03/10/2025: Two fried appetizers, breaded lamb with a side of fried artichokes, a plate of house fries, two crème caramels, two bottles of water, a coffee, bill 121.50. You decide, two stars for the price, everything else was fine.

22/07/2025: The only thing I could improve on: the prosciutto is served on a tray with ice, and then everyone takes their portion and places it on their plate without ice. Here, however, today they served my prosciutto with a mountain of ice underneath, right on my plate. With all that ice, it was difficult to separate the flesh from the shrimp and scampi.

05/10/2025: A third-generation family-run trattoria. The trattoria is known by many names: "Osteria Da Sandro," "Dar Bujaccaro," and "Osteria Au Champ Vieux." I asked why all these names, and the owner's daughter told me that initially the restaurant was simply called "Da Sandro," then someone started calling it "Dar Bujaccaro" in Roman slang, and finally that some local old ladies who spoke French nicknamed it "Au Champ Vieux" because the trattoria was located next to Via di Campo Vecchio. All this preamble to say that this is a historic restaurant in the Castelli Romani, and whatever you call it, you just have to go and eat there! (: Even though it was early October, I had lunch on the huge covered veranda, and it was more than comfortable. I started with an antipasti of cured meats and cheeses, which was truly delicious compared to many other places that serve you supermarket junk. I continued with a giant portion of rigatoni with hare ragù, which was very tasty. They do both half portions and full portions: be careful, a portion is 150g of pasta!! I couldn't get a second course, so I went for some excellent homemade wine donuts, accompanied by grappa. All this, plus half a liter of white wine and a bottle of water, came to €28. A truly fair price for the quantity and quality of what I ate!! I'll definitely be back :) PS. Cute cats to keep you company during lunch are included 🐱

19/09/2025: This is a tavern with friendly, family-run owners and a very homey outdoor setting with mismatched tables and chairs and individual paper tablecloths, but that's fine considering the excellent cuisine and the very reasonable prices compared to the average.

04/12/2025: Artichokes alla giudia and cacio e pepe are top-notch. Prices are slightly higher than average. The selection and quality of the "coffee killers" needs to improve.

28/11/2025: Maybe we caught them on an off night but this was our least favorite meal while in Rome.

08/08/2025: The location is truly beautiful. The places to eat or have an aperitif are truly overpriced. With an aperitif, you don't even need two chips or peanuts.

07/07/2025: I expected more stalls with books and interesting things, instead I only found the usual things to eat that you eat in the common pubs, and stalls with objects that you can buy for much less in the markets.... Then walking along the Tiber an unpleasant smell of sewers. Disappointing...not to mention the buses that skip trips and the metro with rude people, sleepers on the seats occupying 4 or five, homeless people, and at the stops no type of control by the armed forces. Practically anything can happen and no one sees anything.

05/11/2025: Warm, cramped atmosphere. Average service and food and beverages. Exorbitant bill: Antipasto (mixed supplì, ham, mozzarella, vegetables), 1 pasta dish, carafe of house wine, water, and a coffee. 45 euros. Once, never again.

19/07/2025: A great place to eat. It's hard to tell from the outside, but inside it's well-organized and clean. There are no menus, but the waiter tells you the details. There are no surprises on the bill at the end. The prices are fair, actually competitive. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos because I was busy eating.

The atmosphere is lovely, even with the outdoor awnings, and attention to detail is excellent. P.S. The "No Minors Allowed" room is a must-see. We even bought a gift after dinner because it was so fun.

20/09/2025: I ordered tiramisu and Aperol. It tasted exactly like in Germany. Now I don't know if the Germans can make it as well as the Italians, or if the Italians were as bad as the Germans.

10/09/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. A 60-year-old restaurant that maintains a simple, classic decor and doesn't leap to pretension. I appreciated the fact that it didn't try to be a clone of so many others. It focuses on good food, and I loved that. The appetizers, like the reinterpretation of the '80s scampi cocktail, were delicious and varied. The breast baked in the oven melted in your mouth and was exquisite, as was the fillet Wellington. The courteous waiter and delightful owner did the rest. It was a wonderful evening with friends.

Their fried squash blossom dish is a marvel: light, crispy, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned. It's rare to find such delicate and balanced fried food. The fish dishes are equally impressive: perfectly cooked, with bold flavors and a simple yet elegant presentation. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the respect for the product. To finish the meal, it's hard to resist their tiramisu: creamy, smooth, and airy, with just the right amount of coffee. A perfectly executed dessert, among the best I've tasted in Rome. The service is pleasant and attentive, contributing to the restaurant's convivial atmosphere. In short, Ottelo alla Concordia is a wonderful discovery, a place where you can eat extremely well, true to traditional Italian flavors. Really delicious! Reservations are recommended.

26/11/2025: Excellent restaurant serving traditional Roman cuisine, including oxtail stew. A group of ten ate on the courtyard veranda in a welcoming atmosphere. The service wasn't impeccable; we had a long wait for dessert, but the entire meal lasted over two hours. The quality of the food was excellent; everyone ordered different dishes, but the overall opinion was unanimous, and the prices were reasonable. Make sure to book.

05/10/2025: Informal place, the fried foods are good, the suppli are excellent, the pizzas are also good. The service initially had nothing to say, but from ordering the pizzas to eating them the wait was interminable.
