Excellent local cuisine, impeccable service, welcoming and friendly staff. While on holiday in the area, we were directed to this restaurant by locals. We ordered the stuffed anchovies and stuffed squid, which were very well prepared. I highly recommend it.

If you find no difference between a homemade basil pesto and a commercial one, or a Liguria Vermentino and a Tuscany’s one, or think that “Melanzane alla Parmigiana” is the proper name… well, you will be quite pleased to eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and the young ladies in service are very kind and fluent in English. Prices are reasonable. If you are a connoisseur, go somewhere else and be ready to spend far more!

This place was the epitome of okay. Grumpy man greeting you at the front is kinda a poor start. Luckily the service gets better from there - helpful, informative, etc. Attentive could be hit or miss. The food was also all okay. Really enjoyed the sauces and local takes, pasta was only okay. Fair warning, that could also be a me thing - I keep waiting to be wow’d by Italian pasta and it feels like waiting for Mars to set (not a real thing). One of our favorite dishes throughout Italy was the Frianata - the chickpea crepe/pancake. Really good as a snack or, in this case, appetizer. Overall, it was fine. I wouldn’t recommend it or even look to go back; but wouldn’t avoid it if I was nearby and hungry.

In the ranking of bad pasta dishes, O Bansin's seafood spaghetti is second only to French spaghetti. Pale and soggy, it arrived three minutes after ordering—who knows why?!? I'm a no-nonsense person, and anything goes as long as the bill is fair for the quality of the dishes. Not so here, thumbs down.

30/05/2026: Superb little village inn in Moneglia! Well located for visiting the Cinque Terre. Beach across the street and train station a 7-minute walk away. Organized group stay. Positive points: Very warm welcome, excellent service, very good restaurant team, thank you 🙏🏽 very good meals. Two major drawbacks: 1. The room was poorly located because the Hemigway bar, right next door, plays loud music, making it impossible to sleep well during our trekking/hiking trip. We asked twice to change rooms, but the owners refused. So disappointed! 2. Breakfast had a good selection but was too basic; consider adding fruit! 🍇 🍏🍎 Everything else was good and adequate for a 2-star hotel. 🌟 Enjoy your stay!
30/05/2026: Very good service always kind, open to suggestions. I stayed in this planche for a week to go hiking every day. I experienced breakfast and dinner and rooms. Standard room with standard équipement. Good food with a good chef. Standard breakfast with always an attention with a cake to someone.
