03/02/2026: The place was too noisy, two people couldn't talk. Not enough staff, too rushed! The food?! Nothing special. We were tempted to leave. What can I say?! We spent a day sitting at the table waiting. We definitely won't be back.
03/02/2026: I had given 3 stars for lunch on Viale Bovio. Today, we had lunch on the seafront. I'm giving it 1 star...because:
We entered the restaurant at 1:00 PM, having parked on the seafront with Easy Park and therefore with timetables under control. Unfortunately, the wait was excessive: after about an hour, the appetizer of "scaricall" for 1 person and mussels arrived. Meanwhile, the other two diners had to wait even longer for the sautéed mussels; to "make up for it," they brought us four bruschettas with sausage, which, however, I don't eat.
The sautéed mussels, when it finally arrived, were decent, "good," but nothing memorable. Next, we ordered spaghetti with clams: lots of garlic, not enough clams, and overall, a dish without any particular merits. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but the wait was too long. I go out to enjoy myself, not to spend hours waiting at a table, where conversation was even difficult due to the chaos.
During lunch, we were constantly disturbed by the rose vendors. The staff, visibly under pressure and always in a rush, were inattentive to customer needs: requests had to be repeated multiple times. The atmosphere suffered significantly.
At the cashier, we were offered a discount, a gesture I appreciated, but when checking the bill (even having the menus online), it wasn't clear how they arrived at that amount. With the discount, we paid the correct price as per the menu.
In conclusion: a disappointing lunch, excessive wait times, and chaotic organization. We won't be returning; it's a shame. I'm sorry.

25/02/2026: I recommended this historic Caffè to friends who were visiting Torino for a weekend. Of course I was expecting prices to be on the high end, but they were charged 8 euros for a double espresso and 4 for a single. As an Italian, I was ashamed. Visitors should never be charged this much for a coffee anywhere in Italy. Definitely stay away from this place.

08/12/2025: They left us without food on December 8th, my mother's birthday, with a menu pre-arranged the week before.
Everyone in the dining room was eating; we waited from 1:15 PM until 2:40 PM. The only dish they brought us was a paltry appetizer for two people to be shared by five, while the others were served larger and more varied entrees. Naturally, we complained to the waiter, who gave us a rude response. We got up and left.

27/07/2025: Esperienza terribile. Siamo stati in questo ristorante su consiglio di amici. Cucina turistica e trattamento becero.
Quando è arrivata la carne, nell'immediato il tagliere si è riempito di mosche. La carne era dura, di pessima qualità e bruciata.
Da evitare.

19/07/2025: Dopo una lunga passeggiata, di ritorno dal castello ci fermiamo qui per cenare. La carne arrosto alla brace è molto buona così come i contorni di verdure grigliate. Buonissimi i dolci. La ragazza che ci serve è carinissima e gentile. Prezzi poco poco alti ma ci sta perché c’è la buona qualità del prodotto.
11/07/2025: Poca attenzione agli ospiti, le luci non vengono completamente accese, per cui mangi in penombra senza vedere bene la pietanza. La porta della cucina rimane sempre aperta per cui i fumi della carni sono tutti in sala! Il vino rosé è imbevibile! Cibo nella media, prezzi un pochino sopra.

21/07/2025: Es un hallazgo increíble. Excelente comida elaborada con ingredientes locales. Cada plato es único y cuidadosamente preparado. El restaurante es precioso y la terraza tiene una vista magnífica. Todo ello en un pueblo medieval restaurado. Agregue a este servicio atento, sofisticado pero amigable y estará lo más cerca posible de una experiencia gastronómica perfecta y se encontrará en cualquier lugar. Un verdadero descubrimiento. Fantastic.
20/07/2025: Locale non adatto agli abruzzesi menu’ povero è il cameriere ha tolto due portate ai primi due ai secondi eccetera capite che se l’ospite si siede e su un menu di 10 portate ne tolgono 4 di cui rimane il baccalà formaggio arrostito e lasci come carne un tacchino porchettato riscaldato e male odorante lo abbiamo lasciato nel piatto e’uno specchietto per le allodole per turisti ripeto gli abruzzesi non DEVONO entrare non esiste la carne alla griglia mi sembra una presa per il ……. Cambiate mestiere
