We went for dinner at Osteria Anciua Matta.
We had fried anchovies and octopus with potatoes as an appetizer.
We then continued with two first courses: spaghetti with clams and trofie alla matta (fish and octopus ragù).
All the dishes were delicious and plentiful, the fish fresh and the ingredients high-quality.
The service was very fast and welcoming.
The house sparkling wine is an excellent accompaniment.
The price was fair, and the complimentary coffees were appreciated.
Highly recommended for both an intimate dinner and a dinner with friends.

I stumbled upon it by chance and was truly thrilled by both the food, which was truly excellent, and the very kind and helpful staff.
The background music was excellent, but the volume was low, making it very enjoyable to listen to.
It's a truly great place to eat in peace.
I highly recommend it.

A pleasant stop in Albissola, a quiet and well-kept place, with kind and friendly staff. We stopped in for lunch during the low season. The fried and stuffed anchovies and spaghetti with clams were delicious!

The octopus and potatoes were good, but quite "smart." There wasn't much octopus, but a lot of potatoes. The fried calamari was very good and flavorful. The torta della nonna was decent, and the house wine was good. The service was adequate, but the bill was a bit high.

They've outdone themselves! Truly high-quality food, preserving tradition and simplicity. The tuna was amazing, prepared very, very professionally. And its preparation is not a given. All the first courses were delicious, from the simplest ones à la carte to those of the day. The fried foods!! Mamma mia!!!! No one is more capable than them. It's dry from the dripping oil, but every fried food preparation is soft and fresh! Master level. As for the wines and beers... I'll come back because I didn't put any effort into it! Professional, friendly, punctual service. VERY WELL DONE!!!!
