20/08/2026: Camping with 10 min to the beach. And 10 min by bike to Conad Food Store. 30 min to the train station. The thermostat on the water didn't always work ice cold water or boiling hot. The internet never works. You have to pay the same amount for a large place as a medium-sized place for a camper, which feels really bad.

20/08/2026: Disappointing campsite. Unfriendly welcome from a man who shows you to your pitch. Toilet paper not always available. The bar/pizzeria is only open when the staff feels like it; it was closed on Tuesday, August 18th without any explanation, and closed every day at lunchtime, so getting coffee is impossible… Otherwise, the location is good, not far from the sea and the train station on foot.

18/08/2026: Terrible. We had lunch here as a family, drawn by the inexplicable positive reviews. The place is poorly maintained and dirty, and the food is mediocre. The service is the place's real problem. Waiters and cooks can be seen through the kitchen door, wearing wrinkled clothes, chatting calmly among themselves. A customer, probably an acquaintance, came in and out of the kitchen undisturbed, carrying a child in his arms, who also happened to be passing by a cook inside. We were dismissed after almost 30 minutes of sitting down, and the dishes we ate were not up to par with what the reviews call traditional and historic cuisine. Not recommended at all.

Hand-crafted first courses include ravioli with ragù and pansoti with walnut sauce, followed by tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, lasagnette, or trofie with pesto. For main courses, the house specialty is a rich Italian-style fritto misto, enough to feed two. Meat lovers will appreciate Piedmontese Fassona tartare, roast beef with herbs, veal with tuna sauce, Ligurian-style rabbit with olives, battered cod with panissette, fried focaccia filled with cheese, fried porcini mushrooms, and more. Classic desserts like tiramisu, grandma's pudding with chocolate sauce, panna cotta, and a classic tart with homemade fruit compote. The wine cellar offers a wide selection of select wines, including house wines. Generous dishes and reasonable prices! The entire group was satisfied!

14/08/2026: We went to Luchin last night. A young man greeted us and immediately seated us without letting us read the menu, which is located outside the restaurant. Once we were seated, no one gave us the menus (which don't exist), nor did they tell us to go outside to read them. After more than 20 minutes, the young man approached to take our order without us actually reading the menu. At this, I got up to take a photo and calmly read it at the table because the young man had offered to read it to us but without specifying the prices. We were seated at a table for 6, where initially there was already a couple on the other side of the table who left shortly afterward. Almost immediately, the table filled up again to its maximum capacity, so there were three couples sitting at the same table. Yes, we were warned, but it was avoidable because a table behind us had been empty for over half an hour, but no one bothered to clear it, so we found ourselves "strangers" at the table with us. As for the food, we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was truly excellent. We split the stuffed mussels, followed by a plate of trofie with pesto each, and finally shared an octopus salad. Truly excellent!! There's no coffee at this place, so you'll have to find a local bar. As for the price, it might be a little too high despite the excellent quality, but that's for the context. If you have a lot of patience and don't mind what I described above, I recommend it. Otherwise, it might be better to consider something else in the same area.

14/08/2026: 1000000/10 food, the staff was quick we got our food in minutes… plus this is GENUINE ITALIAN FOOD. This made my trip!!!! They don’t speak English well but it was completely fine when she had an issue there was another staff there to help!

04/08/2026: This restaurant is excellent. The speed of service is a real highlight: we didn't have to wait to eat. We didn't even need a reservation. Our waiter, Louay, was very kind, pleasant, and extremely fast. He was always on the go, but remained available and attentive despite the language barrier. We thank him again for his professionalism and unparalleled speed! The dishes were very good, and the prices are excellent. The value for money is truly generous. In my opinion, the pesto served here is delicious! We do have one small point to mention: we were seated in a room without air conditioning, and it was really very hot. Apart from that, everything was excellent. It's a shame about the lack of air conditioning, but a big thank you to Louay for his warm welcome and efficiency!

03/08/2026: Highly recommended! You can enjoy high-quality traditional food at very affordable prices. The only downside was that there was no AC inside, and the fans weren't quite enough for the summer heat.

19/08/2026: We booked online and didn't realize we needed to specify a terrace spot. When we arrived, the lady told us we'd have to pay a €15 DEPOSIT to reserve a terrace spot, but she didn't offer us any. We assumed they were fully booked. At the end of the dinner, we saw some seats still available and asked how to secure a terrace spot. It turned out we had to pay an EXTRA €15 (not a deposit). We left annoyed because we weren't offered the extra fee, which we would have gladly paid, given that there were still seats available. The food was decent, but the ravioli were overcooked and a good 20% of the tables were open. In any case, the price was too high for the overall quality.

16/08/2026: It was a wonderful experience: authentic dishes, cooked with passion, carefully presented, and brought to the table with smiles and elegance. All in an enchanting location, which made the experience even more special. My son's birthday dinner left a wonderful memory for all of us.

10/04/2026: Tonight we had a guest from out of town and we made a great impression with our tastings of focaccia, cheese focaccia, farinata, and pizza with crescenza! The prices were so fair that no one would have guessed they'd gotten it right. The cheese focaccia is light and super digestible! Highly recommended.

15/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who lives and works in Rapallo. It's a superior restaurant with generous portions (meat and fish) and fair prices. It's not glamorous, but it's excellent cuisine with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Perfectly family-run for over half a century... because the apple always falls near the tree.

30/07/2026: My husband and I went for dinner tonight. Excellent experience. The restaurant is air-conditioned, which certainly doesn't hurt on these hot, humid evenings. Excellent ingredients, a good variety of dishes, and a classic yet refined flavor. The service was very courteous, with detailed descriptions of the dishes and very welcome recommendations. Kindness can make all the difference on these occasions. Highly recommended.
