A unique and simple place where the choice depends on what Giovanni has prepared: a few items, expertly prepared, and truly delicious. He confided in us that he doesn't cook for more than 12 people; he's not a mercenary, but a man of experience.

22/10/2025: It doesn't even deserve one star. We went one evening without a reservation. The place wasn't full; there were still plenty of tables available both inside and outside (considering it's a small street, that's all). We were told that everything outside was booked, but then the lady—probably the owner—came in and rudely informed us that there was no room inside either. We booked for the following evening, and my friend politely asked to reserve a table outside. The lady responded with a firm NO, saying that they have "regulars" who always get priority.
Apparently, the lady doesn't know how to treat customers or find new ones. Obviously, we haven't returned, and we never will!
13/10/2025: I don't recommend it to anyone, don't spend little, badly cooked fish, I asked for a fish appetizer and there was capricciosa anchovies with bread, butter and anchovies, shrimps with cocktail sauce, washed out with sand under the teeth, and 1 stuffed sardine, and a mixed fried seafood platter where I was told there were squid, shrimps, and anchovies, and there was a shrimp, 1 stuffed anchovy, and 4 fried anchovies and squid, but the taste wasn't the best, the waitress was huffing and puffing, and two German customers were translating even though there was a translation, and she complained to me, 1 glass of wine and a half of sparkling water, then I got up and paid 39 euros, mind-blowing... and I'm in the business.

21/03/2026: Terrible, unfortunately, good food, but be careful with the bill, they don't show you specifically, they give you a total not even with a receipt but only a POS charged by about 25/30% more than what you should have paid!! Big scam, kind but fake!!!!
16/03/2026: The waiter was very kind, and despite the late hour, he seated us.
The food wasn't great, and unfortunately, the bill was an unpleasant surprise: €170 for three risottos, two artichokes, some anchovies, and two desserts seems excessive, like a Michelin-starred restaurant.
I'll never go back, and I don't recommend it.

14/03/2026: I do not recommend this place. We came to Dindi Trattoria as a group of six people. We politely suggested a table where we would like to sit, but the waiter was very rude. He told us that we must sit separately and did not try to help us find a good place together. Because of his behavior, we decided to leave and not stay in the restaurant. It was a very unpleasant experience, so I would not recommend this place to others.
08/03/2026: Never again. I sat here with a friend for breakfast, and we were served when it was almost lunchtime, so instead of having a big breakfast, we opted for a quick juice and then went nearby for lunch.
Terrible service. We watched the shift change for how long we'd been waiting, only waiting to time it because it had become a meme. The waiter who'd seen us sit didn't bother serving us even though he'd cleared the nearby tables. In the end, the waitress who came on shift after him served us. About an hour after we sat down. Absurd.
But the icing on the cake: a few months after my episode, my father is back here today to bring some of his friends for coffee while visiting Genoa, because objectively the place is also nice, only to be told that "they don't serve coffee on Sundays because it's not worth it and they'll lose more customers"... this is truly absurd.

24/01/2026: Bad, bad, bad, 25 euros wasted.
Ligurian cuisine only in the names of the dishes. The pesto in the trofie was nonexistent, but the pansoti with walnut sauce was a good example. The second course was a square (5x5) of Recco-style focaccia, because it didn't even resemble it. Last but not least, the dessert was the leftover pandoro from Christmas. The only saving grace was the unlimited wine, but don't think it was any good; the tavernello is more respectable. I repeat, bad, bad, bad.
18/01/2026: Okay, the price is low, but if they offer us cheese focaccia as a main course, there's no way they'll only bring one slice per person.
Then something shocked me... they only want cash, there's no card payment, not even a receipt. What kind of stupid people are they who do things legally? Maybe they're trying to cover themselves because the address on Maps doesn't match the real one (which is the building before). Okay, they want to pay less tax, but we must have been there for 100 euros, and not even a receipt or a traceable payment.

13/07/2025: The restaurant is called Clash Wine & Beef, and the meat, excellently grilled, takes center stage. Various aged cuts of meat from European countries and beyond. Special mention goes to the mashed potatoes and jacket potatoes.
24/05/2025: Esperienza sempre positiva: un oste d'altri tempi, accogliente e generoso. Cibo ottimo, porzioni abbondanti, servizio cortese e amichevole.

27/07/2025: Location incantevole. Proprio sul lungomare di Monterosso e all’inizio della passeggiate che porta a Vernazza.
Mangiare al tramonto qui è una esperienza veramente da vivere.
Il servizio è alla mano e di tipo turistico così come il menù e la mise en place
La qualità del cibo è elevato e a mio avviso potrebbero fare con un piccolo sforzo un grande salto di qualità
Comunque consigliato
27/07/2025: No me sentí invitado cuando se le pidió mesa, servidor simplemente contestó de una manera no agradable y se fue, me hubiera encantado probar este lugar.

30/06/2025: Locale accettabile dal punto di vista estetico per il borgo antico in cui si trova, tuttavia la cucina non è assolutamente all'altezza del menù presentato: primo con condimento non corrispondente a quanto indicato sul menù ( "u tuccu" senza carne, ma per "senza" si intende "senza" non "con poca"), brandacujun con percentuale di stoccafisso ampiamente sotto il minimo previsto (nella ricetta, qualunque ricetta si voglia considerare, la percentuale in peso dello stoccafisso deve essere superiore a quello delle patate, e non mi risulta l'aceto balsamico nella ricetta, messo probabilmente a decorazione ma che comunque fa parte del piatto).
Un consiglio a chi risponde alle recensioni: di solito si ricorre all’insulto e al linguaggio scurrile quando si è in torto marcio, in genere per dare più peso alle proprie ragioni o per sfogarsi, bisognerebbe invece prendere in considerazione le recensioni e vedere di migliorare la cucina del proprio locale, scendendo dal piedistallo dove ci si pone pensando di essere ristoratori perfetti.
02/06/2025: Sarò breve..piatti scadenti..piatti di pesce senza pesce..tortino di baccalà..solo patate...tagliatelle ai gamberi solo burro e prezzemolo..vino sfuso della casa.8.50 euro mezzo litro...la signora ci ha chiesto se volevamo il dolce .. quando eravamo alla cassa..tempi di attesa eterni..locale vuoto..caro per quello che offre .fate voi.piu che questo .. questo dopo cambio gestore..una volta non era così...
