04/06/2025: I was in this restaurant last night with my family and it was a really pleasant surprise, the atmosphere was welcoming, quiet, reserved despite being in Trastevere and in addition the guys who served us were very nice and polite. Excellent food both in taste and presentation of the dish. Advantageous prices, I recommend it!

12/10/2025: A small, family-run trattoria like those of yesteryear. From appetizers to dessert, there's no way you can't be won over by their dishes. Casual, friendly service, with genuine interaction, unlike at Michelin-starred restaurants. Don't leave without trying the amatriciana (but also carbonara, gricia, cacio e pepe, risotto with cream of scampi, suckling pig, and roast beef).

20/05/2025: Piacevole scoperta in un quartiere ancora vivibile e poco conosciuto. Locale molto spazioso con ampio spazio esterno. Atmosfera vivace e familiare da osteria di quartiere. Personale amichevole e spontaneo. Cibo curato e di buona qualità. Sicuramente ci tornerò in una prossima sera d’estate.

12/10/2025: For me, one of the best pizzas in Rome. Neither thin nor thick, but somewhere in between. The appetizers are also good. The acoustics in some rooms could be better; it's best to eat outside or on the left as you enter. The food, however, is excellent.

11/10/2025: Pizzas are cheap but pizzas are not good… having hard time to cut them cause the bottom is too big and hard. Not like what a pizza should be. Ordered 1/2 liter wine from the house and received one liter without pardon. Wine is really bad. Waitress was not experienced and not helpful, she made a lot of mistakes…. Even tried to charge us for a liter while she already replaced it with one liter. And the wine was really really bad so we didnt drink it. You better go to Il Ritrovo San Giovanni around the corner… better pizzas and Italian food/amosphere.

03/10/2025: Two fried appetizers, breaded lamb with a side of fried artichokes, a plate of house fries, two crème caramels, two bottles of water, a coffee, bill 121.50. You decide, two stars for the price, everything else was fine.

22/07/2025: The only thing I could improve on: the prosciutto is served on a tray with ice, and then everyone takes their portion and places it on their plate without ice. Here, however, today they served my prosciutto with a mountain of ice underneath, right on my plate. With all that ice, it was difficult to separate the flesh from the shrimp and scampi.

06/09/2025: Hello super golden carbonara, first of all the wait is too long. In fact, we waited 2 hours for some pizzas, it's shameful, then there was even raw pasta in the fries, so be more careful when preparing the dishes and don't get confused between pasta and fries. Good pizzas but not excellent. Thank you and have a good evening.

20/08/2025: Very convenient location at the highway exit. The food is good, a little more expensive, and the service is friendly. I've tried it several times and recommend it for a quick stop.

03/10/2025: The waiters and owner were very friendly. The atmosphere is traditional, worth a visit at least once! The antipasti platter is excellent, the gricia is excellent, but the carbonara is a shame, as it's too peppery and salty. €22 per person for a mixed appetizer, first course, water, wine, coffee, and amaro—more than reasonable!

29/09/2025: We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and overall had a pretty good meal. The appetizers were truly tasty and well-prepared, but I wasn't entirely impressed with the traditional Roman first courses. The bill was reasonable and in line with our order. A pleasant place for a simple, informal dinner.

03/10/2025: Very good food and very nice staff. Great daily specials, they actually give very good recommendations of what's more tourist-y and which dishes are actually very tasty and what goes well together depending on what you're looking for. All the dishes we ordered were very good.

02/10/2025: Wow, we really enjoyed it! Excellent service, homely Italian feel Authentic old restaurant with a nice atmosphere! We ordered lamb chops and cacio a pepe pasta and tiramisu for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. Great prices. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone coming to Rome🫶

18/10/2025: Friendly and professional service, nice atmosphere even if it's closed off... the dishes are disappointing compared to when I came years ago... the Jewish-style artichokes are cold and not very crispy, the grilled meat could have cooked a couple of minutes longer... the bill is exorbitant for two artichokes, two meat main courses, a bottle of wine... 105 euros... we're not there yet

18/10/2025: We ate there on Saturday last week. Expensive - 50 euros for a meal. The food is disrespectful to the customers. Recommend not going near on Saturday.

03/10/2025: Even though nothing seemed exceptional to me, I think it's fair to say that the food in this historic Testaccio restaurant isn't bad, but the price paid (70 euros, including tip) for 2 starters, 2 first courses and a 375ml local wine is, in my opinion, a bit high.

01/10/2025: A traditional trattoria serving traditional Roman cuisine. I went specifically for the rigatoni with pajata, which I confirm is very good. The menu features all the traditional Roman dishes, with a special focus on the quinto quarto (stuffed pork shoulder). Service is a bit slow but very attentive. Good value. Worth a try.

08/10/2025: I was recently in Rome and felt right at home. Very welcoming place. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Everything very clean. Plus, the lady told me the story of how the restaurant originated from the wine shop... a piece of history... 😍 I highly recommend visiting it ✨

18/09/2025: The mixed fried fish was excellent, and the first courses were good. I ordered pasta alla Gricia, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, and carbonara. We didn't get to the second courses, but they looked good. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, but everything was fresh and good.
