16/10/2025: A quiet and refined atmosphere just outside Modena. The gnocco fritto with cured meats is excellent, and the grandmother's tortellini are very good. Don't miss the delicious zuppa inglese. The only minor drawback is that they take a bit long to serve. Soft background music.

30/11/2025: A fantastic experience, one I'd repeat a thousand times over. Trattoria da Ermes was once the place where my dad spent all his leisure time over a glass of wine (maybe more than one), singing at the top of his lungs with friends. I never imagined it would be nearly the same as it was then. We had a wonderful time, both in terms of food and service. My personal advice: "Don't miss this experience, it's a wonderful experience."

22/11/2025: Exceptional host, traditional yet neat and clean place, good traditional menu. The only flaw was the mushroom pappardelle, which was too full of garlic and lacked other flavors. Poorly blended. The boiled and roasted meats were beautiful and very traditional!
21/11/2025: The appetizer and tortellino in broth were very popular. The service and ambiance were good. 4.3 out of 5 stars. Recommended because you can eat well for a reasonable price.

Generous portions. I highly recommend the Stramilano cutlet, which is delicious and high-quality meat, topped with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and onion.

The wine selection is exaggerated for this type of restaurant, but there's something for every taste. The tortellini are worthy of a heartfelt book.

28/11/2025: We tried it for the first time last night for the "Gourmet Thursdays" project, and were truly impressed by the owners' kindness and smiles. The food was truly excellent, and the atmosphere was elegant yet familiar. We'll definitely be back, even though it's a bit far from home, to try new dishes and for the sense of joy and happiness the owners conveyed. All restaurateurs should be this welcoming, because it really makes you want to come back.

02/10/2025: It's a shame because the owners are nice and helpful, but the food is truly a disaster. Not to mention that for a boiled meat "from the kitchen," with no more than 200g of meat, you pay 25 euros. A real disappointment, what a shame.
