20/08/2026: I was skeptical about letting an app choose a restaurant. The app analyzes the calories in the dish based on the photo I take. The fritters were included in my daily count and were good. The place is cozy and the service is quick.
09/08/2026: We arrived quite early, around 7 pm, and were the first customers. The waiter was extremely kind and explained the different dishes to us in French. The place is magnificent, and the terrace is absolutely beautiful. We each ordered a pasta dish, which was very good. Then, my partner ordered a daily special: ravioli with a fish broth that was simply delicious. I had potatoes, squid, and porcini mushrooms, which I found a little disappointing as it lacked balance. The ambiance and the other dishes were still delightful, though, and I highly recommend it.
Furthermore, ordering just one dish is enough to fill you up and keeps the cost down.

7 appetizers, 7 first courses, 6 second courses, 4 desserts, 4 coffees, maybe 5 bottles of water, 1.5 liters of wine.
Everything was good, tasty home cooking, plentiful. It's okay, maybe a little long between courses, but with 7 guys serving 200 people, it's acceptable.
Davide looked after us, kind, fast, and courteous.
A typical restaurant stuck in the 70s and 80s... I'm attaching a photo for those nostalgic.
15/08/2026: Excellent and plentiful food. Typical Ligurian cuisine. There were eight of us and we ordered cured meats and Russian salad for appetizers, ravioli "au tuccu" (a kind of ravioli), mandilli with pesto, and tagliolini with mushroom sauce for the first course, and for the second course, fried pasta alla Genovese, followed by dessert and coffee. Everything was truly excellent.

04/11/2025: Everything is as it once was, many, many years ago, but perhaps a little more light would be needed, friendly Ligurian-style management, I would say that the portions, being a trattoria, might not be worthy of a starred restaurant.... It wouldn't go to waste, we really ate very little for a village trattoria and paid like a restaurant at lunchtime, the price for a first course, second course without side dish sweet and bitter (offered) and a bottle of Oltrepo Pavese wine is €30 per person. Anyway, I recommend it.

24/08/2026: The setting is pleasant, the price-quality ratio is good, and the food is of very high quality. We had mussels marinière as a starter, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi for my husband; everything was excellent. We had a good table on the terrace. The service was excellent, with friendly, smiling, and funny waiters. I recommend it.

09/08/2026: A simple restaurant in a small village a few kilometers from Pietra Ligure.
The farinata is very good, but the rest of the dishes are nothing special, with small portions... To be satisfied, you need a full menu.
When I go to a restaurant, I expect to eat better than at home...
On a negative note, the sparkling water: served in an open glass bottle, probably from the tap, arrived at room temperature and completely flat.
The desserts are very good.
Personally, I wasn't thrilled.

And 10 min by bike to Conad Food Store.
30 min to the train station.
The thermostat on the water didn't always work ice cold water or boiling hot.
The internet never works.
You have to pay the same amount for a large place as a medium-sized place for a camper, which feels really bad.
20/08/2026: Disappointing campsite. Unfriendly welcome from a man who shows you to your pitch. Toilet paper not always available. The bar/pizzeria is only open when the staff feels like it; it was closed on Tuesday, August 18th without any explanation, and closed every day at lunchtime, so getting coffee is impossible…
Otherwise, the location is good, not far from the sea and the train station on foot.

25/05/2026: An old-fashioned hotel in a very pretty town. We stayed half board with an excellent breakfast and a good dinner. Excellent value for money. One of those hotels that are unfortunately becoming rarer. Excellent service. We'll return if we're in the area.
29/04/2026: We regularly eat at Amici, a local institution that has been run by the same family for over 200 years. The food is always delicious, made with local and seasonal products. The service is excellent, the house wine is good, and it is also very affordable. Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: A lovely surprise! A typical Ligurian restaurant specializing in fish, everything fresh and of excellent quality and price. The service is good. Kudos to the owner of the restaurant, who is particularly attentive to her customers. We will definitely be back next time.
21/07/2026: Good food reasonable (listed) pricing. Just beware of off the menu options as they are way overpriced (starters off the menu are twice as muchbthe mostvexpensive starter in the menu).... ask for prices if not shown!!! All ok otherwise.
