02/06/2025: Abbiamo preso degli antipasti e dei primi . Nulla da dire sugli antipasti che erano buoni , ma i primi che abbiamo preso con mia moglie erano veramente salati, io sono riuscito a mangiare metà della mia cacio e pepe perché affamato ma mia moglie ha lasciato lì tutta la sua carbonara , ho dato anch'io una forchettata ed era veramente salatissima , un peccato perché visivamente i piatti si presentavano bene . I camerieri avevano dei modi scortesi e non ci hanno nemmeno chiesto come mai i piatti fossero stati lasciati lì. Pessimo rapporto qualità/prezzo .

17/03/2025: Locale piccolo e molto accogliente, servizio veloce ed attento, propone piatti romani e piatti di pesce, abbiamo preso un fritto vegetale, degli gnocchi con sugo di spuntature, il cervelletto di abbacchio fritto e l'abbacchio alla scottadito, ed infine uno strudel ed una cassata, tutto veramente squisito. Prezzo anche troppo onesto. Complimenti.

22/01/2025: Se si vuole trovare la cucina romana senza se e senza ma, Domenico dal 1968 a via Satrico è davvero un’opzione irrinunciabile. Prodotti tutti rigorosamente provenienti dal Lazio (compresi i vini e i liquori) per piatti che nella loro autenticità lasciano la clientela davvero soddisfatta. Se andate in inverno chiedete di provare la minestra di broccoli e Arzilla o, se di stagione, i carciofi alla giudia. Ma anche gli altri piatti (di pesce o carne) sono davvero ben fatti. Ottimi il rapporto qualità prezzo e il servizio. Ultimo suggerimento: prenotate altrimenti rischierete di restare a bocca asciutta.

11/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per il compleanno di mio nipote. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il cibo è ottimo e abbondante. Il personale è accogliente e verace e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. E' un locale semplice, ma si respira la genuinità dei proprietari e del loro cibo. Non bisogna essere sofisticati e non bisogna avere fretta. Se avete questi requisiti vi godrete un ottimo pasto, e due piacevoli chiacchiere con il proprietario.

04/06/2025: Frequento questo ristorante regolarmente e ogni volta è una conferma: semplicemente eccellente. Dall’antipasto fino al secondo, tutto è sempre curato nei minimi dettagli. In particolare, la guancia è stata spettacolare: tenera, saporita e cotta alla perfezione. Il personale è sempre cordiale, disponibile e molto attento, creando un’atmosfera accogliente e piacevole. Una nota di merito anche per il vino, consigliato direttamente dal proprietario: una scelta azzeccatissima che ha esaltato i sapori dei piatti. Un posto che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca qualità, calore e una cucina davvero appagante.

05/05/2025: Our favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh, the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms are the best of all the ones I have eaten in the various Roman restaurants. Very good classic Roman first courses, excellent fresh lamb meat, starters and side dishes always at the top, in short, all of high quality. I also really like pizza, especially the porcini one. To end on a high note, I recommend the tiramisu. I also want to compliment the service and kindness of both Mrs. Raimonda 😉 and the friendly and approachable waitresses.

14/06/2025: Truly an experience not to be repeated: we returned to Sora Lella after five years. When we reached the table the waiter told us something new: either we took the menus, priced at almost one hundred euros per person, or we would have to order two courses per person: so we found ourselves forced to eat what we didn't want. We had booked online after being told that there was no other way to reserve a table (among other things I had to pledge my credit card with the sum of €70 for this reservation) and then, instead, I saw that people showed up without a reservation or called by phone and obtained the reservation without the card. Even though we had booked, we found ourselves seated at a table in the entrance hall of the restaurant, with the entrance door wide open and air conditioning that didn't work with over 30 degrees inside. When we protested they responded with impudence that unfortunately it was the fault of the too hot season. In the end we suffered a sauna at the table and spent almost 100 euros for two first courses, two appetizers and a water. Be careful if you ask for bread because they charge €5 and then add the service charge of 10%, in a region where the Regional Law 21/2006 prohibits asking for money for bread. Truly an experience not to be repeated, like many Roman places this restaurant lives only on the income from its reputation and is absolutely not up to its reputation, judging from the experience I had. I will be careful not to return.

Starting with appetizers with porchetta, grilled vegetables, bruschetta, mozzarella, cold cuts and continuing with cacio e pepe, matriciana, carbonara, aubergine parmigiana. Meat main courses with steaks, sirloins, arrosticini and appropriate side dishes... Pizzas of all types cooked well and tasty. Delicious and typical desserts. Free outdoor parking...then...if the places run out... paid lakeside... A piece of advice: book (especially on Saturday evening) otherwise you risk not eating.....and it would be a real shame..... 22/01/2025: I went to eat at this restaurant during a village festival. There was a fixed menu and I must say it was all excellent. From the appetizer to the coffee. Dishes with generous portions and they even made us do an encore. Friendly staff and owner super helpful even for adding a person to the reservation at the last minute, despite the full house. Flagship of the historic center of Monterotondo. Super recommended!
