21/05/2025: A Perfect Roman Dinner Experience My wife, our baby, and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Le Grotte. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, especially toward our little one. The food was fantastic — we had traditional Roman dishes that were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The pasta was fresh, the wine selection was excellent, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending to a great meal. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, yet relaxed enough for a family. It’s not easy finding a place that feels right for both adults and kids, but Le Grotte got it just right. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Rome!

30/05/2025: Wir sind auf Empfehlung von einem Freund hier gelandet und es war ein wahrer Glückstreffer. Das Essen war grandios. Jedes Gericht war ein Gedicht auf dem Teller. Am liebsten hätten wir uns durch die ganze Karte probiert. Leider waren wir irgendwann mal satt und sehr glücklich und befriedigt. Unser Kellner war herausragend zuvorkommend und freundlich. Leider habe ich mir den Namen nicht gemerkt. Eins steht fest. Wenn wir das nächste mal in Rom sind, werden wir wieder hier einkehren und genießen. Danke für diese gelungene Kulinarik auf dem Teller

Food.... almost embarrassing quality/price ratio, you eat very well and spend very little... fixed menu with first course, second course and side dish really excellent less than a menu of various fast food restaurants. We spent a great evening with friends! Thanks and compliments!

24/04/2025: Discovered by chance, the best cacio e pepe I ate on this little holiday in Rome. The other proposals are also excellent, including rice salads with fish, vegetables, or meat, as well as light but tasty and tasty dishes. We'll be back!

20/05/2025: Nous avons réservé une table dans ce restaurant référencé par le Michelin. Il a fallu indiquer le numéro de carte Visa pour garantir la réservation. Nous avons été installés dans une cour intérieure couverte parée de marbre de Carrare. Je me suis retrouvé face à une paroi semblable à une pierre tombale. L'établissement manque de personnel ou est mal organisé : nous avons dû attendre 40 minutes avant que la patronne vienne prendre notre commande. Le serveur avait une attitude hautaine et presque condescendante. J'ai dégusté des spaghetti cacio & pepe (peccorino et poivre), une spécialité romaine. Ils étaient bons. Bon vin rouge au verre. L'ambiance mortifère du restaurant et le service plus sue problématique m'ont fait regretter mon choix.

20/05/2025: Highly service minded staff with professional approach. Very well explanation about the courses/dishes. We will recommend this as a natural stop for an excellent dinner, for everyone/anyone every trip to Rome. If I could manage to give them Michelin stars, I would be glad to hand over a star.

Personale gentile Menu con i piatti tipici romani E quello che ti arriva a tavola è un esplosione di sapori Prezzi nella media... Non vedo l'ora di tornare a Roma per tornare in questo locale

16/05/2025: Restaurant in the center of Rome. Friendly staff and fair prices. I would have appreciated if they had told me that the carbonara would be served with short pasta and not long, I expected the traditional one. Not bad on the taste.

15/05/2025: I'm very sorry but I think they don't know the original recipe for carbonara because the egg, bacon and salt were completely missing. Cacio e pepe even worse. It's a shame because the staff and location are excellent.

30/05/2025: An enchanting location. Too bad the experience was completely compromised by an excessively salty carbonara, so much so that it covered every other flavor. From the reviews it seems to be a recurring mistake, and it's a real shame.

27/05/2025: The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful, the food very good. We had lunch and it was all very pleasant. The artichokes and the winemaker are out of this world.

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

05/01/2025: Ci sarò stato almeno 10 volte dalla nuova apertura. Mai 1€ di sconto, mai un caffè offerto, mai una carineria. L’apoteosi accade quando organizzo un tavolo per 15 persone: conto vicino ai 1.000€ e mi fanno pagare anche i centesimi. Tralaltro il ristorante è chiuso da quasi 2 mesi e non si sa perché…

28/05/2025: I expected the food to be way better, especially considering the price. It was not bad, but not great. The main downside was the service, though. There were around five couples when we arrived, and we still had to wait for around 45 minutes to get the main course. The antipasto arrived quite quickly, but there was still a half an hour gap before the rest, and not everyone took an appetiser. Furthermore, the staff looked bored and displeased.

28/05/2025: Very bad first impression! The food took 40-50 minutes to be served. People sat down after us and their food was served before ours. Waiter was trying so hard to ignore us about this fact! The starter was bland and the bread was so hard. The pasta was VERY salty and i couldn’t eat it because of saltiness. For such high reviews it was very disappointing and i personally will never go again.

01/06/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff. Cosy atmosphere sat outside, although you are right next to the road. The best bread ever had at a restaurant in Rome. The pear and truffle raviolino was 10/10: not too rich, not too heavy, very tasty. The Amatriciana had some large chunks of tomato in and the Gricia was not very crunchy.

29/05/2025: This is a restaurant that was recommended to me while staying at a Korean accommodation - Pilgrim Guesthouse. Another person (local guide) also told me to try this place - Lobster Pasta (for 2 people) - so I went. It was close to the accommodation and easy to find on Google Maps. I was a little worried because there were several reviews mentioning racial discrimination, but they were very friendly and had a great atmosphere. I can't really rate the taste because I never eat pasta while traveling abroad or in Korea, but my husband was very satisfied. It wasn't salty at all, the seasoning was just right, and the portion was generous for 2 people. I sincerely thank the staff for their kind guidance.

03/05/2025: Mi avevano già detto che avrei trovato lo zabaione più buono di Roma E su questo non ho dubbi lo confermo 🤩unitamente a una cucina intensa e delicata e a due proprietari assolutamente accoglienti ,simpatici e che mettono chiunque a proprio agio in un locale elegante, raffinato e dove il cibo è davvero un'arte. 29/04/2025: Ambiente increíblemente cálido, la comida era excepcional. La atención que la dueña del restaurante Soussan pone en todos sus platos es evidente. aunque todo fue fantástico, debe guardar un espacio para el Zabaione especial de Soussan. .

19/05/2025: Venivo anni fa perchè ai tempi lavoravo in zona, ambiente gradevole e pizza discreta. Siamo tornati di recente, il locale è rimasto più o meno com'era e la pizza anche, ovvero discreta e niente più.
