17/08/2025: What can I say? I don't think there are any standards or conditions that justify this place's praise. The place is also nice, although it's located on a "dull" and hidden side street, thus not very central. So even the tables in the outdoor garden don't have particularly satisfying views, other than that of a ramshackle church built according to the principles of modern architecture. But getting to the point, it's the quality that really left a bad taste in my mouth: arrosticini that were cheap, but really worthless: stringy pieces of sinew and generally tough. They cost less, it's true, but they're worth less. As for the rest, the prices for the other dishes are insane: two sausages for €12. The pizzas are priced at around €10/€12 in central Milan, a simple Margherita is €8, but the most disconcerting and unsettling thing is reading the price of Coca-Cola: a 1-litre bottle of Coca-Cola costs €8. These are prices almost like those of a Bulgari Hotel (a world-famous five-star luxury hotel in the world's most glamorous cities). Charging eight euros for a bottle of Coca-Cola in such an anonymous place is, I believe, a truly final affront to the customer, who, as far as I'm concerned, will never return.

14/08/2025: We discovered it by chance and had a great time. Nothing special, just a few dishes but very well made. The value for money was excellent. We ate really well. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It's centrally located, very easy to find, and the air-conditioned restaurant is a must-try. Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: Excellent restaurant. Unfortunately, we only managed to go once in our four days in Loreto Aprutino; the second time, we booked late and couldn't get a table. Excellent food and excellent service, all young and helpful. The house mixed antipasti are a real surprise; I highly recommend trying them, a mix of traditional flavors and very generous. The first courses were good; we didn't physically make it to the second courses, but the aromas coming from the grill spoke for themselves. I highly recommend it, and I also recommend booking ahead.

30/07/2025: This review is for the kiosk located in the Villa Angeletti Park. And nothing... I still haven't learned that when you see almost no one in a place, there must be a good reason... Especially because last night the tables around the kiosks were teeming with people, thanks to the beautiful evening. Passing by the restaurant on Via Pietralata, I had always promised myself I'd go there someday. So I took advantage of the opportunity to sample Abruzzo cuisine in the "summer" location. The experience turned out to be a mockery of those epochal ones, one to never forget so as not to repeat the same mistakes. Paying 24 euros for two and leaving hungrier than when you arrived at the threshold of your sixties—that's the first time I've ever experienced this. We ordered the dishes listed on the attached receipt. Well, we were told that the pallotte are vegetarian meatballs (therefore meatless) and that the foje are chicory with a corn-based pizza. The two employees limit themselves, one to preparing the "dishes" and the other to taking orders and collecting them 🤑 (talking nonsense). The customers do the rest: collect the order after an indefinite time, bring the dishes to the table, and finally dispose of the inedible portion in the recycling bins. And that's fine, if the prices were reasonable, especially considering the good quality of the food and the ingredients... But can we talk about the quantities? There are 4 pallotte, and each one is eaten in one bite. So, each one, inserted into the mouth, is worth €2.50. The chicory pizza consists of corn flour mixed with the same vegetables, served in a small cardboard container that fits halfway into the palm of a hand. And since my wife and I split the dishes we ordered in half, we each got a forkful of leaves 😂 (laughing so as not to cry) Moral: 1. Afterwards we went to dinner; 2. Next time we go to the garden, we'll bring our own food, like most of the users of this splendid urban park do. Yes, just the food, because drinks (of good quality) can be purchased at the kiosk next door, at reasonable prices. Goodbye, Orsetto d'Abruzzo. See you never again! 👋

28/06/2025: Eating fish at Cacciatore may seem like a contradiction in terms, but it pleasantly surprised us. Rich and delicious menu. Keep it up.

27/08/2025: I don't like giving bad reviews. What you serve is good, but the prices are really excessive. Furthermore, charging 20 euros for two children for two pasta dishes is really unfair.

22/08/2025: On our way back on August 15th, we decided to stop by Guerrinuccio for dinner without a reservation; they seated us. We had a mixed antipasto (without pork) with beef and truffle carpaccio, cheese, and vegetables, a truly excellent wild boar pappardelle, and a grilled steak cooked to perfection, medium rare. Everything was excellent, and the prices were average. Every time we come back, it's a regular stop for us! Always excellent!

22/08/2025: An hour and a half to wait for two pizzas. They served a table of 15 people who arrived after us. Instead of apologizing, the owner was rude and told us never to come back. Which we will.

01/08/2025: The restaurant is located on Chieti's main street, easily accessible by car. I stumbled upon it by chance while looking for a place to enjoy local cuisine, and I must say I hit the nail on the head: the quality of the ingredients served and the service were truly captivating. I recommend trying it to anyone passing through the city, as well as anyone staying within 30-40 km. It's worth it! And last but not least, the price is fair.

16/08/2025: Annoyed, rude, and unwilling to do this job. The customer must be respected; they're bringing you food!! You can't be rude when asked to create a menu for an occasion!! Like, "This is the menu!" Decide and do the math!!! Oh well!

24/08/2025: Biblical wait times just to order despite the restaurant not being full, first courses disjointed and of poor quality (the pappardella with wild boar had small bones and the tagliatella alla boscaiola had mushrooms that were certainly not fresh), meat deliberately served rare even though I hadn't asked for it that way, and tasteless.

17/08/2025: If you find yourself in Abruzzo, this is a 'must visit' place. Without doubt one of my favourite restaurants in the world, we have been returning here for nearly two decades. Easy to miss, impossible to forget. Antipasti is an experience in itself, a true sample of Abruzzi cuisine. Pasta is light and delicious. The steak and arrostacini are unforgettable. Wine is reasonably priced given the exceptional quality. Service is friendly and the views of the mountains will take your breath away

26/08/2025: Restaurant in a beautiful old building with a super relaxing view. The staff who served us were friendly, as was the chef's presence. Dishes were beautifully presented, the ingredients excellent, and the prices reasonable for this type of restaurant.

26/08/2025: This Abruzzo restaurant in the Pescara hills was a wonderful surprise. In a tastefully decorated, family-style atmosphere, we dined on a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the Pescara hills. We were thoroughly satisfied with the small, tasty appetizers, followed by a delicious chitarra in bianco (a type of pasta) with sheep's milk ricotta, saffron, and crispy guanciale (bacon bacon). Potato ravioli with herbs and two perfectly cooked meat main courses with side dishes were also delicious. The desserts were also excellent. The service was very kind and attentive. The bill was also very fair. I hope to return soon with more friends. Traditional Abruzzo cuisine presented with class and simplicity. Congratulations!

02/08/2025: Prendiamo grilgliata di arrosticini. Tutto secco e stopposo. A parte le bombette, ma solo perché rilasciano per via del grasso che avvolge il tutto, Arrosticini che chiamarli così , in Abruzzo, si metterebbero a ridere. Tavolo completamente invaso dalle vespe, al momento del conto faccio presente il fatto che una cena si è trasformata in una battaglia con insetti. Alchè il cassiere con aria sogghignante mi dice che non sono insetti o api, ma vespe. Come se fossero l'attrazione del locale. Va bene così. Provato, croce sopra...!!

15/07/2025: Pranzo con famiglia (9 persone piu' cagnolino). tutto molto buono, personale gentilissimo e location carica. Abbiamo provato, questa volta, a mangiare fuori sotto un pergolato ricoperto di viti, purtroppo pero' c'erano diversi buchi nella copertura e' filtrava troppo solo, forse si potrebbe ripensare la copertura per avere un ambiente idoneo anche con il sole pieno dell'ora di pranzo. come detto pero' tutto molto buono, anche il personale e la location, nonostante la mia considerazione. L'interno bello, e si sta sicuramente piu' freschi.

29/06/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance and it was a nice discovery… kindness and typical Abruzzo cuisine are the protagonists of this experience.. I strongly recommend it even if you have to travel a few km!!!

19/06/2025: Maximum kindness, abundant and quality dishes. The fried pizza is superlative as is the ricotta. Traditional appetizers, excellent roast. We have not tried the first courses and we will not miss them next time.
