13/07/2026: A restaurant located outside the town, on a hill with a beautiful view of the entire gulf. Excellent food and a very comfortable atmosphere where you can enjoy a lovely evening.

08/08/2026: My partner and I had a delightful experience at Cavi Borgo. We were welcomed into an elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere, with friendly but not overly formal waiters. Excellent food, perfectly timed, reasonably priced, and generous portions. The owner, a sommelier, personally knows the wineries on the list and gave us excellent recommendations. The wine list offers a wide selection of Italian and international wines, including many natural wines (oddly enough!). For wine connoisseurs, there's an excellent cellar. Recommended for a romantic dinner or a group dinner, but less so for large groups with children. Overall, this is the best restaurant in the area so far.

15/08/2026: €314.00 for Ferragosto for 7. 7 appetizers, 7 first courses, 6 second courses, 4 desserts, 4 coffees, maybe 5 bottles of water, 1.5 liters of wine. Everything was good, tasty home cooking, plentiful. It's okay, maybe a little long between courses, but with 7 guys serving 200 people, it's acceptable. Davide looked after us, kind, fast, and courteous. A typical restaurant stuck in the 70s and 80s... I'm attaching a photo for those nostalgic.

15/08/2026: Excellent and plentiful food. Typical Ligurian cuisine. There were eight of us and we ordered cured meats and Russian salad for appetizers, ravioli "au tuccu" (a kind of ravioli), mandilli with pesto, and tagliolini with mushroom sauce for the first course, and for the second course, fried pasta alla Genovese, followed by dessert and coffee. Everything was truly excellent.

04/11/2025: Everything is as it once was, many, many years ago, but perhaps a little more light would be needed, friendly Ligurian-style management, I would say that the portions, being a trattoria, might not be worthy of a starred restaurant.... It wouldn't go to waste, we really ate very little for a village trattoria and paid like a restaurant at lunchtime, the price for a first course, second course without side dish sweet and bitter (offered) and a bottle of Oltrepo Pavese wine is €30 per person. Anyway, I recommend it.

24/08/2026: The setting is pleasant, the price-quality ratio is good, and the food is of very high quality. We had mussels marinière as a starter, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi for my husband; everything was excellent. We had a good table on the terrace. The service was excellent, with friendly, smiling, and funny waiters. I recommend it.

09/08/2026: A simple restaurant in a small village a few kilometers from Pietra Ligure. The farinata is very good, but the rest of the dishes are nothing special, with small portions... To be satisfied, you need a full menu. When I go to a restaurant, I expect to eat better than at home... On a negative note, the sparkling water: served in an open glass bottle, probably from the tap, arrived at room temperature and completely flat. The desserts are very good. Personally, I wasn't thrilled.

25/07/2026: This traditional Ligurian trattoria has been around since 1959. It's family-run with an all-female team. It serves delicious, local Ligurian cuisine. Surrounded by greenery and tranquility, it's highly recommended.

25/05/2026: An old-fashioned hotel in a very pretty town. We stayed half board with an excellent breakfast and a good dinner. Excellent value for money. One of those hotels that are unfortunately becoming rarer. Excellent service. We'll return if we're in the area.

29/04/2026: We regularly eat at Amici, a local institution that has been run by the same family for over 200 years. The food is always delicious, made with local and seasonal products. The service is excellent, the house wine is good, and it is also very affordable. Highly recommended!

At my side, the company of the handsome Alberto, the charismatic Paolo, and the technical wisdom of the tennis master transformed a simple meal into a meeting of souls. ​Between a plate of excellent local cuisine and glasses of wine that spoke of the region, we breathed the true air of Liguria. I'm not just talking about the landscape, but about that essence made of sincere tones, typical expressions, and, above all, those "unsaid" things that go straight to the heart and touch deep chords. It was a symphony of humanity and tradition that made this lunch an experience to treasure. Thank you for giving me not only an unforgettable meal, but a slice of authentic life.

20/08/2026: Camping with 10 min to the beach. And 10 min by bike to Conad Food Store. 30 min to the train station. The thermostat on the water didn't always work ice cold water or boiling hot. The internet never works. You have to pay the same amount for a large place as a medium-sized place for a camper, which feels really bad.

20/08/2026: Disappointing campsite. Unfriendly welcome from a man who shows you to your pitch. Toilet paper not always available. The bar/pizzeria is only open when the staff feels like it; it was closed on Tuesday, August 18th without any explanation, and closed every day at lunchtime, so getting coffee is impossible… Otherwise, the location is good, not far from the sea and the train station on foot.
