Superb little village inn in Moneglia! Well located for visiting the Cinque Terre. Beach across the street and train station a 7-minute walk away. Organized group stay. Positive points: Very warm welcome, excellent service, very good restaurant team, thank you 🙏🏽 very good meals. Two major drawbacks: 1. The room was poorly located because the Hemigway bar, right next door, plays loud music, making it impossible to sleep well during our trekking/hiking trip. We asked twice to change rooms, but the owners refused. So disappointed! 2. Breakfast had a good selection but was too basic; consider adding fruit! 🍇 🍏🍎 Everything else was good and adequate for a 2-star hotel. 🌟 Enjoy your stay!

Very good service always kind, open to suggestions. I stayed in this planche for a week to go hiking every day. I experienced breakfast and dinner and rooms. Standard room with standard équipement. Good food with a good chef. Standard breakfast with always an attention with a cake to someone.

Very nice, clean, and traditional restaurant, just steps from the sea and the center of beautiful Moneglia. We ate very well, with fresh, high-quality seafood. Fast and professional service. Highly recommended.

Hiking trips in early April to the Cinque Terre... kindness, smiles, availability... the meals are excellent... the breakfast is perfect... the service is top-notch... the cuisine is equally impressive. The hotel-restaurant's location is ideal. ...a great stay... parking must be reserved in advance...

21/05/2026: Excellent local cuisine, impeccable service, welcoming and friendly staff. While on holiday in the area, we were directed to this restaurant by locals. We ordered the stuffed anchovies and stuffed squid, which were very well prepared. I highly recommend it.

01/05/2026: I ate the world-class seafood ravioli, the spectacular fried anchovies, and the incredibly good fritto misto. It's a pleasure to come and eat at Anciua Matta...keep it up, Granata Alberto and Lorella
