24/08/2024: Nice restaurant located in the historic center of Bordighera. The staff is smiling, friendly and professional, the service attentive and attentive and the dishes delicious. The tagliatelle with anchovies and the ravioli with sea bass and Taggiasca olives are highly recommended: beautiful to look at and delicious to eat; the frying is also tasty but not greasy! 09/08/2024: We returned again this summer, bringing new friends. Excellent price/quality ratio. Varied cuisine for all palates of good quality and not skimping on quantity. We dined with still and fruity loose white "ribolla" of good drink to savor fish, starters and white meats. Homemade desserts with a special mention of stuffed peaches. 09/08/2024: Of course, dear reader, I would now like to share with you my impressions of a restaurant I recently visited in Italy. It was on a warm summer evening when I crossed the threshold of the establishment that connoisseurs of the culinary arts had praised as a pearl in the wealth of what was on offer. And indeed, the splendor of the dishes on offer, prepared with such finesse and precision that even the most discerning palate could find no cause for complaint, awakened in me the deepest feeling of satisfaction. The starters, consisting of antipasti of such freshness and richness that reflected the essence of Italian cuisine in its purest form, opened the dance of delights. This was followed by a Primo Piatto, whose al dente cooked pasta, covered in a sugo that was so full-bodied and harmonious that one could taste the sunshine and earth of Italy in its fullness of flavor, far exceeded my expectations. The secondo piatto, a delicately prepared piece of fish whose delicacy and delicacy made each bite a small epiphany, also completed the picture of a cuisine that, in its perfection, would be worthy of philosophical consideration. However, and here I come to a point that I regret to mention, the experience as a whole failed to reach the heights of transcendental bliss that it promised in culinary terms. The service, which in such an establishment acts as an intermediary between the work of the cook and the person enjoying it, was deficient to an extent that not only significantly disrupted the joy of the moment, but also the harmony of the whole. The servants of this house, whose duty it is to act with care and courtesy, displayed a kind of carelessness and indifference that is difficult to excuse. Not only was the wine only served after repeated requests, but the answers to polite inquiries were characterized by such brevity and impatience that one found oneself in an atmosphere of discomfort that completely contradicts the purpose of such a noble establishment. In addition, the significant delay in service led to long waiting times between courses, which significantly slowed down the flow of the meal and noticeably reduced the enjoyment of the food. Here, dear readers, we are presented with an instructive parable: Even the most exquisite pleasures of the palate require external, mediating conditions in order to fully develop their effect. Where service fails, even the chef's masterpiece loses its appeal and the sensual pleasure that the food could give us remains incomplete. It is therefore to be hoped that those responsible for this restaurant will be able to resolve this obvious discrepancy between cuisine and service as soon as possible so that the overall experience, as philosophy dictates, no longer falls short of the limits of perfection.

28/08/2024: Definitely retro atmosphere but it has its reason and it works. Attentive and helpful service. Excellent raw materials! If I could, I would have given the breaded anchovies 10 stars. Tasty and masterfully fried without drying them out. The lime and ginger sorbet is worth it. Definitely advantageous prices compared to the quality offered. Definitely coming back.

27/08/2024: I was there this summer with my partner. One of the trattorias in Finale Liguria that maintain authenticity while allowing you to savor typical Ligurian flavors and traditions. Excellent value for money, fresh food cooked by expert hands. The simple but typically well-kept location is also very nice, the owner is friendly and the staff is more than helpful. I highly recommend it.

03/09/2024: Natürlich hat es uns nach Poggio verschlagen und natürlich mussten wir das Restaurant das dort abgebildet war besuchen. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Eine traumhafte Aussicht und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Trattoria war sehr gut besucht und wir haben den Eindruck gehabt, dass Touristen aber auch viele verschiedene Insulaner die Location gerne besuchen. Ein Highlight war zu Beginn, dass unserer. Vegetariern die für sie geeigneten Gerichte erklärt wurden. Ebenfalls ist die Karte sehr ansprechend und nicht abgehoben. Viele verschiedene ligurische/ traditionelle Gerichte. Und alles frisch zubereitet. Sehr lecker war die Pasta aber auch das Pesto oder das Wildschwein. Und der Eintopf grandios gewürzt. Klare Empfehlung! Und danke für ein schönes Mittagessen. P.S. Die Toilette ist sehr nostalgisch und sauber.

12/08/2024: The location overlooking the sea is really excellent, with the windows open you could hear the sound of the waves and it was very romantic. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is impeccable, we loved every dish and would go back every time I pass through Alassio. The best seafood risotto I've ever eaten! Very recommended!

28/08/2024: Senti l'infotraffico e ti avvisano che c'è l'ennesima coda sull'autostrada. È mezzogiorno,esci dal casello e adocchi questo localino che capisci già all'entrata che accontenterà la tua pancia vuota e gorgogliante. Entri e trovi una biondina molto cordiale che ti fa accomodare e con il suo sorriso elenca i piatti fuori dal menù, ricco già di per sé. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, i piatti di terra e di mare,un pò diversi dal solito soddisfano i palati più esigenti...secondo me, mi ci fermerei. Nelle foto, una porzione di ravioli alla boscaiolo,con funghi e una grattata di tartufo e il simpatico e variegato fritto misto all'italiana. Voto:10

14/08/2024: Excellent cuisine, shame about the messy and slow service. We booked and still had to wait for the table, drinks arrived at the end of the appetizer and fish ended up in the kitchen so we had to change a first course and cancel the second course. Honest prices.

22/08/2024: We were there with a tent as a couple, without booking in July and without any problems. Everything is there and very quiet. Sanitary was very clean and tidy. Our motorbikes were parked almost directly at the tent and there are a few parking spaces on site. 10 minutes walk to the sea and center. Safe with charging current available. Restaurant with very nice service. Great base for Chinque Terre - we went by boat - highly recommended.

12/08/2024: If you intend to dine at the Osteria dell'Olio Grosso I advise you to get started well in advance. In fact they have the bad habit of always being full even a week or two early. The explanation is simple; the place, even if outdoors, does not have many tables and therefore…. Once you reach the tavern, however, you will be rewarded by the beauty of the place. At the top of Borgo Parasio; in the corner at the end of via Parasio you can enjoy the view of the village and the large tree-lined area. Even on hot summer evenings the climate and temperature are extremely pleasant and guarantee a wonderful evening. The tavern works on two shifts therefore: if you choose the first shift at 8.00 pm you will have much more choice on the menu, while if you choose the second shift at 9.30 pm, you will have the opportunity to finish dinner in peace and enjoy the breeze of the evening and the magic of the place. Unfortunately, every choice has its price to pay. Having chosen the second round, in fact, we were given a different appetizer from the one chosen (brandacujun finished by those who came before us) and a sea bream from the supermarket as the catch of the day. Both the replacement starter and the sea bream were cooked well without defects but, frankly, the expectations were different. Ultimately: five-star location, mediocre service (slightly long waiting times, dishes served on the wrong side, hot wine), good cuisine, menu: I hope that the one available for the first round was in line with the images published on the site . All in all a good experience, spent a nice evening and ate well. Expectations remain disappointed

25/07/2024: Come sempre non si smentisce, il nostro posto! Ogni anno tappa fissa qualità prezzo giusta. Cucina a base si pesce cucinato in modo spettacolare. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione, composto da 3 antipasti, 2 primi, 1 secondo e dessert con vino incluso della casa. Tanti assaggi uno più buono dell’altro. Posto tranquillissimo, Stra consigliato!
