I've been wanting to come to this restaurant for a long time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very familiar and pleasant, and the service is impeccable; every customer is treated as if they were unique. The food is refined, seasonal, and delicious. I hope to return soon! 💙

We are tourist from Canada, we have tried a few restaurants, salad was very good and this is the best pasta texture out of those we have tried.

We had a wonderful time! The cuisine is meticulously prepared, starting with the finest ingredients, expertly cooked and harmoniously combined. The atmosphere is peaceful and authentic, and above all, we were won over by Flavio's Bolognese charm, which, in addition to the delicious food, contributed to making our evening even more enjoyable.

We were lucky enough to get a table as someone apparently canceled a reservation very last minute. It's no exaggeration that this place is touted as possibly the best restaurant in Bologna, and locals compete to get a coveted seat. The owner and the waiter were very nice, and the service was impeccable. They have daily specials, but as it was my first time in Bologna and this restaurant, I just had to try their most highly praised dishes. The tortellini in broth was simply the best I had in Bologna. The capon broth was not salty or heavy in flavor and complemented the tortellini well. The tagliatelle al ragù Bolognese was splendid and also among the best I've had in Bologna. The firm/chewy texture of the pasta was quite delightful. The rabbit dish was done well. Of course, one cannot forget the zuppa inglese. Would definitely come back if I visit Bologna again!

Unfortunately, we couldn't eat there. It was a truly paradoxical situation: we had been calling all morning to try and make a reservation, but it was impossible; they never answered the phone. When we arrived without a reservation, they didn't have any tables available. When we told them we had tried calling, they said they weren't answering the phone, so we were left hungry and wondering how everyone else had managed to book (is it some kind of secret society?). The person who served us was very insensitive to the situation. I understand that if you don't have a reservation, you don't get a table, but she wasn't at all willing to offer us alternatives or information. I suppose they have all the customers they need and don't need to be friendly.

A truly authentic and cozy Italian restaurant, located in a residential area of ​​Bologna, away from the tourist crowds. We hadn't made a reservation, but the staff graciously agreed to seat us at the counter. It's definitely best to book in advance, as many walk-ins were turned away during our visit. The food is simple, authentic, and exceptionally delicious, with genuine Italian dishes prepared with care. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and perfectly bilingual in Italian and English, which makes communication easy. The prices are very reasonable, and the value for money is excellent. A wonderful place to discover authentic Italian cuisine in a local atmosphere.

I haven't eaten such delicious food here in a long time - there's only a short wait for a table (Friday or Saturday without a reservation, there's no chance). The local Sangiovese wine complements the very tasty dishes well - in addition to the menu, there's a daily dish and dessert - I recommend it.
