Located just outside Reggio Emilia. Tagliatelle with ragù and homemade tortelli are superb!! The cured meats, gnocco fritto, and grilled meats are excellent.

The fried gnocco and tigelle with quality cured meats are very good. Various types of tortelli, risotto, and tagliatelle are delicious. The main courses are also good. They also make homemade cakes.

Doppio Litro is an osteria that has retained a very characteristic old-world style, with antique furniture and well-maintained walls.
Spacious, both inside and out, with two dining rooms and a summer terrace.
The menu is dictated by voice, featuring traditional dishes, delicious tigelle and tortelli, and exquisite homemade cakes.
They also have a wide selection of meat dishes, all at reasonable prices.

The gnocchi and tigelle are good, and the cured meats and cheeses are adequate for the portions. The tortelli are lightly seasoned and flavorless, and there's no dessert selection, only a selection of dry cakes. The service could be improved. Overall, it's gotten worse than it used to be.

Always a great place to meet up with friends, enjoy a glass of wine, and enjoy tigelle, fried gnocco, and cured meats. I recommend trying at least one of the three different types of tortelli, each one better than the last. The location is truly family-friendly and welcoming, with plenty of convenient parking. Knowledgeable, professional staff.
