11/11/2025: I'll start by saying I don't usually leave reviews, but I came here for dinner with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. The bucatini all'amatriciana was perfect, not to mention the meat for two in balsamic vinegar, which was out of this world. The waiter, Cristian, treated us very well; he's truly the best waiter we've ever encountered. His 30-plus years of experience really make themselves felt, and he gave us an unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: The food was very good, and the service was very attentive. The only negative point is that the benches against the wall are extremely uncomfortable, especially the backrests.

09/11/2025: The welcome was beyond poor; we were clearly bothering them. The meal: a four-seasons pizza, a quarter of an artichoke, and a shrimp dish with fried calamari that was clearly served multiple times! I very rarely leave negative reviews, but this restaurant is a real tourist trap. Avoid it!

04/11/2025: My wife and child and I had our last dinner here. We expressed our intolerance to pork and alcohol, and they were very welcoming and made suggestions. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms was excellent, a must-try. The margarita was good; we've had better. The atmosphere is a great place to experience a true Italian restaurant. The waiter was an elderly Italian gentleman and attentive. If you're ever in the area, definitely stop by. Thank you.

08/11/2025: We arrived intending to order the Tourist Menu, but it wasn't available. We ended up ordering pizza to save money. The prices aren't cheap at all, and the pizza isn't the best. Spent €80.00 for 4 people. Pizza, drinks, and a portion of tripe.

07/11/2025: Everything was excellent, typical dishes, tasty and at the same time light. Personally, I had the meatballs in tomato sauce, tasty and very "juicy"! I also had a chestnut dessert off the menu and since I'm "a chestnut enthusiast" I took the opportunity to ask the owner what dessert it was? I think it was a chestnut mousse... what was it made of? Thanks!

26/07/2025: Trovato grazie a The Fork è situato nel quartiere FLEMING e dispone di un grazioso giardino interno. La proposta culinaria è diversa da quella classica ma non mancano i piatti della tradizione. Ottimo il pollo Thai. Buona la Matriciana e discreto il cous couscous, forse un po troppo asciutto. Professionali e simpatici i due ragazzi dello staff. Carta dei vini da rivedere e prezzi, al netto della promozione di cui ho fruito, forse un po'troppo alti. Cmq si vede la capacità e la voglia di fare dei ragazzi che ci hanno servito e in definitiva mi sento di promuoverlo e consigliarlo, anche per la creatività dei piatti proposti.

19/09/2025: Special because you don't have to book when you arrive if there is room you come in otherwise you wait at 9.15pm who is inside eats who is outside GOODBYE is the only rule for the rest you eat a lot and well and you pay little

16/09/2025: Everything is delicious, very reasonably priced, and the portions are generous and traditional, homemade. Highly recommended!!

21/10/2025: Generous portions, yet so tasty that you can even grab something from your neighbor if he's distracted. I had zucchini blossoms, carbonara, beer, and tiramisu. This is my second time here; last time, I also had the peppered fillet steak. I want to go back soon to start all over again.

21/10/2025: 5 stars all the way. My family and I have been here twice and we love it. Really shocked how its not rated all around as 5 stars, the food and service and wines are incredible. Great prices on all the food and the wine is amazing... I think they even make it themselves which is why its priced so well. Great value, 100% worth coming for dinner!

27/11/2025: AVOID! Matriciana was one of the most recommended spots I found in Rome through serious food pages, not influencers, so I arrived with real expectations. We even came from Brazil with a reservation already made. Nothing prepared me for how disappointing it would be. We were seated outside, freezing, because the heaters barely worked. The service was messy and the waiters were short with everyone. Before the pasta even arrived, a bug fell into our table and the waiter didnt care. The calamari fritti was not good for the price, and then the real shock: the carbonara and the rigatoni with oxtail. Both took ages, and when they finally reached the table they looked and tasted like airplane meals. Dry, cold, tiny, bland, completely lifeless. These are basic Roman dishes and they were some of the worst versions I’ve ever been served. We asked for replacements, and what came back was nearly identical. I left honestly confused about the restaurant’s fame. There is nothing here that shows quality, care, or even the basics done right. You will eat far better in small, simple places around the city. One of the worst meals I’ve had in Rome. Not recommended.

26/11/2025: If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff was terrible. I thought it would be different from what people wrote here. The wait wasn't worth the price. I wouldn't come back. It's a shame to wait over 30 minutes, to have people served before you, and to be ignored unless you ask. It's a shame to have wasted time waiting for this restaurant instead of exploring Rome.

19/11/2025: A leading restaurant for value! Based on the premise (a €15 seafood menu with spaghetti with mussels and grilled sea bream), I was curious to try this place, but I never would have imagined such quality. Well, yes, because besides the unbeatable prices, the quality and quantity are also excellent (generous portions). We also tried a pork shank menu and a ricotta and Nutella tart for dessert. Everything was truly delicious.

15/11/2025: Great for a quick business lunch. Affordable set menu. But you can also order à la carte. A good place.

19/10/2025: We often get takeout pizzas. Excellent product quality. Even the fried foods are delicious; you can tell they're made with love! We'll also try the restaurant.

18/10/2025: Two hours for two fries and a pizza.

02/11/2025: Slow service, and the pizza arrived freezing cold. They brought us half of what we ordered. For a pizza and a platter with one slice each for a table of four, water, and focaccia, which was supposed to accompany the cold cuts, which arrived after the pizza... €27 per person.

28/10/2025: Visited after some google searching for a place to eat on our last night. Staff were amazingly friendly and working hard to accommodate our lack of Italian language skills. Suggested menu items helping us translate and were nothing but kind and helpful. Food was great, fast service and good quality.

28/10/2025: A great place to celebrate something or just enjoy a leisurely meal made with good quality and fresh ingredients. Don't go if you're in a hurry. We made the mistake going on a school night and left the restaurant past midnight. There aren't many vegan or vegetarian options on the menu but if you ask the waiter they are happy to accommodate. Just have this one photo because forgot to take others but the lobster pasta dish was divine. Also the soufflé dessert (can easily share for two people).

24/10/2025: This place is phenomenal. Was super impressed by the service, setting and well thought out menu. Went with my wife for a dinner for two on a Tuesday and was treated to an exceptional meal and bottle of Barolo. Big fan, will come back when I am around in December. Complements to the team who runs the place.

05/12/2025: A typical restaurant serving products from the Castelli Romani area. The porchetta was, as usual, very good and tender. The other appetizers were also noteworthy, especially the stewed beans. I tried several first courses, including cacio e pepe (excellent); wild boar ragù (good, but I prefer it with a little sauce); and the carbonara wasn't my cup of tea. A bit chaotic when ordering, and the wait times could be improved. All in all, a good, historic yet renovated fraschetta.

06/11/2025: Nice and well-furnished, with good food and fast service. Quality food and a wide choice of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes with seasonal products. A restaurant recommended by friends. I have to say, it's an excellent restaurant. I recommend it to anyone looking for a no-frills restaurant with authentic flavors. If I had to find a flaw, it's that there are no vintages on the wine list. Otherwise, everything is of good quality. The service and wine list are top-notch. I'll definitely be back.

10/07/2025: Excellent hospitality and customer service, a simple yet impeccable atmosphere. The wine selection was spot on, at reasonable prices. From this management, you'd expect more flavorful dishes, or elegant ones with a touch more flair. Instead, while everything was good, the dishes were fairly standard, almost anonymous. In my opinion, the kitchen could do better than the dining room.

18/10/2025: Uncle Frankie is a historic place, a point of reference for the Aurelio-Boccea area and beyond. Try the very well-cooked and delicious pizzas and the meat-based main courses. The dessert platter is beautiful. The staff is attentive and very friendly.

16/10/2025: I ordered a Margherita pizza and a lasagna online, both arrived very cold despite the fast delivery, the food wasn't even fresh, they were reheated in the microwave, do not order online from this restaurant

28/11/2025: We were treated like typical tourists 😉… Including being charged €6 for bread we hadn't even touched. The staff removed the €6 charge but offered no apology. Overall, a very poor experience at this restaurant.
