05/05/2026: Good morning, I was there with my wife last week after coming a few months ago... Speranza is always a great surprise, compliments to the brothers and all the staff, always very kind and helpful... and super compliments to the chef, who knows how to cook well, excellent raw ingredients and perfectly paired... My wife and I will be back again soon... the price and quality are spot on.

PS: My wife is lactose intolerant and has no problems, so she always finds something different.
Celtica is a great choice, the menu has so much to choose from.

17/05/2026: Excellent restaurant serving high-quality fish and meat dishes. Ingredients are expertly paired to highlight the main ingredient. Excellent appetizers include zucchini flowers with crabmeat, sea bass ravioli, local classic pumpkin tortelli, and duck breast in strawberry grape sauce. Everything is expertly prepared and made with top-quality ingredients. The wine list is also top-notch. Prices are in line with the quality of the food offered. First courses range from €14 to €22, and second courses from €18 to €30. The side dish of baked mixed vegetables is also excellent. Worth the visit for this dish alone.
03/05/2026: A very charming location and setting, overlooking the bridge over the Mincio (a place steeped in Risorgimento reminiscences). Very attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere. The traditional dishes are excellent (I chose a menu featuring only snails, highly recommended). The game dishes are also noteworthy. Fully accessible, with convenient parking nearby. I also recommend the very charming option of beginning or ending the experience with a lovely stroll in the green area on the banks of the Mincio, accessible right from the restaurant. Highly recommended.

28/05/2026: It's 30 km from my house, but a friend from Varese took me there. I was shocked by the amount of food on the plates. Homemade, tasty, and beautifully plated. Prices are fair compared to average. I recommend everyone to stop by.

11/06/2026: We stopped in Mantua and had lunch at this Osteria after walking around the city center and only seeing very touristy places. What can I say...we had a wonderful time, everything was excellent and the prices were fair. I also bought their Sbriciolona to go, and I have to say it was excellent, perhaps better than the one I bought in the pastry shop. I hope to return to Mantua soon to try other dishes from Osteria Ranari.
31/05/2026: A somewhat secluded, relatively simple osteria with delicious Mantuan dishes, some of which are a bit different/more unusual than what you usually find.
Superbly cooked, "just like Grandma/Mom's home cooking."
Very friendly and efficient service.
I would definitely go there again if I'm ever in Mantua again.

13/06/2026: We had a great meal at a lovely restaurant here in Mantua, near the lakeside and the historic center. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was a bit touristy, but I enjoyed it. Would I go back? It's not the best place I've visited in Mantua, but I have no reason not to, as I had a great time. The prices are fair.
07/06/2026: The place is cute, just steps from the historic center and overlooking the lakes. Crowded but not overly so. The service was excellent and fast. Three stars for the food, which was good and good, but the pasta was al dente, oh so al dente! Tough, let's face it, definitely barely cooked. Dessert: tenerina cake. Yes, but not at all tender; this one was also decidedly hard and a bit stale. In short, a place for those with good teeth. Well, for me, good food is something else. I have to say one thing in its favor, though: the prices are definitely good.
After that, I don't think I'll be back.
