05/01/2026: If you're in the area, I highly recommend this deli for lunch! Amazing dishes, including the trofie and fritto misto! We ate hot and well-served! Excellent value! For a deli in Santa Margherita Ligure, I couldn't have been more pleased with the bill!
11/11/2025: I would like to give a huge shout out to Deborah and staff for rescuing us when presented with a train strike.The day of the strike we were to catch three trains and then the only flight to Mykonos that week. They went over and beyond spending considerable time to secure us a taxi. Thank you, we will be forever grateful. Also we would like to complement you on our meal that evening, it was most enjoyable.

03/08/2025: Pochi tavoli all'aperto; qualcuno in più all'interno. Solida cucina locale. Prezzi decisamente contenuti, per la qualità proposta. Molti avventori del luogo (ottimo segno!). Il titolare e i Collaboratori vi offriranno un servizio corretto e sollecito.

Impeccable service in the dining room and kitchen, a varied and interesting wine list with quality options at reasonable prices. Absolutely worth the trip, unmissable.

29/11/2025: A quaint restaurant in Prino. We ate well, the trio of appetizers was interesting. I really liked the swordfish roll, the fried food was a bit salty, the first courses were also good (tagliatelle with squid and artichokes), and the desserts were average... it's a shame we left with the smell of fried food on us, but both in terms of price and quality it's a good place...

The ingredients are of excellent quality, presented with care and attention to detail, enhancing the authentic flavors of the cuisine. The waitress was extremely friendly and professional, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. The setting, with just a few tables and an open kitchen, conveys a sense of intimacy and transparency: you can watch the dishes being prepared, all meticulously brought to the table. A place where everything is perfect: the atmosphere, the service, and the dishes. Highly recommended for those seeking a genuine gastronomic experience with attention to detail. Exceptional welcome and service. Quality food, presented with care and attention. Highly recommended.

27/10/2025: Perfect location but overpriced and unfriendly with a limited choice of food. The pesto pasta was the worst ive ever tasted. It was way short of aldente with the pesto not even fully mixed in and served almost cold. For €16 i had hoped for better. The muscles were small wizened and not very fresh. The staff turned away lots of potential customers who only wanted coffee which seemed churlish when they were not busy and were the only place open in Bonassola. Could do a lot better.
26/10/2025: Everything was delicious, especially the creamed cod, but also the spaghetti with squid ink. The owners were incredibly friendly and professional. We highly recommend it.

12/01/2026: Quiet place, very friendly and quick waitress, shame about the mixed fried fish and fries... The fries were cold, and the fried fish was barely warm and hard... the dessert, however, was quite good. I definitely won't be back.

26/01/2026: Da Angelo is certainly no longer what I knew. The dishes served don't rise above mediocrity. Perhaps it was a quiet night, but the menu was rather limited. The service is inattentive, and the atmosphere is decidedly tired.

08/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was significantly below expectations. For what we ate, it was absolutely expensive. It was €42 per person, which became €40 for: 6 mixed appetizers - two cuculli, some panissa, some Russian salad, a sort of mini focaccia with stracchino cheese... maybe some farinata... I don't want to be wrong, but I think it was there. It was all decided by the owner with no other alternative. The portions were small, and obviously the cost is unknown since there's no menu. 5 first courses and a tripe... I don't know if it was considered a first or second course, but it makes little difference. The tripe was good, nothing special, but a real treat. The first courses were nothing special. The mandilli with pesto were good, but still simple. The spaghetti with octopus had very little sauce. Two of them had veal with tuna sauce and fried calamari. The latter were mushy. 6 desserts were nothing special. A bottle of Nebbiolo... here too, like everything else, there's no menu, so you don't know the price, or what wine it is; they bring it already opened. The historic shop is fine, but that doesn't mean we're stuck in 1980; it means carrying on traditions, but in 2025. Too bad, we were all hoping for something better, but for €40 I'd like to choose carefully what to eat and drink and know the cost. I can't say I ate badly, but eating well is something else. It felt like a home-cooked dinner. Tried it and that was it.
22/09/2025: I visited this trattoria with a group of 14 friends. The fixed menu cost €40 and included appetizers, a first course, a second course, dessert, coffee, and a liqueur. The only real positive was the atmosphere: comfortable and familiar. Otherwise, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. • Appetizers: sparse and not very generous. A tiny portion of Russian salad, a cucullo, and a small amount of panissa. • First course: mandilli with mushroom sauce served in a baking dish so small it had to be shared between 4 or 5 people. It's a shame, because the sauce was good, but the quantities were truly ridiculous. • Second course: pork loin with potatoes and mushrooms. This was truly absurd: a slice so small it looked like a slice of Hungarian salami. The waiter, noticing our disappointment, asked if we wanted more, but even then they were extremely stingy. • Dessert: Calling a "green apple sorbet" a dessert, especially after such small portions, is truly embarrassing. The flavor was awful and completely unworthy of a €40 menu. Furthermore, the wait between courses was long. Bread was always available, but it seemed more like a ploy to fill customers' stomachs than actual service. I don't eat bread, so I basically went hungry. The staff, to be fair, was kind, but that doesn't make up for the menu management and overall poor quality. Conclusion: €40 wasted. A pizza would have been much better. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend this restaurant.
