19/09/2025: Special because you don't have to book when you arrive if there is room you come in otherwise you wait at 9.15pm who is inside eats who is outside GOODBYE is the only rule for the rest you eat a lot and well and you pay little

08/08/2025: The location is truly beautiful. The places to eat or have an aperitif are truly overpriced. With an aperitif, you don't even need two chips or peanuts.

07/07/2025: I expected more stalls with books and interesting things, instead I only found the usual things to eat that you eat in the common pubs, and stalls with objects that you can buy for much less in the markets.... Then walking along the Tiber an unpleasant smell of sewers. Disappointing...not to mention the buses that skip trips and the metro with rude people, sleepers on the seats occupying 4 or five, homeless people, and at the stops no type of control by the armed forces. Practically anything can happen and no one sees anything.

19/09/2025: This is a tavern with friendly, family-run owners and a very homey outdoor setting with mismatched tables and chairs and individual paper tablecloths, but that's fine considering the excellent cuisine and the very reasonable prices compared to the average.

24/06/2025: A place that knows how to welcome, not just serve. La Taverna della Scala is one of those places where you gladly return, because it leaves you with something more than just good food. Warm environment, with attention to detail, with a quiet and no-frills atmosphere. The staff is kind, attentive, present at the right time. The cuisine is the real strong point: traditional dishes, well executed, with clear flavors and quality ingredients. You can feel that there is passion behind every course. The recommended wine was perfect to accompany dinner. Fair prices, generous portions, punctual service. A restaurant where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity and taste.

11/10/2025: We visited this restaurant twice during our trip to Rome. It was located on one of the main streets, and we really loved the atmosphere. The staff was excellent, the ambiance was wonderful, and the food was delicious as well.

11/10/2025: We ordered water and Coke, but only water glasses were brought. The breading on the Ascoli olives was a bit too hard, and the supplì was very hot on the outside but cold on the inside, with the mozzarella not completely melted (see photo). The pizza was good, thin, though a bit heavy to digest; furthermore, the one with ham could have had at least one more slice, since they only served two thin slices and charged €10. The cacio e pepe pasta was good. The staff were friendly and helpful; and it's only thanks to them that the rating was raised. It wouldn't take much to improve. A classic location and prices are average for a pizzeria.

10/10/2025: This restaurant has been around in Rome for a long time. The staff is incredibly friendly and fast. The food is excellent, including the fried fish, which is perfect, and the sea bream, which is perfectly cooked. Those who've had the pizzas have had the same experience: delicious and not too thin. It's worth a visit.

12/10/2025: 5 stars because you really feel the authenticity of a Roman trattoria, located in the center of Garbatella. This historic restaurant is well-known and continues to maintain its authenticity. The daily menu is excellent, the first courses are fabulous, and the rigatoni alla pajata is amazing. We'll definitely be back.

08/10/2025: Excellent food, quick and friendly service, a family atmosphere, one of my all-time favorite trattorias. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the dishes, typical of Roman tradition, are top-quality. I used to come here all the time to eat with my grandmother, and every time I return, it's a bit like being back with her. Highly recommended.

30/04/2025: La mejor comida de nuestro tiempo aquí en Roma. Teníamos la pasta con trufa negra, espaguetis con salchicha y cerdo con manzana. Todos estábamos muy contentos con nuestra comida. El servicio fue eficiente, el hijo del cocinero dirige el servicio y agrega un gran toque personal. Definitivamente volveré:)

26/04/2025: Sentí que iba a ir a la casa de mi tío italiano para la cena del domingo. Este lugar es increíble. Muy amable y amable propietario y personal. Servicio de primera categoría, y lo más importante la comida era increíble. Un montón de opciones de vino y todo fenomenal en nuestra experiencia también. Te permiten visitar la bodega al final de tu comida, que también es una historia genial. Francissco nos regaló una botella de vino para nuestra luna de miel, así que después de mantenerlo a salvo durante toda una noche de bar saltando me dejé caer inmediatamente al entrar en mi habitación de hotel. Nunca hago reseñas, pero este lugar fue el punto culminante de nuestras experiencias gastronómicas y estoy tan contento de que nos detuvimos en. Si usted tiene la suerte de conseguir una mesa aquí, entonces usted está en un placer.

05/10/2025: Informal place, the fried foods are good, the suppli are excellent, the pizzas are also good. The service initially had nothing to say, but from ordering the pizzas to eating them the wait was interminable.
