24/08/2025: I was a little disappointed. Traditional Ligurian and Piedmontese dishes. Good quality, but the portions weren't very generous. They gave us freshly baked Fugassini as a taster. We had an appetizer, Ligurian-style rabbit, and roast beef. Fair price.

19/08/2025: Excellent restaurant...we were there yesterday with friends....we ate and drank very well with typical Ligurian cuisine with some Piedmontese dishes.....I recommend it.

01/09/2025: Honestly, it's been a challenge on this trip to Santa Margherita Ligure. What a welcome surprise to have found this restaurant! Very welcoming and friendly staff, very patient with our minimal Italian language proficiency. Absolutely the best ribeye I have ever had. Service was fast, smooth, and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Big thank you to the folks who took care of us, would absolutely return, impeccable 👌

31/08/2025: We stopped by this restaurant because the outdoor seating looked so inviting, and the menu didn’t disappoint. The scallopini in white wine sauce was absolutely delicious — definitely my top recommendation! The service was warm and welcoming too; our waitress was so kind, even when we didn’t have smaller notes or change for payment.

19/07/2025: Elegant restaurant in the center of Diano Marina. Food - excellent. I highly recommend the fried anchovies and fried calamari. Excellent. The Ligurian wine selection is five stars.

10/07/2025: The place isn't very big, but it's welcoming. The tables outside are all filled up. The staff are friendly, the wait time is reasonable, and the food is excellent. The Ligurian-style rabbit is excellent, the sea bass ravioli and the mussels marinara are good. The prices are average. We'll be back.

05/03/2025: We stumbled upon this place thanks to a Google search. It was a real surprise!! We were a little hesitant after seeing some of the reviews, but we were rewarded with something completely different! Excellent food, impeccable service, delightful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: The portion of the dish of the day was ridiculously small and expensive (fish with vegetables). The food was good, but I ate tagliolini with lobster for the same price at another restaurant. There's no comparison.

30/06/2025: Locale accettabile dal punto di vista estetico per il borgo antico in cui si trova, tuttavia la cucina non è assolutamente all'altezza del menù presentato: primo con condimento non corrispondente a quanto indicato sul menù ( "u tuccu" senza carne, ma per "senza" si intende "senza" non "con poca"), brandacujun con percentuale di stoccafisso ampiamente sotto il minimo previsto (nella ricetta, qualunque ricetta si voglia considerare, la percentuale in peso dello stoccafisso deve essere superiore a quello delle patate, e non mi risulta l'aceto balsamico nella ricetta, messo probabilmente a decorazione ma che comunque fa parte del piatto). Un consiglio a chi risponde alle recensioni: di solito si ricorre all’insulto e al linguaggio scurrile quando si è in torto marcio, in genere per dare più peso alle proprie ragioni o per sfogarsi, bisognerebbe invece prendere in considerazione le recensioni e vedere di migliorare la cucina del proprio locale, scendendo dal piedistallo dove ci si pone pensando di essere ristoratori perfetti.

20/06/2025: People complaining about the prices at Puny must think they’re in a beach shack somewhere in rural Italy—not in Portofino, one of the poshest places in the country. This isn’t your local pizzeria in a tiny village—it’s Puny, the iconic spot right on the harbor. Expecting a €10 pasta here is like walking into Chanel and asking for a discount on a handbag. I also assume those people haven’t been to places like St. Tropez, St. Moritz, Ibiza, or Mykonos—where prices are often MUCH higher. For where you are and what you get, I think it’s more than fair. The food? Classic Ligurian and seriously delicious. The staff? Super sharp and genuinely kind—we had a gluten-intolerant child with us, and they handled it with incredible care and attention. The owner is out-going and entertaining, and then there’s my favorite: Renato! So kind, and impressively fluent in many languages. I’ve personally seen Madonna, Diane von Fürstenberg and Jeff Bezos here. I have friends who stop with their boats in Portofino only to have lunch at Puny. This place is basically where celebrities and foodies casually enjoy their “Pappardelle Portofino.” If you want the real Portofino experience—amazing food, top-tier people-watching, and a taste of glam—Puny is the place. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, casual dinner… this isn’t your spot. Simple as that. PS: If I could only give one advice: a few more healthy and interesting vegetarian options would be wonderful and very much appreciated!

Il servizio è alla mano e di tipo turistico così come il menù e la mise en place La qualità del cibo è elevato e a mio avviso potrebbero fare con un piccolo sforzo un grande salto di qualità Comunque consigliato

25/04/2025: Cucina ligure tradizionale e con qualche tocco creativo, realizzata con eccezionali materie prime del territorio, servita da personale gentile ed ospitale. Questo ristorante è stato una piacevole scoperta ed un ripasso di cucina ligure (venendo noi da Roma) che avevamo desiderato e che ci ha lasciati veramente più che soddisfatti. Ringraziamo lo staff per la cortesia ed il sorriso e per tramandare ancora una delle migliori cucine tradizionali d'Italia. Raccomando il pesto: una crema profumatissima, incredibilmente senz'aglio, ed il dolce a base di polenta al limone con granella di nocciole tostate.

22/04/2025: Ho avuto modo di pranzare a Pasqua con la mia famiglia presso la Locanda Luigina. Il personale è molto gentile e l'utilizzo di ingredienti locali porta ad degustare piatti veramente piacevoli al palato e anche alla vista. Il prezzo è proporzionato al menu proposto. Lo consiglio.

10/05/2025: Ottimi piatti di pesce, il tortino di acciughe e il tortino di verdure ottimi, anche i moscardini affogati e le linguine al ragù di moscardini molto buoni, servizio gentile e attento, il prezzo è adeguato alla qualità del cibo...

24/04/2025: La cucina di pesce fresco ottima, non banale, di altissima qualità. La qualità difficile da riscontrare in una località turistica, come Camogli, dove sono presenti tanti ristoranti mediocri e piuttosto cari… Non è sul lungomare, ma su una strada parallela, ambiente divertente e carino. Ma il cibo veramente vale il viaggio - pesce fresco del giorno cucinato in modo sublime!
