20/03/2025: We chose this restaurant, appreciating it for its genuine cuisine since the times when the owner ran it in Torano Nuovo, now in Sant'Omero. We like it for its simple cuisine, inspired by the Abruzzo tradition, which offers local delicacies without frills, with particular attention to the well-being of the diner (we are what we eat). The seasonings and salt are dosed with balance. We find it ideal for a lunch break during work, thanks to freshly prepared dishes and a friendly environment, perfect for breaking up the daily routine. The combination of traditional dishes and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a point of reference to try, with modest prices that allow even daily attendance. We highly recommend this restaurant and applause goes to the "master" who keeps us healthy, maintaining a varied and delicious cuisine. Thanks so much! Oh, I forgot! They also make spectacular gripper!

17/03/2025: Following Di Stefano's review, which is usually a guarantee, I stopped for lunch with my husband. I would have liked to order grilled lamb but not available, not even chicken with potatoes, I was offered grilled turkey breast but then clearly cooked in a pan and to show that it was grilled, small pieces of charcoal were placed on it; Too bad they also ended up on top of the side cabbage in the same dish. My husband chose the postiglione's guitar, a plentiful and expertly served dish, a pity that the pasta didn't have much connection to the sauce. We ordered sparkling water but the bottle, used several times because it was probably filled from a dispenser, on the outside I don't think had been washed since the postillions. The bill included €15 for turkey breast and cabbage, €14 for guitar with ricotta and sausage ragù, a sparkling water, two coffees and €5 for two place settings. Total €38 discounted to €35. For €2.50 per person, I expect at least a fabric tablecloth and a coffee spoon instead of a disposable stirrer... and maybe a properly sanitized bottle after each use. Almost empty place so served without any rush. Given the many positive reviews, perhaps we simply didn't choose the right day... too bad.

The dishes offered are excellent and mainly local. Good wine cellar. The service is quite fast, the staff is very professional, kind and helpful. The price is absolutely average. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Bassano del Grappa.

Exquisite and welcoming environment consistent with the atmosphere of a charming village like Ovindoli. We tasted a duck speck on crostini, a smoked burratina flambéed at the table, a venison fillet with red fruits and a venison fillet with green pepper, perfectly impacted and balanced in flavors. To finish two delicious desserts, a millefeuille with mascarpone cream and a chocolate cake with gentian ice cream: all exquisite.
