02/07/2026: Lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, just a short walk from la piazza maggiore. The staff is very friendly, especially Zoe. The food was great. It’s fresh and delicious. I had the bolagnese lasagna which I highly recommend. High quality and authentic.

11/08/2026: Such a quaint and charming resteraunt. You definitely need a reservation unless you are by yourself, as there is not much seating, which makes it that much more charming. The food was great and offered such a authentic Bologna experience. It was such a cozy environment to eat and drink for dinner.

08/08/2026: We had the best food of our visit to Bologna here. This is a lovely, small, family-run restaurant serving delicious, traditional Italian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, and the friendly hosts made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It felt authentic, relaxed and exactly the kind of place you hope to discover when visiting Italy. If you’re visiting Bologna, I would highly recommend making this restaurant part of your trip. A fantastic dining experience and a well-deserved 5 stars!

And for those who want traditional Bolognese cuisine, they have an equally wide variety of dishes. A family atmosphere, with young, professional, and friendly staff. Great people. And last but not least, Elena's homemade desserts. Truly delicious. If you want to eat well and feel at home, this is the place.

15/08/2026: After eating at various trattorias in Italy for a week, I have to say this one is number one. It has a family atmosphere, a beautiful restaurant, and impeccable service. The food was spectacular. The charcuterie board with friggione was a delight, all the pasta was freshly made and cooked to perfection—the lasagna was so good, the tagliatelle with prosciutto was perfect, the gromigna in sausage was delicious, the strezapeti picanti were amazing, and the desserts were incredible. The panna cotta was the best I've ever had; they told us it takes two days to prepare. The mascarpone was simply divine. We went for dinner twice and couldn't wait to go back. Congratulations on making us so happy with your dishes. Perfect value for money, averaging €30 per person.

13/08/2026: 10,000 out of 10, a truly authentic trattoria in every sense. The place is relatively small, with few tables, but the food is the most important thing. The pasta is amazing, perfectly al dente, with delicious flavors, generous portions, and a good price. The homemade panna cotta, which the very friendly owner explained takes two days to make, is what makes it so special. I can't say a bad word about it. The real Italy! 🇮🇹

09/08/2026: Sfoglia Rina in Casalecchio is a branch of the most famous restaurant in central Bologna. You can buy fresh pasta and other products and eat on-site. The restaurant has a slightly industrial feel. You order by writing down what you want to eat directly on a piece of paper. Everything is homemade, including bread. The original formula includes one dish, cover charge, bread, water, and one side. The fresh pasta dishes are delicious. There were four of us, and we each tried a different dish (tortellini, lasagna, and gramigna). Everything was delicious. The service wasn't the fastest. Highly recommended

02/08/2026: Everything was perfect, delicious pasta, very friendly and unobtrusive service. The moka pot coffee was truly wonderful! We also bought some tortellini and tagliatelle, which were truly superb!

13/06/2026: The dishes are exquisite, from the welcome appetizer to the desserts: the textbook zuppa inglese and the sublime cherry and cream tart. A special mention goes to the lemon meatball tortellini filling, truly excellent! The service is kind and attentive.

07/08/2026: Wow I was really upset having to write this review. As one of the higher rated restaurants in bologna I thought I may have stumbled across a real gem, but unfortunately I had the following let downs: 1st course: Lasagne - This was nice and fresh, creamy, very tasty and quite nice. If I just had this, I would of given it a 5 star review. Ragu - This Lacked flavour a little and what really let it down was that the pasta was under done, just a little too hard where you notice its just not as nice to eat as it could of been. Now this is where I feel like it was a disaster, ive got a pretty strong stomach but I felt sick even smelling and tasting the main. The beef with mushroom sauce - It came out essentially blue, cooked in the mushroom sauce not seared just boiled in sauce. The mushrooms had a very very strong pungent after taste that was not pleasant and I usually love mushrooms, so I'm not sure what was going on here. We asked the waitresses if the beef should be this raw and she said it should be medium. Unfortunately it was not. It was taken back to the kitchen to make it medium. When it came back it smelt even more like boiled meat, I had a bite and it honestly made me feel sick. My partner finished the dish out of obligation but we definitely won't be back. 25 euros for a steak and sauce, was such a disappointment.
