21/07/2025: We showed up here on recommendation from our hotel Romanico Palace which is a few blocks away. We had no reservations as we were a little on the late side returning from a long day trip. They welcomed us in, treated us like family and served us a fantastic dinner! Food was delicious, house wine was excellent and the service was wonderful. Make a reservation and go to this one if you're close by!

17/07/2025: Habían pasado más de 5 años desde mi última visita a Roma y a Piccolo Abruzzo. La comida era solo una buena, si no excelente. El servicio fue un poco decepcionante, no toda la comida salió al mismo tiempo. Me encanta el ambiente y el servicio amable. ¡Experiencia que vale la pena compartir!

03/08/2025: First Restaurant we went to in Rome Fettuccine and Shrimp was good, Filet Barolo meat was a bit tough. Nice outdoor seating. Good wine and prices.

11/07/2025: A typical neighborhood restaurant that maintains the charm of a cuisine based on traditional Roman dishes. The atmosphere is casual and authentic. On Thursdays, the spinach gnocchi are absolutely unmissable!

09/07/2025: Excellent experience. Very good and plentiful dishes, as per the tradition of ancient Roman taverns. Fair prices, and very friendly and helpful staff.

17/08/2025: I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this establishment. While we were seated promptly, we were entirely neglected thereafter. We waited at least 30 minutes without anyone approaching our table, not even to provide menus—ultimately, we had to take menus from a nearby table ourselves. Even after deciding what to order, we still received no service after a total of 45 minutes so we left and went elsewhere. During this time, I observed only three other tables in the restaurant, all of which were being served. 2 tables had to ask where there food was or that something was forgotten and it was not busy at all. Given that I have a visible cross tattoo on the back of my neck as an expression of my Christian faith, I cannot help but feel that this may have been the reason we were ignored. In short, if you are willing to wait over an hour simply to be acknowledged, and risk experiencing discrimination based on your religious identity, this may be the place for you. Otherwise, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

17/08/2025: We had booked online in early July 2025 for Saturday, August 16th, at 9:00 PM. Just to be safe, I also called the restaurant and the reservation was confirmed. The surprise came that same evening: the restaurant was closed. I received no notice of the closure, and we had to make do with dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. Only then did we learn, from local restaurateurs, that there was a fee to hold the reservation, something we hadn't been informed of previously.

04/08/2025: I've been here several times, but I have to admit that the quality has really dropped. What a shame. Let's hope it's temporary!

02/08/2025: Can replacing fior di latte mozzarella with buffalo mozzarella on a Margherita cost €3? For a round pizza, yes. And so a pizza costs €12. The owner justified his decision by saying they use a lot of it! The fries were so fried they were almost brown. Aside from the above, the quality of the pizza, unfortunately, has significantly deteriorated compared to previous years. Deleted!

17/07/2025: The staff were friendly, but the atmosphere was very basic. The good thing was the value for money: €25 for two first courses (gricia), water, service charge, coffee, and two panzanella appetizers. Otherwise, the gricia wasn't great. There wasn't the classic creamy sauce made with pecorino cheese. I wouldn't go back.

19/08/2025: Excellent, exceptional staff, food, and atmosphere. Everything was perfect. We'll be back. A place in the center of Rome, away from the tourists. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks to all the staff, including the chefs.

17/08/2025: I got Busiate pasta as someone recommended before. Nice fresh pasta but I'm not crazy about zucchini. Average dish. Good restaurant overall.

05/08/2025: We ate on the terrace and it was very good, fast, and very tasty. The service was a bit rude, but they treated us very well since the kitchen was closing very soon. The food was very good.

30/07/2025: A perfectly good dinner for two. Minimalist mixed fried appetizer (1 croquette, 1 olive each, and 1 supplì to share between two people), first courses lacking character and personality, and 1 fried calamari lacking flavor. Fair price. Service could be improved (I'd avoid arguing in front of customers).

04/06/2025: I was in this restaurant last night with my family and it was a really pleasant surprise, the atmosphere was welcoming, quiet, reserved despite being in Trastevere and in addition the guys who served us were very nice and polite. Excellent food both in taste and presentation of the dish. Advantageous prices, I recommend it!

12/08/2025: We ordered 2 pizzas with friends and the old lady waitress told us that we have to get 3 pizzas because they are small (they were asi big as a normal pizza), but we told her we want just 2. In the beginning she also told us not to use our phones, which is helly weird, we felt like we were in school and she was a teacher. The pizza with mushrooms wasnt very good, it looked and tasted like store bought frozen pizza with basilka. I make better pizza at home. When we wanted to pay we saw at the receipt that there was 8€ for service and it wasnt written anywhere in the menu, so we asked. They started arguing with us, were histerical and brought back totally different menu than the one we had when we were ordering and the servizio there was handwritten with fix. Emberassing. Funny atmosfere because of basilka.

05/08/2025: Authentic Roman cuisine, just steps from the city center, at prices you won't find anywhere else. A homey, family-friendly atmosphere, and a friendly, Sardinian-Roman host who's always available to chat with customers and recommend the best dish. The saltimbocca are amazing! Definitely worth a visit on your next trip to Rome.

08/08/2025: The location is truly beautiful. The places to eat or have an aperitif are truly overpriced. With an aperitif, you don't even need two chips or peanuts.

07/07/2025: I expected more stalls with books and interesting things, instead I only found the usual things to eat that you eat in the common pubs, and stalls with objects that you can buy for much less in the markets.... Then walking along the Tiber an unpleasant smell of sewers. Disappointing...not to mention the buses that skip trips and the metro with rude people, sleepers on the seats occupying 4 or five, homeless people, and at the stops no type of control by the armed forces. Practically anything can happen and no one sees anything.

05/08/2025: A very nice and traditional restaurant. The staff is quick and friendly. They offer a wide variety of tasty Roman dishes, served in generous portions. It's not cheap, but it's worth it!

21/06/2025: The food is delicious!!! I especially recommend the carbonara. The waiting time is not long, the staff does not speak English and it is quite difficult to communicate.

19/07/2025: I went there last night with a group of friends. Everything was perfect; the food was excellent, both meat and fish, at very reasonable prices, but everything was high-quality and perfectly cooked. It will definitely be a pleasure to return.
