30/05/2025: An enchanting location. Too bad the experience was completely compromised by an excessively salty carbonara, so much so that it covered every other flavor. From the reviews it seems to be a recurring mistake, and it's a real shame.

27/05/2025: The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful, the food very good. We had lunch and it was all very pleasant. The artichokes and the winemaker are out of this world.

22/06/2025: Family-run restaurant. Very welcoming place with outdoor terrace. Very kind staff, the owner helped me with thermometer and medicine because my son had a small fever. Generous portions! I recommend going there.

20/06/2025: He asked us €70 which then became €60 to eat frozen fish and fish skewers bought at the discount store, it seemed really excessive to me. I do not recommend it.

24/05/2025: Pleasant surprise, my husband and I ate a cuoppo, an excellent fish soup and a gricia with crunchy artichokes, very good wine, water and coffee served with kindness and speed. A more captivating location would certainly not have allowed a bill below expectations!!!!

03/05/2025: Informal and not very welcoming environment, but characteristic in its Roman nature. Good and typical food of Roman cuisine. However, the staff is not very attentive and unfriendly, but overall the service is sufficient for the too homely environment.

02/06/2025: A historic Roman tavern in the heart of the ghetto with typical and authentic dishes of traditional Roman cuisine. Without too many pretensions, the atmosphere of the tavern is very welcoming thanks to the large spaces, recently whitewashed walls and the tables spaced apart from each other. The first and second courses are abundant and very good. The pastas are homemade. The appetizers and snacks are served in small portions but of excellent quality. Bread and oil are not lacking. The sweets and desserts remain average. The professionalism and courtesy of the restaurant staff should be considered. Excellent place to spend a couple of hours after a long walk in the historic center of Rome.

31/05/2025: An experience to do for those who love the traditional Roman restaurant. Cacio e pepe "only" decent (the mint recommended by the waiter gave it an original touch but it was definitely too much to cover the taste of the cheese), amatriciana normal (maybe a little too much onion!), good arrosticini. It was recommended to us as a restaurant with an amazing quality/price ratio. Long awaited for the dishes.

09/05/2025: abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso l'anno scorso per far pernottare alcuni invitati per il nostro matrimonio. Da loro abbiamo avuto un ottimo feedback sia per la pulizia della camere che per la cucina. A distanza quasi di un anno siamo diventati clienti fissi. Il cibo è veramente ottimo sia se si sceglie La pizza che la carne. Gli antipasti grandi con prodotti di qualità. Il servizio impeccabile. consigliato vivamente.

26/04/2025: È un piccolo angolo di paradiso immerso nel verde. Da qualsiasi parte ci si giri non si vedono palazzi. Solo colline. Il casale è ristrutturato da non molto e si presenta benissimo. La cucina è di ottimo livello e il servizio attento ai particolari. C'è la possibilità di pernottare. Ci sono campi da padel e piscina (aperta da giugno). Ottimo Complesso. Complimenti

27/06/2025: I like to talk about this place again, because every time it is a great satisfaction for me to bring new people who punctually give me the same unfailing compliments. Tonight I invited the entire Choir of Santa Maria Ausiliatrice with our beloved Parish Priest Don Valerio and GIULIO the owner treated us with kid gloves, the entire Team from the kitchen to the excellent table, a fabulous menu, from Cacio e Pepe to Amatriciana to "scarpetta" and a grilled meat on a bed of roast potatoes and chicory sautéed in a pan to die for, to finish zeppole with melted chocolate and sorbet. What more could you ask for? A TRUE LEGEND, NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!

08/06/2025: Truly a discovery... a restaurant that in the summer has a pleasant outdoor garden where you can eat delicious Roman cuisine. The staff is attentive and friendly and the price is average.

06/06/2025: We have been coming to Calice d'oro for a while now and have always had a good time. Excellent fish-based food, excellent service and it is very nice to eat outside in the restaurant's garden in the summer. Highly recommended!!!

24/06/2025: I'm sorry to have to review this way but my experience was not pleasant. We ordered a bottle of white wine and when it arrived it wasn't cold, they brought us ice but the first glass was still not drinkable. Then we ordered a platter of cold cuts as an appetizer and while we were still finishing eating, with the food on our plate two waiters came to ask us if they could take it away, when we said "No" they told us that they already had the first courses ready and in fact they already had them in their hands. We found ourselves with the first courses placed on the table while we still had to finish the appetizer. Obviously we were forced to leave the cold cuts there for fear that the first course would get cold. TERRIBLE SERVICE, they didn't even apologize to us given their obvious mistake. NEVER AGAIN :-) We reported it at the cashier and guess what? Not even a €1 discount.

24/06/2025: Historic trattoria in the Vittoria district (Prati-Balduina) of Rome. The environment is very simple, nice and welcoming but still refined. The best rating goes to the super qualified and very kind waiting staff. Typical dishes of the Roman culinary tradition with satisfactory results.
