29/03/2025: The place is fine, but something is missing. As if management were abandoned to itself. Nowadays people go there but a little more attention is needed. To give an example, calofano pasta is very good... but last time I really put too much chilli and not even a gesture of saying I'll make it again or I'll change it for you or I don't know.... There is therefore a lack of customer focus and experience. Overall the place has a unique location!

29/03/2025: Typical Roman trattoria in the most beautiful part of Garbatella (and it's not impossible to park 😅). Good food, a little spicy perhaps but you just need to know that, and homely and kind service. In short, a great experience thanks also to the legendary Mario.

16/03/2025: First time for me, and maybe also the last... the two stars for the service is not for the wait staff who was very nice and impeccable but the waiting time for the pizza... 2 HOURS!! Then it arrives and the children no longer ate because they were no longer hungry, the pizzas apart from the seasoning which is the only thing that makes the difference the pizza is very thin and crunchy but nothing sensational or rather enough to justify the two hour wait. With a room of 40 people, 3 pizzas come out at a time, it all adds up. The costs? it's not cheap at all... 8.50 for a dessert is a lot... and not suitable for families with children

09/03/2025: Il Giardino è sempre una garanzia. Siamo andati una sera a cena, io e il mio compagno con il bambino e mio cognato, in mezzo alla settimana. Eravamo tutti stanchi, dopo una pesante giornata di lavoro e sapevamo che Il Guardino è sempre aperto, anche nei giorni feriali. Hanno sempre i classici della cucina romana l, anche se nel menù non sono segnati, in aggiunta ad un menù stagionale che varia sempre. Devo dire, tutto ottimo! Ci siamo stati altre volte e ci torneremo, perché si mangia sempre bene, anche la pizza è ottima. Il locale è diviso su più livelli, con più ingressi, e ogni sala ha una sua caratteristica ed è veramente bella e accogliente. Consigliato.

17/04/2025: A small family owned restaurant with truly authentic Roman cuisine. A real gem. We had Amatriciana pasta, fried artichoke, and Saltimbocca alla Romana. These were true culinary masterpieces. Simple food ,prepared in an authentic way! The tastes and textures blended to perfection. Absolutely recommend!

25/03/2025: We have been in Rome for 6 days and eaten at Al Simeto tonight, the food was delicious the pizza was the best we have had during our stay, wish we had found this place earlier, we were staying just around the corner, would definitely recommend.

22/03/2025: Wonderful Osteria in the historic center. The cod nuggets are something worth returning to. The crunchiness of the breading and the cod are enhanced by the sweetness of the red onion. I had never tried anything similar in Rome. Cacio e Pepe very good and super courteous service. A place more for special occasions than for a dinner with friends

23/03/2025: Pleasant and familiar environment. The place is historic and welcoming and you wouldn't think it has a very particular history behind it. The service is very good, the food is characteristic Roman but it could be improved. Invited for a birthday so I can't indicate costs. The kitchen was unable to prepare a table service that could satisfy diners. 8 people at the table and dishes for 5 or 6 people, so some had to divide how much at the table to allow all the guests to taste the dishes

30/03/2025: Of all the restaurants where we had lunch or dinner, if there is one to remember it is here, very good meals, perfectly cooked dishes in a pleasant room in the annex, very quiet and without drafts, very professional waiters, no bad surprises on the bill unlike the neighbor opposite "Spaghetto" who is the world champion of rip-off (Look at the reviews before) Congratulations to the entire Otello team

28/03/2025: Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. We ate bruschetta with tomatoes and caccia del pepe. The portions are relatively small, tasty but not more. There were two of us and together with a bottle of water we paid 26 euros.

16/03/2025: We took a mixed starter, simple with a few slices of cured meats, two olives and an artichoke in oil. As for the first courses, we took a carbonara, completely liquid, and a cacio e pepe, dry. We immediately ordered two glasses of wine, which arrived well into the dinner as we were told that they had no glasses available at the moment.

15/03/2025: We went for the first time for lunch, after finding it on the internet and reading the reviews, we wanted to try it. The room is large, clean, bright, the waiters professional and kind. We took mezzamaniche alla carbonara, bucatini all'arrabbiata (I had asked to use them instead of penne), Roman tripe, chicken with peppers, sautéed chicory, Roman artichoke and fried courgettes. Pleasant surprise: everything was delicious!! Genuine cuisine, abundant dishes and good prices! I recommend and we will definitely be back.

04/04/2025: Hi everyone, we organized a hen party for my aunt on April 2, 2025 and it was a crazy evening. The place is very nice and clean and you feel a bit at home. The service was impeccable, everyone was very helpful, kind, professional and very polite; not to mention the dishes, very very good. The cherry on the cake was Emanuele who takes care of the karaoke, a joking, friendly, empathetic and above all very professional person. We had such a good time that we booked for both Wednesday 9th April and Easter! If you are looking for a top-notch inn you have found the right one. Then there is Silvia the owner, an exquisite person in every way.

24/03/2025: Fantastic place, great quality food, very fair prices, excellent service. Beats the competition in this area hands down, I highly recommend it
