12/06/2026: Great restaurant. The chef and service are very courteous and helpful. Haute cuisine features superb yet unpretentious dishes. The wow factor is the quality of the ingredients and the chef's skill, who focuses on the substance of the flavors unleashed in the mouth rather than on the effect. Prices are more than reasonable.

A quaint location, everywhere you turn, something catches your eye. The service is impeccable, and in addition to the attention they give you, I appreciate that the chef personally comes out to chat with his guests. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The dishes, what can I say... each one better than the last: we opted for the tasting menu and it was a wonderful experience.
We went with another couple of friends and our baby, who was a few months old, and they were truly hospitable and kind, even letting us pass with the stroller and making room for us. Compliments to the chef and all the staff, I can't wait to return.

04/08/2026: We tried this osteria in the Mantua area. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were helpful and courteous. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the platter of mixed cheeses and mustards. I highly recommend it. The other dishes were also good, with excellent pairings and beautifully presented. I'd say the value for money was good.

29/06/2026: I gave 1 star for the atmosphere because, with temperatures around 38 degrees today, June 20, 2026, we had lunch on a completely open outdoor veranda with the fans on high that worked but did very little. Inside, they told me they don't have air conditioning. The food, however, was excellent. But from my point of view, you absolutely can't have lunch in the summer. There were a lot of people fanning themselves, including us. Never again will I have an experience like this with these temperatures! Maybe in December, but not now, absolutely not, I almost fainted!

The first courses are better than the second courses.
Don't order the pumpkin tortelli. Instead, opt for the macaroni with bacon.

An excellent menu featuring traditional and non-traditional dishes, served in generous portions and offering excellent value.
If you're looking for a restaurant that's off the beaten path but still within walking distance of the main squares and attractions, I highly recommend it.
26/06/2026: A truly memorable evening in Mantua. We dined in a welcoming place with a very refined and pleasant atmosphere.
The quality of the food impressed us from the first bite. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the desserts, such as the slice of cake topped with fresh berries and a light dusting of powdered sugar. Everything was exquisite and prepared with great care.
We will definitely return to try other specialties. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic cuisine in the city.

19/07/2026: Very nice and welcoming place and excellent service. The only thing is, check the salt in the kettle; the pasta was really tasteless. But for one night, a mistake can happen to anyone and doesn't compromise the quality.
09/07/2026: We had a New Year's Eve dinner, and the food was excellent, with prices below average for the time of year (we had visited several places). In addition to the traditional welcome at the end of the meal, I think the owner's son heard me talking about whisky and offered me (he seems like a connoisseur, not just a simple enthusiast) a taste of something exquisite!!! Truly a touch of class. Thank you very much.

13/06/2026: We had a great meal at a lovely restaurant here in Mantua, near the lakeside and the historic center. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was a bit touristy, but I enjoyed it. Would I go back? It's not the best place I've visited in Mantua, but I have no reason not to, as I had a great time. The prices are fair.
07/06/2026: The place is cute, just steps from the historic center and overlooking the lakes. Crowded but not overly so. The service was excellent and fast. Three stars for the food, which was good and good, but the pasta was al dente, oh so al dente! Tough, let's face it, definitely barely cooked. Dessert: tenerina cake. Yes, but not at all tender; this one was also decidedly hard and a bit stale. In short, a place for those with good teeth. Well, for me, good food is something else. I have to say one thing in its favor, though: the prices are definitely good.
After that, I don't think I'll be back.

30/05/2026: Last night was a lovely evening with the FIGC Referees Section of Mantua. We had lunch in the courtyard. The facility is beautiful, complemented by a garden with a swimming pool. The evening's dishes were classic Mantuan dishes. They were delicious, and we even had several encores.
17/05/2026: The appetizers were delicious, the homemade first courses were excellent, and the service was very professional.
