19/04/2026: The menu is varied, with gluten-free options as well. Antonella and the entire staff were very attentive to my needs, recommending the best dishes. We tried: farinata with mussels, a real treat, highly recommended; trofie with pesto, an evergreen; and panigacci (gluten-free), a delicious discovery! We also recommend their shop: Gli Orti di Porto Venere, with many artisanal products.

20/10/2025: It's become my new favorite pizzeria! The pizzas are really good; I've never felt heavy or thirsty overnight. They have a variety of flavors, many of which are truly unique. I've been ordering here for a few years now, and the quality of the pizzas hasn't changed. The pizza ordering service is also truly excellent; they're always friendly, and the pizzas always arrive on time (sometimes even early), and compared to many other pizzerias, the wait times are truly minimal. I now recommend them to everyone. My compliments!

19/03/2026: Never to return. Too expensive for what we consumed. Two main courses and two side dishes, water, wine—much more than we would have spent in Milan and Lombardy. Perhaps all restaurants, taverns, etc., are like this in Liguria.

19/03/2026: Found it by chance, passing by. The fixed-price menu is also excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity. Friendly staff, elegant setting. Of course, Spotorno is in Western Liguria, and I'm specifying this because, 24 hours earlier, I was in Eastern Liguria (Nervi area) and had lunch, at the same time, in a place with a more modest setting but with a bill more than double, for a smaller quantity of food and lower quality, as well as fairly indifferent staff!!

29/04/2026: Finally, a typical trattoria...and I say this as a Genoese. Excellent, authentic food at fair prices, served by kind and helpful staff. It's a shame it's in a quiet area away from the seafront, and from the outside, it doesn't really entice you to go in. The interior is informal, with wooden tables and stools, as a true trattoria SHOULD be...so, to all you pesky eaters, if you want glitz or a sea view, just walk 200 meters and you'll find everything you need, but watch out for the suppository.

23/08/2025: A truly welcoming establishment, with a very friendly owner who explained the various amenities in the area to us. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was very generous for a 2-star hotel. Excellent parking, and there's even a spare one (in case the first one is full). The hotel itself also has a bar with a tobacconist and a ticket office for the bus that takes you down to Framura and various nearby places. There's also an excellent restaurant below the hotel with divine food. We'll be back.

09/05/2026: A dinner in the beautiful village of Sori. We had a lovely dinner, the food was excellent, with generous spaghetti with clams (the only flaw, in my opinion, was a bit too much oil), Ligurian-style sea bream, and a mixed fried fish dish. I'd recommend it to everyone, both good and bad. ☺️

05/04/2026: We were really hoping for something different, in terms of quality and service. Actually, nothing special about anything we tried: the octopus carpaccio was so thin it was hard to even understand the flavor, the squid au gratin was very limited (good, but frozen), and the trofie with squid ink and fish ragù was absolutely not good. Not a single piece of fish, it was very dry: just black. The least pleasant thing was that they seemed to be doing you a favor by having you sit down, which they didn't particularly appreciate. €114 written down on a piece of paper for two adults and a child.

12/04/2026: Today I went to Jolanda's for the second time, fresh off the excellent debut the previous time, and I started with high expectations. But the "don't order the same dishes" rule unfortunately took hold here too! Since we both ordered pesto lasagna (there were two of us), we found ourselves with a smaller portion than the previous time, when there was only one order of the same dish! Even worse was the Italian-style fried food, which I initially ordered for one person, but I added the second course after finishing the first course. Result: one portion arrived, and a little bit of it, which they passed off as two! A few moments later, a double fried food arrived at the next table. If I had already noticed, comparing it with the other people's dishes confirmed every faint doubt I had... they weren't two portions!!! That said, both courses were good, the pesto was excellent, but they still left a bitter taste in my mouth. Grand finale: when the waitress asked if everything was okay, I stated no, that the food was excellent, but the portions weren't as good as the previous time. Hearing this, the waitress told me she was going to pass on my criticism. I went to pay and it was the same waitress listing the dishes I'd ordered to the owner of the place. I thought to myself...now he'll give me a little discount, or better yet, let the owner know about my criticism...not at all...she simply listed what we'd ordered: two starters (poor), two main courses that were one and a little piece, and a bottle of water, no wine, no dessert, no coffee! At this point, the owner looked at us and told us 58 euros, and when I was about to pay, he told me 57!!!! Sometimes it takes very little to avoid a situation, but many times you don't get there!

05/04/2026: Well, the mandilli are truly top-notch, but the Ligurian-style rabbit really moved me. It's a trattoria, but in the best possible way. Few dishes, but well-structured and with satisfying portions. Recommended for understanding the qualities of a trattoria that captures the history of the Ligurian Apennines.

22/04/2026: Everything was standard fare, with no particular merits. I would have been satisfied (except for the rubbery grilled calamari), the fried food was good, as were the trofie and the off-menu items (brandacujun, cod prepared but not specified how). The inconvenience came at the end, when the bill to be split between two couples came with only the receipt for the two partial/total amounts. I remind you that it is required by law (and especially since 2020 with electronic receipts) to have the price of each item itemized. So you can verify the accuracy and transparency of what you've taken! Generally, I wouldn't recommend it because of this "I'll rip you off whenever I want" attitude. Response to the owner: It's not that I expect to be ripped off... It's simply the law. You have to detail the drinks. (full stop) When I asked for a rebill, the gentleman did it on a piece of paper... asking the waiter for the price of the dish of the day... if that's not a price per kilo and a sloppiness... you'll see! I'm not a keyboard warrior in the slightest, because I pointed out the things I wrote here privately to the gentleman at the cash register. (full stop) And rest assured, I won't be coming back! I certainly don't need your advice. If, instead of growing, you respond negatively to all the reviews... that speaks volumes about the professionalism of your establishment and its employees. I worked in 4-star hotels for 15 years and learned that the customer is always right, something you'll surely never understand given your know-it-all attitude... have a good life, and remember to punch in your receipts correctly.

17/04/2026: We appreciated this osteria for the quality and refinement of its dishes, which were very much in keeping with the region. The layout of the different dining rooms is lovely, and the decor is tasteful. The service was reserved and distant. A shame, otherwise we would have given it five stars. Very good value for money.

03/08/2025: Pochi tavoli all'aperto; qualcuno in più all'interno. Solida cucina locale. Prezzi decisamente contenuti, per la qualità proposta. Molti avventori del luogo (ottimo segno!). Il titolare e i Collaboratori vi offriranno un servizio corretto e sollecito.

03/05/2026: After ordering at 9:30 PM, we waited an hour and a half and received nothing. Out of politeness, we weren't even offered an appetizer while we waited, and the bread basket arrived empty, with only packaged breadsticks. We left the table at 11:00 PM without having eaten anything and left. A terrible experience, not recommended.
