27/08/2025: Angelo's was recommended to me as the best focaccia in Recco, and indeed it is. Recco cheese focaccia is the best I've ever eaten. My family also loved it, and they were amazed by its deliciousness! No, that's not true! It's not expensive at all. In fact, excellent value for money!! We'll be back soon!

10/08/2025: We had lunch outside on the small terrace. The selection was limited but very tasty. We also had the homemade (still warm) cake for dessert. The atmosphere is lovely on a small square in the old town. Only open for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays.

24/04/2025: Ristorante molto accogliente e piacevole la sede principale è su tre piani ed è stato ristrutturato alcuni particolari sono interessanti come come la cantina, comunque si mangia fuori nella piazza dei prati e dei frati poi c'è una succursale in Piazza Barbieri ugualmente piacevole, in entrambi si mangia e beve molto bene piatti della tradizione Ligure.

21/07/2025: I must say we had a truly wonderful experience at Ristorante Garibaldi. We ate in the small outdoor piazza, nestled between the houses of the village of Bordighera Alta: a charming and peaceful setting, perfect for a pleasant evening. The welcome was truly warm and friendly, with attentive and attentive service from the staff, always available without being intrusive. We ordered fried fish, perfectly soft and crispy, a truly delicious fish couscous, a rich and flavorful mackerel prepared according to tradition, and a simple but well-executed pasta with clams. The portions were definitely satisfying, and the price seemed fair for the quality and location. A place we recommend, especially for those who love Ligurian flavors and the authentic atmosphere of the old town.

19/08/2025: We had dinner on August 19th. It's a quaint place, but it's a shame about the plastic plants (in Liguria?). The service could be improved. The quality of the first courses was unsatisfactory: onion dominates everything!

06/08/2025: We come here a lot as a family and we are in love with it. Things have gotten pricier, but that is to be expected, with how everything is. The food is delicious and well worth it - our favourites are the farinata, trofie al pesto, and minestrone :)

The place is truly characteristic: a peaceful corner among the greenery, perfect for those seeking relaxation and good authentic Ligurian cuisine. The dishes are exceptional, genuine and abundant: special mention for the focaccette, irresistible and fragrant! But what makes this place truly special is the kindness of Mrs. Tamara, a Ukrainian lady who with her sympathy and ENERGY gave us a lunch full of smiles. Such a warm welcome is rare to find nowadays. In addition, the prices are very honest: an excellent quality-price ratio for such genuine cuisine. Highly recommended for those who love good food and a sincere welcome. We will definitely be back!

You can park easily along the road. As appetizers we ordered various focaccias, gongorzola and distracchino focaccias, a Russian salad and cuculli. As first courses, pesto battolli, ravioli with meat sauce, tagliolini with mushrooms and 2 chestnut lasagnette with walnut sauce. As dessert: 3 lemon sorbets 1 vodka sorbet 1 panna cotta with strawberries Really everything was good, delicious, abundant. The Ukrainian waitress was welcoming, smiling, competent, professional, friendly and helpful and the service was very attentive and fast and the prices were really good.
