08/10/2025: We don't really understand the rating of this restaurant. We had pizzas, among other things, and they were very good. The staff is very friendly and the setting is beautiful. A very nice restaurant that deserves more than 3.6* at the time of this review.

12/10/2025: Very bad. The rude manager treated us rudely. He didn't provide a detailed receipt with the prices. We overspent compared to what we ate. This is not how you treat customers. This place should be removed from our list. I will never recommend it to anyone again. No written menu with prices is provided.

29/09/2025: The atmosphere is very simple and a bit dated. The service is friendly and fast. The dishes are very simple (appetizer: mixed cured meats, Russian salad, and melon; first course: ravioli with ragù, tagliolini with mushroom sauce, pesto lasagna; second course: mixed Italian-style fried fish, cima, veal with tuna sauce, roast beef, etc.), traditional Genoese food, all good. What really bothered me was not having a menu with the prices of the dishes. I made a mistake in not asking for the prices of everything. The final price was a bit steep.

23/08/2025: A truly welcoming establishment, with a very friendly owner who explained the various amenities in the area to us. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was very generous for a 2-star hotel. Excellent parking, and there's even a spare one (in case the first one is full). The hotel itself also has a bar with a tobacconist and a ticket office for the bus that takes you down to Framura and various nearby places. There's also an excellent restaurant below the hotel with divine food. We'll be back.

11/11/2025: Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing in many ways. The salty food and overcooked pasta compromised the quality of the main courses. The portions were small. The fried dishes lacked flavor and were bland. The wait times were excessively long, almost unacceptable. The only positive aspect was the dessert, which partially redeemed the evening, but definitely not enough to warrant returning.

04/11/2025: A trattoria in the Ligurian hinterland in charming Lumarzo. We had lunch in the main dining room, where the atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by, with lots of photos and a lovely fireplace. The day was perfect for lighting it. The ingredients were good, and the dishes were delicious. I expected a little more from the ravioli, but they were a bit disappointing. The main courses were very good, although the portions could have been a little more generous. The dessert was the best. The wait for the dishes was very long, perhaps too crowded. All in all, a great experience.

29/10/2025: Let's start with the positives: Beautiful place and excellent food (especially the desserts). Now: Sunday lunch, and at 1:30 the bread was "out," appalling service with a rude waiter who brought us completely dirty plates. You can't have cheese at the table; they grate it directly onto your pasta and clothes (a dusting of 2-3 grams at most, lest they use too much). €15 for a tartare on a huge plate with a couple of drops of sauce, not even a sprig of salad. €3 cover charge per person and they brought us pieces of dry focaccia and three mini sandwiches (there were 8 of us). Despite the excellent quality of the food, I won't be returning.

19/10/2025: Excellent quality food, moderately high prices, but justified by the quality of the ingredients. Awkward service. A sad atmosphere.

02/11/2025: Rustic and old-fashioned, warm and welcoming. The staff is truly friendly and professional. Lots of Ligurian dishes, all excellent.

01/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant; the location is pleasant and the staff very friendly. The food is a shame: the cheese focaccia, as mentioned in other reviews, is very lacking in cheese and the dough lacks salt in my opinion. The seafood spaghetti is plentiful, but the quality of the fish left much to be desired, and above all, the steep price (€38) is inexcusable, given that you only order two portions. The desserts are neither excellent nor laudable, but the price of those, too, is not commensurate with the quality. Overall, the price is too salty for the quality of the food. I would not recommend it.

09/10/2025: We tried it after driving past dozens of times and were pleasantly surprised, so much so that we had lunch there several times this August. Excellent products, fast service, and reasonable prices (for Santa).

12/11/2025: Highly recommended for a business lunch. I didn't eat à la carte, but what I saw seemed excellent and of excellent quality. Fast and efficient. It's best to arrive by 12:00, otherwise you'll have to settle (that's understandable, it means they make everything quickly, without waste).

08/11/2025: Frozen products, I ordered octopus and I received 3 pieces that had spent 10 years in the freezer; laughable table service with 10 waiters who thought they were out selling fish; the owner, who when it was time to pay, after asking if anyone was there to collect the money, replied "BUT YOU WERE BORN OF THE FIRST PIECE" as if she had known me for years. Oh my, a nightmare.

02/09/2025: The pansotti with walnut sauce are divine. Service is a bit slow, but the food is excellent.

19/08/2025: Liguria's story. If you want to be treated like a star, or have all the comforts you need, you've made the wrong choice in your vacation and/or culinary experience.

27/04/2025: In famiglia siamo stati a pranzo dal Ristorante Bertin per il giorno di Pasqua che per noi è ormai un appuntamento fisso da anni per la famiglia. Si mangia sempre molto bene in questo ristorante, ma qualcosa è cambiato! Quest'ultima volta si sono davvero superati alzando di molto l'asticella sia in termini di qualità che di presentazione dei piatti, al punto di voler fare i complimenti ai cuochi. Devo dire infatti che è per noi, il miglior posto dove mangiare e ritrovarsi per le feste, perché sia per cordialità e attenzione, ci fanno sentire sempre come a casa nostra. Il locale è molto accogliente, ben decorato anche sui tavoli dove ci sono le ovette di cioccolato, ambiente super pulito e spazioso. Abbiamo cominciato il pranzo con un antipasto a più portate freddo e caldo misto. Poi come primi Ravioli al sugo di carne (superlativi), tagliatelle al sugo di funghi e al pesto. Come secondo, arrosto di vitello con patatine fritte davvero ottimo e cima alla genovese. Come dolce torta al cocco con sbriciolata di cioccolato e panna e fetta di colomba preparate dalla pasticcera Elisa del ristorante Bertin. Nota particolare, che per ogni piatto di per se è una porzione già molto generosa, ci hanno offerto il bis e il tris, il ché è stato molto apprezzato perché tutto molto buono. Vino, bibite, ghiaccio a volontà e caffe sono tutti inclusi. Piatti consigliati: Ravioli al sugo di carne. Tagliatelle al sugo di funghi e al pesto. Insalata russa e vitello tonnato Torta al cioccolato e panna della casa. Il locale è provvisto di area verde relax esterna e amplio parcheggio. Nota natalizia, la chiesa di fronte ha un apprezzabile presepe sull'esterno. Opzioni per il parcheggio Parcheggio senza costi, parcheggio molto amplio in strada senza costi. Vivamente consigliato a chi vuole trascorrere una piacevole giornata in campagna mangiando buon cibo casalingo, servito con grande cortesia e attenzione. 20/04/2025: Dopo tanti anni che ne sentivo parlare da amici,siamo andati a verificare di persona la cucina di Bertin. Ed in effetti tutto ciò che di buono abbiamo sentito a riguardo è pienamente confermato. Servizio simpatico e puntualissimo,vasta scelta di portate ed ottima qualità delle proposte il tutto ad un buon rapporto prezzo/qualità.

04/10/2025: A unique place with excellent food, exceptional service, and a stunning sea view. We had dinner here after our wedding and couldn't have chosen better – everything was thought out down to the smallest detail, and the atmosphere made the evening one we'll remember for a long time.

28/09/2025: Of you're a solo traveler, don't bother. They won't serve you. Instead they pretend they're all full (reserved). Unlikely with no reservation signs and almost no people around. It's a common thing in this region but still annoying.
