10/04/2026: Tonight we had a guest from out of town and we made a great impression with our tastings of focaccia, cheese focaccia, farinata, and pizza with crescenza! The prices were so fair that no one would have guessed they'd gotten it right. The cheese focaccia is light and super digestible! Highly recommended.

15/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who lives and works in Rapallo. It's a superior restaurant with generous portions (meat and fish) and fair prices. It's not glamorous, but it's excellent cuisine with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Perfectly family-run for over half a century... because the apple always falls near the tree.

Excellent experience.
The restaurant is air-conditioned, which certainly doesn't hurt on these hot, humid evenings.
Excellent ingredients, a good variety of dishes, and a classic yet refined flavor.
The service was very courteous, with detailed descriptions of the dishes and very welcome recommendations. Kindness can make all the difference on these occasions.
Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: A very welcoming, old-school trattoria. My wife and I had panissa and frisceu for appetizers, followed by two portions of farinata, one chickpea and one white. We had two excellent craft beers, and since we were full, I ordered a sardenaria to go, which I enjoyed the next day—delicious! Excellent value, and friendly staff. The only downside, not attributable to the restaurant, is that it's located in the city center, making parking quite difficult.

The dough is perfectly light, airy, and easy to digest, and the pizzas were loaded with incredibly fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was impressively fast and friendly, creating a welcoming vibe while we were waiting! Definitely recommended 👌🏻.

15/05/2026: Excellent experience at Ruscin restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly and attentive. The ravioli were truly delicious, well-made and flavorful, while the tagliata was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The wine selection was also good, with interesting options that paired well with the dishes. Overall, a very satisfying dinner, highly recommended.

06/05/2026: There's still work to be done with the cuisine; it's currently a bit weak. What topics are needed? The cuisine overall is weak. The pasta was served twice with too much salt, the fish wasn't fully cooked, and even the bread was of poor quality. The problem isn't finding "topics," but working on the cuisine and the quality of the dishes.

04/07/2026: The pizzas were fantastic! We stopped by chance, and the N40 and N61 were spectacular—the best pizzas we've had so far while traveling in Italy. Pleasant, quiet, family-friendly atmosphere and excellent service. We highly recommend it.

28/06/2026: We accidentally came across this place while exploring the narrow streets of the old city. It has a wonderful, quiet, and cozy atmosphere. We stayed for dinner, enjoyed a few drinks, and had the trofie al pesto - the taste was unforgettable! Card payment accepted, and I'd especially mention attentive and friendly staff, who made our visit even more enjoyable.

Nice setting in the piazza in Borgo Parasio.
The menu leaves no choice: either a tasting menu or an appetizer with no idea what you'll get, a first course, and a second course, all seafood. Fine...
The seafood first course was spaghetti with mussels.
I didn't think miniature mussels measuring max 2 cm in shell existed here.
I can't even find them that small at the supermarket.
In a seaside town, it seems like a joke.
At least the pasta was good.
The dessert, nothing exceptional, just average.
The portions were very average.
I think it's better to order the tasting menu, even though it would increase the choice of the traditional menu.
18/06/2026: What a dining establishment. I cannot say anything negative about this ristorante. Everything was delicious. And all of that from a small kitchen. Truly perfect. The staff also knows what they are talking about. Thanks on behalf of my wife as well for the excellent care. CLASSIC.

19/07/2026: I hate to give this osteria in my city a low rating, but the service was embarrassing. My vegan sister was served spaghetti with olive oil, even after explicitly requesting cherry tomatoes or any other vegetables. We were offered red or white wine, without a list and without prompting us to browse the cellar, which we later discovered was well-stocked and even included natural wine, which we are very fond of (I produce it). There was a rather long wait even just to get water at the beginning (we were a table of 12). Good food, ridiculous portions, truly anachronistic. A missed opportunity to have a popular place in a beautiful setting in the city center, where they know how to cook.
18/07/2026: A wonderful experience, excellent dishes offering a great introduction to local cuisine. A warm atmosphere, and the servers and owner were professional and friendly. Thank you all.

09/07/2026: We had a great time...a lovely evening accompanied by exquisite and inviting dishes...accompanied by a remarkable sparkling wine by the glass...it makes the stress of the day go away...
It was difficult to find a seat, but now with the WhatsApp system everything is quicker and easier.
What else to say, except great!

25/06/2026: When you watch those reels about typical Ligurian hospitality...you can also take inspiration from the owners of this trattoria. Basic service, to put it mildly. The customer matters little. No alternatives...either this or that. No attention to those with intolerances or celiac disease like me. Not even a 0.99 piece of rice cakes from a discount supermarket. Something I found in a refuge at 2000 meters. In short, you don't feel like a customer who cares. A bad feeling. Very simple menu, again this or this point. Poor value for money. Otherwise, it's heaven. I lived here as a child. My grandmother used to take me to get Mottarello right at the Baretto after leaving kindergarten. What a shame.

04/08/2026: We had dinner for two at this little restaurant in Bordighera Alta.
The atmosphere was magnificent and romantic under the stone arcades amidst the narrow streets of this medieval town.
The owner is truly gracious and knows how to entertain her guests. The food is good, the portions generous, and the price fair.
Highly recommended, but book in advance because there aren't many seats; in the summer, they only eat outside.
We ordered three appetizers, one main course, a glass of wine, two waters, dessert, and a cover charge, and spent €88.
02/08/2026: We were confident despite the change in management and the mixed reviews. Unfortunately, despite having booked well in advance, we were given a table for two even though there were four of us... oh well.
The appetizers weren't bad, but the main courses were a real disaster!
The staff was nice and helpful, but definitely could be better on all fronts.
