The staff were so welcoming and helpful, explaining all the dishes and offering wine tastings. The restaurant itself was stunning - set partially underground with stone walls and arched ceilings. The food was fantastic - the best meal we have had after spending 2 weeks in Puglia. Everything was beautifully presented and top quality. We couldn’t fault a thing.

We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't a tourist trap, and honestly, we stumbled upon this one, and it was an incredible experience!
The staff is friendly and attentive, the setting is really charming and away from the crowds, the prices are very reasonable, even better than in other restaurants with many more reviews, and the food is authentic and high quality. We chose the rigatoni alla carbonara and the ravioli with ricotta! Everything was delicious!
You can go there without hesitation.

We returned after a positive memory a few years ago, but unfortunately, our expectations were disappointed. The first courses were very small, the carbonara was too dry, and the guanciale wasn't crispy at all. The cacio e pepe wasn't creamy at all, and we paid an exorbitant price for a single course each and some appetizers to share. I have nothing to complain about the service; the waiters were very kind, but the quality of the food definitely needs to improve, especially the portion sizes.

All was fine. The food lacked some taste we had elsewhere but nothing wrong. Perhaps the toothpicks in the saltimbocca romana were unnecessary (I have made those myself in a trattoria back when I was young student), but nothing alarming. Our main waiter was lovely and the front man kept hoarding crowds in place. Food was served in Instagram plates we didn't care so much. Overall ok, but nothing particular we will miss.

A wonderful experience at a Trastevere restaurant. I was a bit skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly and fun, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere had its own unique character. Keep it up!

A very good experience at La Gattabuia in Rome. We ate very well; the dishes were truly delicious and of high quality. The service was excellent, with a pleasant and attentive staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

You feel at home, the excellent cuisine balances tradition with a desire for innovation, the portions are adequate, not just tastes for models. We ordered Roman specialties... the cellar is well-stocked with some big names and many small/medium-sized producers of high quality, the price is fair, a place to return to.
