Anchovies with lemon, warm seafood salad, baked sea bream, stuffed calamari—all delicious.

02/05/2026: Delicious food; I recommend the paccheri and ravioli for the first course. For the second course, I ordered the rabbit after my girlfriend tried it. The staff were friendly, and the owner (?) was super nice. If I were to return to Genoa, I'd definitely dine here again!

06/07/2026: We have celebrated a 50th birthday for a friend here. Everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Menu was based on typical Ligurian specialities with arrangements for our vegan friends.
05/07/2026: Congratulations to Roberto and Leda for their excellent cuisine and kindness. We celebrated a special occasion with them and felt right at home, dining in the beautiful little square. We'll be back, as we always have during our holidays in Loano.

08/02/2026: Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Tasty first courses, but above all, the most beautiful and delicious capon magro in the western part of Italy. A challenging dish, but here the flavors are well-balanced, and the fish doesn't disappear into the vegetables. Definitely worth a try.

25/05/2026: An old-fashioned hotel in a very pretty town. We stayed half board with an excellent breakfast and a good dinner. Excellent value for money. One of those hotels that are unfortunately becoming rarer. Excellent service. We'll return if we're in the area.
29/04/2026: We regularly eat at Amici, a local institution that has been run by the same family for over 200 years. The food is always delicious, made with local and seasonal products. The service is excellent, the house wine is good, and it is also very affordable. Highly recommended!

15/06/2026: Nice cozy campsite. Really nice environment. Lots of trees, all places at least partially shaded. Clean toilets and showers. The staff manages everything efficiently. Even in June, reservations are necessary if you want to stay over the weekend.
14/06/2026: Perfectly located in the town. Walking distance to many restaurants and beach. Small campsites but you are in liguria so that was expected. I could hear the waves as i fell asleep - that is how close you are. Bathrooms fairly clean and area for washing dishes. Restaurant is ok but i would recommend going to town.

18/06/2026: A cozy restaurant like all old-fashioned restaurants. If you'd like to dine there, I recommend making a reservation. The family atmosphere offers a traditional menu and undeniably fresh fish, with the off-menu offerings being a nice surprise. The dishes are well-cooked with top-quality ingredients, with minimal frills and plenty of substance. The portions are truly generous. Special mention goes to the owner, who impeccably handled the only downside of the dinner (an increasingly rare and highly appreciated experience). Definitely a recommended restaurant.

03/06/2026: A small trattoria/osteria that, under new ownership and management (about a year and a half ago), has become more touristy and less value-for-money. The first courses were good (despite the small portions), except for the unforgivable presence of cream in the seafood scucuzzi. The fried squid was only decent: crispy and dry, but the smell of the frying oil was "heavy." Note the lack of vegetables (zucchini, carrots) and other fish/shellfish (sardines, scampi), especially considering the price (€16).
The tiramisu (ladyfingers well-soaked in coffee) was good, despite the mascarpone cream being thin and lacking in egg. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was very friendly.
31/05/2026: In all honesty, we didn't eat very well, and now I'll explain why.
As you know, my reviews always try to be constructive for the owners, hoping that the inconveniences I encounter as a customer can be interpreted as a criticism for improvement.
I had a seafood first course, my wife had tagliatella with shrimp and bisque, and a mixed fried fish main course.
Well, the seafood was nothing short of spectacular, an explosion of flavor that I almost struggle to remember such a good dish. Compliments to the chef, 10 out of 10, fully deserved.
My wife's dish, in my opinion, was a poorly executed dish, a disjointed one. The tagliatella (delicious), however, had no other flavor beyond that. You can taste the egg, the softness of the fresh tagliatella, but you can't taste the three main ingredients together. The large-cut shrimp are lost, and the bisque is good, but the tagliatella should be cooked completely inside it, otherwise it becomes just a broth to mop up and nothing else. Three completely separate flavors that couldn't be combined in a single bite. In my opinion, this dish needs a complete overhaul. I don't recommend it.
I'm sorry to say that the fried food arrived completely dry. The squid pieces fell apart in our hands, and we had to digest it for hours. I saw other decidedly inviting dishes pass by, such as the caponmagro, which apparently seemed impeccably prepared, and other dishes. That's why I'm limiting myself to giving our guests a 3-star rating, also based on the kindness of the staff, the attentive service, and the splendid location of the restaurant. I'll definitely be back, hoping to find the opportunity to add the missing two stars.

There are places that don't just serve food, but that open like homes, and people who aren't just restaurateurs, but custodians of an age-old hospitality. A heartfelt thanks goes to Graziano, who opened the doors to his world with rare generosity, making me feel part of something real from the first moment.
Lunch at this table was a journey that went far beyond the palate. At my side, the company of the handsome Alberto, the charismatic Paolo, and the technical wisdom of the tennis master transformed a simple meal into a meeting of souls.
Between a plate of excellent local cuisine and glasses of wine that spoke of the region, we breathed the true air of Liguria. I'm not just talking about the landscape, but about that essence made of sincere tones, typical expressions, and, above all, those "unsaid" things that go straight to the heart and touch deep chords. It was a symphony of humanity and tradition that made this lunch an experience to treasure.
Thank you for giving me not only an unforgettable meal, but a slice of authentic life.

04/11/2025: Everything is as it once was, many, many years ago, but perhaps a little more light would be needed, friendly Ligurian-style management, I would say that the portions, being a trattoria, might not be worthy of a starred restaurant.... It wouldn't go to waste, we really ate very little for a village trattoria and paid like a restaurant at lunchtime, the price for a first course, second course without side dish sweet and bitter (offered) and a bottle of Oltrepo Pavese wine is €30 per person. Anyway, I recommend it.

Spectacular views of the valley await you, as you savor flavorful dishes and time-honored recipes, such as appetizers with cured meats, vegetable pies, and other delicacies. Hand-crafted first courses include ravioli with ragù and pansoti with walnut sauce, followed by tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, lasagnette, or trofie with pesto. For main courses, the house specialty is a rich Italian-style fritto misto, enough to feed two. Meat lovers will appreciate Piedmontese Fassona tartare, roast beef with herbs, veal with tuna sauce, Ligurian-style rabbit with olives, battered cod with panissette, fried focaccia filled with cheese, fried porcini mushrooms, and more.
