06/04/2026: We ate there twice, their pizzas are divine and tiramisu to die for!

04/04/2026: This is the restaurant we ate at on our honeymoon with a tour group. The pizza wasn't amazing, but it was decent. The fries were quite soft and tender, and they were great when they were freshly fried. The service was just average. I think there might have been some communication difficulties due to the language barrier.

04/04/2026: After almost 15 wonderful days eating our way through Italy, Da Nino was our first real disappointment. We ordered gnocchi alla Sorrentina and a Caprese salad. Both dishes were very basic and, honestly, just not good. The gnocchi lacked flavor, the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and the Caprese was average at best — nothing like the incredible quality we had been enjoying throughout the trip. The restaurant feels very commercial and tourist-oriented. While the service was okay, the whole experience lacked soul and that special touch you find in authentic Italian trattorias. It genuinely felt like eating in a generic Italian restaurant anywhere else in the world — not in Rome. The Monti neighborhood and surrounding areas have dozens of much better options nearby. There are plenty of restaurants offering top-quality Italian food with fresh ingredients and real flavor at similar prices. Verdict: I cannot recommend Da Nino. With so many excellent choices around, it’s definitely worth skipping this one and going somewhere else. Also is EXPENSIVE for the kind of meal they served.

03/04/2026: I stopped in with my family for pizza because the sign said it was "made with love and passion." The pizza was very disappointing, completely bland and flavorless. The dough was heavy and hard to digest. Poor table service...no oil, salt, or pepper. A negative experience. I definitely won't be returning.

20/01/2026: A lovely place in the heart of Marino's historic center. It's always a pleasure to return to eat here. We hadn't been there in years, and we returned on Saturday with a couple of friends who are regulars. The pizza is truly excellent, classic Roman pizza, thin and crispy. The quality of the ingredients is good. The homemade suppli are also excellent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, as is the rest of the family-run atmosphere, making you feel truly at home. The first courses are also excellent. Good value for money, and the desserts are also really good. We opted for the tiramisu and the pear and chocolate cake, which were truly delicious. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: The place is very nice, the staff is friendly. I ordered pizza with others, but after a long wait and a prompt reply, I was informed they were out of an ingredient. We agreed on a change. Given the mix-up, they offered me the pizza for free. I thank the owner for this, but I think they have a problem with the oven. The pizza was well-cooked on the edges but undercooked in the center, which is a shame because the toppings were good. I really enjoyed the tiramisu dessert.

05/04/2026: A very negative experience: after ordering our appetizer and first course, the waitress invited us to order the second courses later, but by the time we requested them, the kitchen was already closed, leaving the table (seven people) without a second course. All they needed to do was let them know that the kitchen was closing! Meanwhile, they had us order a second bottle of wine for €42 to accompany a dish we never got. The waitress was rude and disorganized, and she even lied about what had happened. The dishes were disappointing (the first course was inedible) and the service was overall terrible.

After ordering our appetizer and first course, we were invited to choose our second courses later; however, by the time we did, the kitchen was already closed, leaving all seven of us without a second course. Meanwhile, we were also forced to order a second bottle of wine for €42, intended to accompany a dish we never got. Unprofessional service: the waitress was disorganized and rude, even denying the incident to the manager. The food was also subpar, with a practically inedible first course. Overall, poor management and an experience not to be repeated.

14/07/2025: This was a delightful restaurant very near Roma Termini. The staff was fantastic and so was the pasta. My grandson had their caccio e pepe twice! He said it was the best!

10/11/2025: I wasn’t planning to go anywhere, but I got a bonus on a website (you can see it in the photo) and decided to treat myself a bit. Ordered pasta — and it turned out to be the perfect choice! Simple dish, but the taste was on point.

03/11/2025: Beautiful location, large outdoor spaces where you can spend the day with games for the kids. It's a shame the food quality doesn't live up to the location. Small portions, high prices, and poor quality. A real shame.

18/02/2026: A group of five stopped for lunch while visiting Ariccia. I must say, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were greeted just like at a classic Roman osteria, with their warmth and helpfulness. The lunch was truly excellent, the portions generous, and the bill more than fair. I highly recommend a stop at "Dar Compare."

06/04/2026: I've been to La Carovana restaurant, and to say it's a great experience is an understatement. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, the friendliness is top priority, and the food is exceptional. I'm celiac and had no problems, as they have a special gluten-free kitchen. The incredibly kind lady let me try her homemade Neapolitan pastiera. To say it's good is an understatement; try it and believe it. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars, and that would be too few! Truly, highly recommended.

06/04/2026: I spent Easter Monday lunch at this restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. My boyfriend and I ate everything on the daily menu, featuring incredibly fresh and delicious fish. They also have many gluten-free options, including desserts. They also make pizza with fried fish for dinner. The staff and service were quick and friendly. I recommend this place to everyone.

30/03/2026: Complete rip-off: they add a 20% service fee to the bill which is completely illegal. They are also extremely pushy to sell you the most expensive wine and extras, service is unfriendly and condescending, food is disappointing and freshness and hygiene questionable. Overall strongly advised to avoid this place. Has so many 1 star ratings that I don't understand how this can have a 4.3 on average...

29/03/2026: This place is a total rip off. Their prices are very high for very average food. A tourist trap. Avoid at all costs. They charge 6E to just sit down and then the waiter is rude when expecting a tip. Terrible place. Avoid.
