The menu is varied, with gluten-free options as well. Antonella and the entire staff were very attentive to my needs, recommending the best dishes.
We tried: farinata with mussels, a real treat, highly recommended; trofie with pesto, an evergreen; and panigacci (gluten-free), a delicious discovery!
We also recommend their shop: Gli Orti di Porto Venere, with many artisanal products.

Easter Monday lunch, which should be light but delicious. The salad with caramelized onion and pieces of farinata was delicious, the anchovies in oil with a hint of thyme were delicious, and the fried stuffed anchovies were delicious! The trofie with pesto was excellent. The only complaint was that the baby octopus wasn't as juicy and spicy as I'd expected. A bottle of Monogram Saten was overpriced, but not that expensive for Portovenere. We'll be back! P.S. They also gave me water for the dog and a slice of cooked ham.

A wonderful Saturday lunch experience with the family; excellent mixed seafood appetizer, sgabei pasta with homemade pesto, excellent olive oil from their own production, beautifully prepared fish en papillote and mixed fried fish, and a bottle of house white wine. The staff and owner were very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was quiet, and the price was more than fair for the high quality.
We were intrigued by their gardens in the hills above Portovenere, and even a simple pizza didn't disappoint: meticulous attention to detail in the dough creates a unique fragrance, lightness, and digestibility, even on the crust...not to mention the freshest, zero-mile ingredients (homegrown vegetables and oil). It's not cheap, but the quality and quantity are worth it. A veranda overlooking the sea, prompt service, and a great sense of humor.
