The food is very good and very Italian (if your sick of the tourist type by this stage of your journey) .. the prices are reasonable for what is intended to be regional fine dining and the staff -and chat GPT-explain it perfectly .. there is not much in the way of view, fancy setting or Fitout , but for food and warmth .. they have a lot to offer

16/05/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance for dinner and it was a lovely discovery: excellent food, very well prepared and tasty (borage ravioli and octopus tentacle). The welcome was more than warm: the owner even provided us with valuable information for our travel itinerary! We recommend it 👌
07/05/2026: Osteria del Cavolo is a beautiful little place in Finale Borgo, run by a lovely husband and wife who made us feel at home... we will be back, the food was very, very good.
