The wine list offers a good selection, including mentions of lesser-known local varietals. The service is warm and attentive, explaining the origins of the ingredients and offering advice on the selection. It's the ideal restaurant for a Sunday lunch inspired by memories of grandma's cooking.

18/02/2026: Excellent experience, meticulously maintained, and beautifully crafted, the restaurant respects the building's historic character. The food is excellent, and the waitress is extremely friendly and attentive. From the dining room, you can see the kitchen, and the level of cleanliness, evident throughout the service, is truly impressive. They pay close attention to the quality of the meats. The tortellini are excellent!
13/02/2026: I lived in Italy for six years and fell in love with Bologna. I come to this restaurant with my family. The waitress ignored our eye contact and made us wait for 15 minutes. When I complained about that, she said that the other people had reservations, which is why they could order first and get food. Does that mean they ordered food when they made their reservation over the phone? Even worse, I had to wait longer to get the bill. She consistently ignored us. I think that would be considered racist.

24/01/2026: We were passing through and had the €14 fixed menu (first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee). The food was good, no-frills, and the waiters were very fast and friendly.
I'll be back if I ever get back to Bologna.

28/02/2026: First experience in this restaurant, as soon as we entered we were welcomed by the smile and the friendliness of Flavio, which gives you the idea of being among the family, few dishes on the menu (as it should be everywhere) but of a quality above average, due to the raw materials and the skill of the restaurateurs, fast service done by young and friendly staff, average price for Bologna, but I repeat of quality above the norm, Bologna area, near the train station

Everything is truly "VERY NICE." If you've never been there and are wondering why this "Very Nice" restaurant is so good, I won't tell you anything about it; you have to experience it! It truly deserves a full 5 stars, very fair prices, top-quality meat (the venison was sublime, the best I've ever had, it melts in your mouth), attentive and friendly staff, "Very Nice" is the #1, the atmosphere/location is very characteristic, it fully reflects the restaurant's name. It's a shame it's so far from my house, otherwise I'd sign up here every week 😍
09/02/2026: Everything was excellent! The service, the food, and the atmosphere! The only major problem is that they sell bottles of wine that aren't as described on the wine list! And the owner insists it's the same product, even though the vintage and alcohol content are different! For everything else, we highly recommend this place.

04/03/2026: Enchanting place, the lady who runs it is incredibly kind and elegant… Amazing food at very reasonable prices, even the house wine was incredibly good!

27/02/2026: A very small but welcoming place with excellent traditional dishes at a fair price. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes from this restaurant, which offers limited options but everything is excellent. Make sure to reserve a table as it's limited.
