I returned yesterday after a few years. I have nothing to say about the deliciousness of the food and the impeccable service. Everything was perfect except the price, which seemed truly exaggerated.

We come here often, even if it means traveling a few extra kilometers! The place is meticulously cared for down to the last detail, and the hospitality is top-notch. I was there yesterday for the umpteenth time, and among other things, I ate their kid Neretese-style: I was amazed by the quality of the dish; I think it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. We then finished lunch with the dessert "L'Abruzzo goloso," a creamy artisanal gelato with crumbled cantucci biscuits, all washed down with cooked wine...a masterpiece. And Tania, the hostess, is absolutely wonderful, always smiling and kind. 5 stars with honors ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Every space is designed with love, every experience has a genuine flavor: the tranquility of the countryside, the scents, the rejuvenating silence, the cuisine that speaks of the region with simplicity and quality. It's a refuge where you can truly unplug and enjoy Abruzzo in its most authentic form. I love this place, and every time I return, I find the same sensations: sincere hospitality, peace, professionalism, and a healing energy. Everything was excellent. I've been going to this charming restaurant for a year now, and every now and then I feel the pull of their fried cheese and fried porcini mushrooms, but I also enjoy the timbale, a symphony of flavors. Thank you.

Ristorante Gran Sasso

09/04/2026: Chosen on Google after a visit to Terni and for its proximity to the Sanctuary of San Gabriele (right across the street), it has a very high rating of 4.8, which I'd say is well-deserved. The restaurant is simple but well-maintained, with brand-new bathrooms, among the best-kept I've ever seen. They also have tables outside with a view of the sanctuary, but they weren't set up that day. The menu is limited, which for me is a first sign of quality. We ordered two spaghetti alla chitarra, one with ragù and veal meatballs and the other with pancetta, cauliflower, and parsley sauce, both very tasty and plentiful. The two dishes more than filled us up, so we only ordered a portion of grilled eggplant, which was delicious, and two desserts, both very good. Special mention goes to the lady who served us, an exceptionally kind woman. The price is more than fair for the overall quality. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
09/12/2025: It's perhaps the best restaurant my wife and I have ever eaten at, with fresh, top-quality ingredients. The meat surprised me most of all—it was truly buttery. Alessia (the owner) was truly friendly, welcoming, and kind. In short, it's the only restaurant I've ever spent time at, with a 4.5-hour round-trip drive, and I pay the bill with great pleasure and satisfaction. WELL-DESERVED.
