like they are just not interested in customers…

14/05/2025: The best Cacio and Pepe I've ever had was delicious, in fact, we ordered a third plate! I recommend this place if you're looking for good pasta, very close to the Vatican. The only negative thing we'd say is that they didn't have coffee to finish our meal, but I'll forgive them... the price is very reasonable, and despite it being a busy day in Rome, they served us fairly quickly.

15/06/2025: Siamo stati qui per una cena in famiglia. Abbiamo ordinato due supplì, una amatriciana, due pizze e una fettina panata: tutte le pietanze erano davvero saporite. Il servizio è stato puntuale. La location è davvero carina, con un'atmosfera ispirata all'antica Roma. È doveroso un ringraziamento ad Antonio, il cameriere che ci ha serviti: molto alla mano, spigliato ed efficiente. Assolutamente consigliato! Luca Spinelli

10/04/2025: Rara vez vamos a restaurantes no frecuentados por italianos, pero queríamos una cena rápida cerca de Termini para nuestra última noche en Roma. Quería espaguetis con vongole (almejas) y los precios eran baratos, así que fuimos a Ristorante Santi cerca de nuestro hotel cerca de la hora de apertura. El restaurante estaba casi lleno de turistas chinos y el servicio era lento. Mi marido tiene ternera Marsala y compartimos un tiramisú. Con vino de la casa, agua, y coperto, el total era de 39 euros y la comida era buena para el precio.

06/12/2024: Fuimos a este restaurante dos veces. En ambas ocasiones, la comida era muy buena pero a un precio razonable, y el servicio era excepcionalmente bueno: muy acogedor pero totalmente impropio. En particular, el entrante sauté di cozze (mejillones) era delicioso y el tinto casero muy aceptable (Castelli Marino) tenía un precio de aproximadamente la mitad del precio de vinos similares en otros retaurantes. Hubiéramos ido de nuevo si hubiéramos tenido tiempo. Muy recomendable.

11/06/2025: 3 dishes ordered ,pay €80... you can pay it it is ok. Bread €6(doesn't matter you order or not), and service charge 15%, table fee €6.... This is 30% of dishes.

10/06/2025: Ciao L'Isola della Pizza The food in your restaurant is very good. We tried a wide variety of pizza, pasta, starters, and desserts. There was nothing to complain about. Va bene! What you need to know is that you pay €2 per person for the baked bread (similar to the cover charge). Otherwise, it's hectic, and the service is confusing for us Germans. But please, dear guests, we are here in Bella Italia - you have to allow 2-3 hours for dinner. Enjoy! We enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle and spent two pleasant evenings here. 30/05/2025: As if you’re eating in the owners living room. Simple, authentic dishes and the most lovely owners. A free shot of lemonchello at the end of the meal was the perfect goodbye. Cannot recommend enough!

10/06/2025: Osteria dal nome storico, ma che non ha niente a che vedere con la cucina romana. Insipido il supplì di riso, pollo ai peperoni mezzo crudo e poco sostanzioso (due pezzettini coperti da sugo in cui evidentemente il pollo non è mai passato), contorno portato a parte dopo il secondo. Nonostante ciò, il pollo non ci è stato tolto dal conto, il massimo che hanno fatto è stato offrirci un amaro. Prezzi alti ingiustificati. Locale per turisti stranieri, non certo per turisti italiani. VIA!

05/06/2025: L'insegna e il luogo facevano pensare a un locale tipico romano, ma in effetti è il classico locale per spennare i turisti. Cibo appena normale, porzioni molto scarse, prezzo molto alto. E' stata l'unica delusione del nostro soggiorno a Roma

01/05/2025: Purtroppo la mia esperienza è stata pessima… Innanzitutto quando siamo arrivati i due camerieri (troppo pochi per tutte quelle persone) non ci hanno degnato nemmeno di uno sguardo e li ho dovuti chiamare più volte per avere almeno le bevande e il pane . Quando abbiamo iniziato ad ordinare, a metà delle nostre richieste il cameriere ci ferma e ci dice che ognuno di noi (eravamo in 8) stava scegliendo una cosa diversa e questo non era possibile, quindi abbiamo dovuto adattarci ed in più persone prendere lo stesso piatto (controvoglia); non dico che questo sia sbagliato in assoluto, mi è capitato anche in altri ristoranti, ma ci sono modi e modi di comunicarlo (a volte viene scritto già sui menù) mentre qui ci è stato detto con una sbuffata… Ma la cosa peggiore è stata l’attesa, quasi un’ora! Senza neanche l’accortezza di portare subito un semplice piatto di pasta al sugo per due bambini di quattro anni, che quasi piangevano dalla fame… Le pietanze poi sono arrivate in momenti diversi, quindi alcuni di noi mangiavano e gli altri guardavano… Ciliegina sulla torta, un sorbetto appena portato a tavola è stato rovesciato da un nostro bambino sulla tavola… La cameriera ha sorriso ed è andata via, né stornandolo dal conto e né portandole uno nuovo; non era obbligata naturalmente, ma sarebbe stata una carineria che avremmo molto apprezzato! Visti i lunghi tempi di attesa, invece abbiamo pagato una cosa non mangiata… Ultimo punto, il conto: 70 € a coppia per aver mangiato perlopiù un piatto principale a testa ed un contorno, più vino della casa… Per me è un MAI PIÙ!

28/05/2025: Nella bellissima cornice di ostia antica in borghetto pieno di fiori, questa trattoria (nel senso positivo del termine) offre un accoglienza genuina e discreta. Tutti molto cordiali soprattutto un signore di cui non ricordo il nome. Prezzo adeguato. Voglio tornare di sera e in coppia

20/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto Arianna al Borghetto, in via del forno, nel centro di Ostia medievale per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio. È un posto veramente magico. Si mangia benissimo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto della casa, che, oltre ad altre buonissime petianze, aveva un formaggio veramente squisito. La carbonara è la cacio e pepe superlativi. Oltre a sentirne il sapore, abbiamo percepito l'amore con cui sono preparate. Il tiramisù una vera chicca. Buonissimo. Siamo stati benissimo. Non ultimo il nostro apprezzamento al personale, camerieri gentilissimi e premurosi, in special modo la ragazza. Consigliatissimo.

11/06/2025: We did a pizza-making class at this restaurant. We were a group of 10 people. The girl who explained the recipe spoke good English and took the time to show us step by step. It was a very good experience. We were able to taste our own pizza. I recommend this place.

17/06/2025: I have no idea why this place has so many bad reviews. It’s a hidden gem. It’s a family owned restaurant and has really good food and the prices are also great. I don’t know about second courses but I had pasta carbonara and it was so delicious. My cousin ate a pizza and it was also very thin and delicious. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality. Tiramisu and panna cotta were also really tasty not too sweet. Perfect. Waitress was really sweet too. I highly recommend this place especially if u want pasta or pizza.
