The meats were cooked perfectly. Great value for money, everything was perfectly fine. I heartily recommend it to everyone! A tip: reservations are definitely necessary in advance, because the place fills up completely in the evening.

02/05/2026: Typical Abruzzo cuisine, authentic and truly homemade, just the way I like it. The menu is extensive and offers a wide selection of dishes. The staff is extremely kind and always available, as are the owners, who immediately made us feel at ease. We were traveling with three little girls, and despite a bit of confusion, they were extremely understanding and sweet with them—a kindness that truly makes a difference. The quality-price ratio is also excellent: finding side dishes for €3 is rare these days! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

02/04/2026: Overall, a decent experience, but with a few things to look at. The bread arrived practically at the end of the meal. I found the arrosticini to be rather bland and a bit undercooked, verging on rare; the same goes for the meat. I understand that some people prefer a lightly salted meal, but in that case, salt should be brought to the table. The owner (I think it was him) tried to crack a few jokes, but honestly, he wasn't particularly friendly.

23/07/2026: The restaurant is divided into two parts. The part that serves only Abruzzo specialties, including arrosticini, bruschetta, and so on, is excellent and I frequent it often. The last time my partner and I wanted to try the pizzeria. We were a bit disappointed; the pizza was served burnt. Even though the pizza chef saw it was burnt, he still had it delivered. The waiter was excellent and able to resolve the issue. The service was a bit unprepared and inattentive, but you could still see the effort, and that's to be appreciated. Even though we were in an air-conditioned restaurant, the temperature was extremely high. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone, like me, with small children, because the heat is really unpleasant.

Their version of pallotte is even better than the original. Plus, an extraordinary friendliness permeates everything. Highly recommended! PS: Exceptional appetizers!

The dinner was delicious. I've read reviews that I'm sorry they can't respond to, but were we at the same restaurant? Anyone who speaks poorly of the food quality is probably used to McDonald's. There's nothing negative to say here, and ask for the arrosticini! They melt in your mouth. I recommend every dish I ordered. I'll definitely be back.

We begin with appetizers that seem to recount the region without haste: small, carefully selected samples, tradition, textures, memories. From the creamy gratin to the more rustic flavors, to the notes of home cooking that still knows how to speak without the need for special effects. 28/04/2026: Knowing you'll eat well and be greeted with kindness isn't always a given. Here, the combination of good quality and traditional food is perfect. Chicken livers and Ascoli olives are highly recommended.

11/07/2026: We arrived in Pescocostanzo eager to have lunch at this restaurant, given the good reviews. Unfortunately, it was already 2:20 PM, but they welcomed us warmly, as they did with other customers who arrived much later. The lady who runs the place gave us excellent advice: after offering us bruschetta with radicchio and melted cheese, we ordered two first courses. The ravioli with ricotta, gorgonzola, and pears were delicious, as were the tagliolini with cacio e pepe and truffle. Delicious! Then, to finish, we ordered dessert: a tiramisu and a tart with cream and peaches. Everything was delicious again. You definitely need to book, but we were lucky to find a table. The village of Pescocostanzo also surprised us with its characteristic beauty!

27/07/2026: There were four of us for dinner, and I recommend making a reservation. As for the food, the arrosticini (€1.10 each) and the three pizzas were truly excellent. The only disappointing aspect was the handling of the truffle tortellini: the order got lost, and our friend was left waiting and watching us eat the pizzas without his plate, which was truly unpleasant. After prompting the wait staff, the tortellini didn't arrive until the pizzas were almost finished. At the end of the meal, we tried the fruit verata (€7 each), but we weren't thrilled: it was too frozen, and for that price, we expected something more. I hope that in the future, there will be more attention to the wait staff and that desserts will be served at an appropriate temperature.
