Highly recommend. The washroom is 12/10. Prices reasonable. Worth the walk away from the busier area.

5/5 stars – An absolute highlight in Rome! We went there as a family and were completely thrilled. To put it simply: They serve the best carbonara I've ever eaten – technically perfect and incredibly delicious. But what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service. Our waiter was a true professional: attentive, warm, and his wine recommendation was a perfect match for the meal. You can immediately tell that the coordination between the kitchen and service is seamless. Despite the top-notch quality, the wait times were pleasantly short.

For those looking for alternatives or who enjoy Portuguese food, this is a good option. Dishes like cod, octopus à lagareiro, etc., are a great way for Portuguese people or those familiar with Portuguese cuisine to satisfy their cravings for our food. The cod fritters are homemade and well-balanced, with neither too much potato nor too much cod.

I went for dinner with my girlfriend The restaurant was empty when we entered but quickly started to fill up. We really liked the Portuguese food. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the staff are friendly. Try the Francesinha.

Authentic Portuguese cuisine, with some Roman accents. Friendly staff, and the owner is very attentive to customer satisfaction. Exceptional food and generous individual portions. This time I had the cod with natas and cod assado. Spectacular flavor! Worth every euro for a wonderful experience in the heart of Italy. Thank you

Authentic Roman cuisine! (Not touristy fare) Really good! I had a pizza and a matriciana, something truly ornate! It's hard to find a restaurant like this in the city center these days. Everyone rips you off with the €10 cover charge and gives you carbonara with cream. This is 100% authentic Roman cuisine. With a touch of Portuguese cuisine too, as it's a Portuguese destination. Congratulations guys, and keep up the good work!!

Tasty Portuguese and Italian food with no coperto/table service charge! We ordered a salad with cured beef/melon/greens/walnuts, a spaghetti with clams/shrimp/mussels, a spaghetti with crispy onions and pork (like carbonara?), a veal dish with mushrooms and rice and fries, a mixed meat skewer, and tiramisu for dessert. One dish came with a side of fried rice. Another dish came with a bowl of french fries as a side. We had ordered risotto instead of the spaghetti dish with onions and pork, but it tasted so good that we didn’t mind. We’ve had undercooked pasta at some restaurants in Italy (with white still in the center!), but this pasta was perfectly al dente. The portions were healthy sizes and came on big plates, so we found it funny that there was not enough room for the free bread! They served us a bag once we had finished a few dishes so that we could mop up the sauce.

13/05/2026: We went to the trattoria based on recommendations we received for good value for money, which is true. We faced a short queue, but the friendliness of the employee who greeted us made up for it. We sat outside, and the bonus was a view of the Colosseum. We ordered the tomato suppli as an appetizer (a fried rice ball), shrimp risotto, carbonara, and lasagna, accompanied by a liter of house red wine. The best dish was the carbonara, very tasty. The lasagna was very good. The risotto left much to be desired, including the seasoning, but especially because there was an expectation of having some shrimp in the dish and only 1 came. We found this very disappointing. They don't charge a cupperto or a fixed tip, you give what you think is best. The employees are really very kind and friendly and do everything for good service. It's the restaurant's biggest highlight. Regarding the environment, I deducted one star because of the bathroom, as there was only one stall available for everyone (creating a queue) and the tap didn't work (they connected a hose to a tap below to turn it on when washing hands). I believe they could have paid more attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom and to this tap issue.
13/05/2026: We loved everything, but the best thing was their house wine. One of the nicest we drank on this trip!
