16/09/2025: I was expecting better food. Huge portions of 10-layer lasagna with 80% béchamel. Chicken cacciatore was quite overcooked and dry inside. Roast potatoes were unsightly. Boiled meats. Tables were too close to each other. Average wait. Bill was 90 euros for three adults and a child. Three full menus and a first course for the child with purified water (I hope) and a Fanta. I won't be back. Fettuccine with meat sauce was a little sweet but good.

13/09/2025: After visiting the center of Castelvetro and Levizzano Castle 🏰 in the morning, we arrived (snooping online 🧑🏻‍💻) at Ustaria Tre Valli for something to eat around 1:00 PM 🕐. Once inside, we were greeted very warmly by a kind lady 👩🏻 who showed us to our table. After ordering drinks (water 💧 was already included in the cover charge 🍴), we were brought a pleasant appetizer, free of charge, of fried gnocco 🥯 and cured meats 🥓. The first courses 🍝 were very good, as well as plentiful (tortelli neri ⚫ and rice 🍚 4 formaggi 🧀 with balsamic vinegar, in our case). Worthy of note is the great variety, especially of first courses, on the menu 📋. Truly excellent value for money 👌 for this great place, which I definitely recommend 👍. Finally, it's also conveniently located 🧭 for continuing your journey 🚘 to discover the Modena province, perhaps heading to Vignola. 28/08/2025: We ate so well we came back the next day! The lasagna here is a must-try, and the homemade pasta is excellent in general. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were fair. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Modena!

23/09/2025: We found it by chance as we needed a lunch stop, and it was a wonderful surprise. Excellent food, very kind and friendly staff.

21/09/2025: We stopped by here on our way back from Tuscany. From the outside, it looks like a rustic trattoria. The food is good and well-prepared, but the waitress is incredibly rude, and doesn't justify the €3 cover charge per person, as well as the generally high prices for the place it APPEARS to be. It's a shame.

03/10/2025: This restaurant is a real jewel of the historic centre of Modena. Here, fresh pasta is the absolute protagonist: tortellini, tagliatelle and fried dumpling are prepared with great skill according to traditional recipes. A place where you will find tradition not only in the menu but also in the warm welcome of the owner Danilo and his wonderful staff.

29/07/2025: I often buy takeout pizza and eat it in much less often. The quality is really high, and I consider it one of the best pizzas you can find in Modena. The staff is courteous and friendly. I've tried the gnocco with prosciutto several times and highly recommend it. Someday I'll want to try the restaurant side of things.

26/09/2025: My boyfriend and I ordered gnocco fritto to start, followed by lasagna and tortellini with parmesan cream. The gnocco with prosciutto was sensational; it was soft and not heavy even when fried. The homemade tortellini were super fresh, and the parmesan cream paired perfectly. The lasagna also tasted just like homemade. For dessert, we had the generic version with mascarpone, which, needless to say, was delicious, just the right amount of sweetness, and you could taste the fresh, handmade mascarpone. Everything was perfect, even the staff was friendly and helpful!

24/09/2025: A perfect experience. Food is incredibly rich but reflective of local ingredients too. Great service and a lovely space.

02/10/2025: It's a shame because the owners are nice and helpful, but the food is truly a disaster. Not to mention that for a boiled meat "from the kitchen," with no more than 200g of meat, you pay 25 euros. A real disappointment, what a shame.
