10/04/2026: The welcome was good, but we were surprised at the end of the meal to be charged €2 per bottle of tap water and €2 per breadstick, which seemed to be complimentary as they were already on the table. As a result, for four people, we incurred an extra €10 surprise at the end of the meal for water and breadsticks we hadn't ordered...

05/04/2026: For €30 each, we ate wonderfully: the ravioli with ragù and wild boar were exceptional, as was the tiramisu! The complimentary appetizer (cuculli and panisse) was also delicious, and the focaccia was delicious. The house white wine was decent, and the service was attentive.
Excellent value, we'll be back!

The service can be slow at times because the dishes are freshly prepared, so there's a wait between courses. The waitress is good, but she can't do more.
The restaurant is small but welcoming, nestled in the beautiful Borgo Castello area of Loano, at the foot of the Sanctuary of Mount Carmel, an abbey of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers.

03/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve here. The food was excellent. The dessert was okay. The seating was much too close together for my taste. It could have been decorated more appropriately for the occasion.
At midnight, they were eagerly waiting for us to pay and leave. A shame.
But all in all, it was a lovely evening.

We stopped in an emergency because we wouldn't have had lunch otherwise, given the delay due to traffic on the highway.
The very kind owner agreed to wait for us and greeted us in an exemplary manner.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
The quality of the products was truly excellent.
We'll definitely visit again, perhaps more slowly.
From the phone calls I received while I was there, I think it's advisable to book beforehand.
