One of the best restaurants in Bologna, reservations are a must, or you need to queue up in advance, as it seems that only the four seats at the bar are available for walk-ins.

It is Michelin recommended and we were expecting a lovely meal…it surpassed our expectations. The staff provided a comprehensive description of each dish and service was faultless. Each course was delicious, flavoursome and perfectly executed. Fabulous experience and would highly recommend…but make sure you book a table.

One of the most renowned trattorias in the Bologna area (it boasts numerous awards: Michelin, Slow Food, Osterie d'Italia, Gambero Rosso, etc.). The restaurant isn't very large and is divided into small rooms (reserve early, please!) furnished in a very simple yet elegant style. As for the food, it's excellent: every dish is prepared with care, great skill, and a lot of love. The staff is very professional and friendly (we were served by a truly delightful young woman with braids). I also really appreciated that the owner—at my urging—told us the story (especially culinary) of a Bologna that no longer exists, depicted in some (beautiful!) photos hanging on the wall. Finally, the display of the LGBTQIA+ flag above the entrance door is commendable. P.S.: You wouldn't think of leaving without trying the world's best zuppa inglese, would you?

Finally, a trattoria where you won't be disappointed by touristy or pretentious cuisine. Extremely flavorful dishes, where even the eye is taken care of. Carefully selected ingredients, an affordable wine list of rare quality. Every time I pass through Bologna, I'll be back here.

Always a great trattoria. Traditional dishes, but always very tasty. Finally, a "house wine" where you can find out about the cellar and the wines they serve. The owner is always very kind and helpful. My compliments!

The owner is charming, the service is very friendly, and the food is good and authentic. I recommend tortellini and tortelloni. I'm from Modena, so you won't find crescentine (or fried gnocco), but you will find tigelle.

One of the best places in Bologna and possible Italy. This trattoria has amazing food with very nice staff and a nice and cozy atmosphere. Pasta is extremely well executed but what blew our minds was the mushroom stater. If you’re visiting Bologna I would definitely recommend

We arrived without a reservation and were lucky enough to get two spots at the high table on the left because it was full. Reservations are definitely recommended. We had pasta and it was spectacular!

Wow - bravissimo!! Managed to get a walk in table. Lunch service was managed by a lovely guy who was run off his feet and had to turn loads of other people away bless him, but still took the time to be personable. Thank you for the little moment, it made my day!
The food was gorgeous, made with love and care and skill. Excellent texture on the tagliatelle, tasty ragu (I would prefer more pepper but I got an eyebrow from the waitress so let that go…). The potatoes and sauce that came with the rabbit 😘👌🏼lovely sourdough bread, a proper sized glass of wine 💪🏼
