29/08/2025: While passing through Bologna, I stopped at this place, which made me feel at home: the staff was kind, helpful, and professional. The risotto with parmesan and truffle was remarkable. Congratulations again to the entire staff.

26/08/2025: Discovered today on the recommendation of our hotel. Excellent restaurant in the old town, a little off the beaten track. Authentic local dishes. The cotoletta a la bolognese and the beef fillet with balsamic vinegar, arugula, and Parmesan are delicious. The wine by the glass is a Sangiovese, very good value for money. Good panna cotta for dessert. Very warm welcome, highly recommended.

04/10/2025: Incredible experience! A little gem located in the heart of the Monteveglio Abbey village. The atmosphere is intimate and familiar, the staff is friendly and kind, and the food is incredibly delicious. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

28/09/2025: A trattoria in the heart of a village that feels like stepping into a fairytale. I'd like to start by praising the staff: attentive, welcoming, and warm with the customers. It almost feels like lunch at a friend's house. The food is excellent, from the raw ingredients to the most complex dishes. One of the things that really impressed me was the attention to detail in the plating.

29/09/2025: I can't say anything other than "thank goodness I tried/found this restaurant." The service was excellent. The waiter was extremely kind and gave us great suggestions on what to choose. From the bread to the coffee, everything was top-quality with extraordinary flavors—and all at a very fair price! They seated us in the little garden, where the atmosphere was extraordinary—and even brought us blankets! We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

24/08/2025: After a morning spent exploring Marzabotto after a trip from Rimini, we had an excellent Sunday lunch at a farmhouse with a family atmosphere and truly well-prepared traditional food. Great prices, great quantities, and good quality. Our little four-legged friend was also welcomed. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: The restaurant was quite good, but not excellent. The welcome was a bit cold, and the wait was long before they asked for anything. The appetizer was tigelle and crescentine, which were good but accompanied by slightly dry cured meats (ham and salami). The baked zucchini flowers... huh? It tasted like hard semolina with a little dressing on top (but not too much). The first courses were very good. The desserts were some good, some not so good.

25/09/2025: Absolutely amazing. Easily one of the most flavourful meals of our week in Italy. The tortelloni looked so simple but the flavour was incredible. Lasagna Verde was rich with flavour. I ate so slowly not wanting the meal to end. The strawberry marscapone was a delightful finish. Host staff was very sweet.

01/10/2025: The cotoletta alla bolognese at Trattoria Amedeo is iconic, a must-try in Bologna. A simple, no-frills trattoria that recreates authentic, traditional flavors. The cotoletta is immense, and the side dishes are perfect. The potatoes and broccoli are top-notch, only the chicory is a bit subdued. A highly recommended place.

04/10/2025: If you want to try delicious, homemade food, you absolutely must visit this place. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. The service is very friendly. The atmosphere of this place makes you feel like you're staying with your Italian mother. We had full meals, including drinks, coffee, and dessert. For seven people, we paid 110 euros.

13/09/2025: Tato & Vino is the BEST!!! Our first visit was so good that we had to go back again for more. We had their tagliatelle al ragu, the house spaghetti, meatballs, tortellini en brodo, and prosciutto-wrapped cheese. All were exquisite! The friggione is amazing: sweet, tangy and wonderful, and the torte Della nonna is magical Everything was SO delicious flavorful and beautiful! In addition the service was so very warm and welcoming, the prices were great, and Simone made us feel just like family. Of all the wonderful experiences we had in Bologna, Tato and Vino definitely topped our list. Fantastic food, welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, We LOVE this place!!!!
