06/04/2024: I have been coming to eat at this place for a long time and it has never disappointed me! Even if this time the price was a little high (compared to usual) I must say that we ordered a lot so in the end it's okay... despite this I will definitely return because a cuisine like yours should be rewarded and recommended. See you for the kebab contest so if I win I can't complain about the price😉

03/04/2024: Very nice restaurant in the Pratello area. It feels like being at home, as soon as you enter the place immediately gives you the feeling of warmth. The typical menu and furnishings recall the atmosphere of Abruzzo (even the soap in the bathroom comes from that region). Excellent quality food, with open kitchen and barbecue. Affordable prices, friendly and approachable waiters. Truly a place to return to!

31/03/2024: The welcoming and familiar atmosphere made me feel at ease straight away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, demonstrating a real passion for their work. The cuisine is a true riot of local flavours, from fresh pasta to game dishes; everything is prepared with skill and passion. But what really struck me and my faithful four-legged friend was the friendliness towards animals. Not only are the dogs welcomed, but they are treated with respect and affection. In short, Il Guado della Valle is a place where courtesy and hospitality blend with a passion for good food and love for animals. Compliments! 🌟

30/03/2024: Questo ristorante è stato una piacevole scoperta. A partire dal personale molto giovanile e il titolare Francesco sono delle bravissime persone che si rendono a disposizione per tutto!! La.qualita del cibo è davvero ottima. Tutto fresco e genuino. Appena ritorneremo in zona di sicuro ci fermeremo a mangiare nuovamente al Guado!! Consigliatissimo!!!

05/02/2024: We visited Scanno for the day last Saturday and stopped for lunch at the Porta. We booked an hour in advance, but being February we easily found a place, in other periods I don't know because the place is really small, but for this reason it is also welcoming and I also liked the interaction that Mrs. Bice (I think she is the owner) manages to create among the various customers by describing the traditional dishes they serve. There were two of us and we had two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, a dessert, water, beer and coffee, and we spent the right amount for a meal like this (€67). The menu is daily, changes according to seasonality and serves traditional dishes, for example we had the cazzinicchi with foie and some really good spaghetti alla guitar. Advised!

01/03/2024: A passing lunch, with the desire for Abruzzo cuisine and intense flavours. Instead we found ourselves with a menu with "Milanese" vocabulary and prices, which between Bronte pistachios, lemon reductions, and rosemary focaccia at 6.50 immediately made us understand that we were not in the right place. We tried to choose typical things, like cheese and egg balls and a little guitar, but neither of the two things thrilled us. And in any case, €60 for 4 balls, a focaccia and two small portions of spaghetti alla guitar, without wine, side dishes and desserts is truly excessive. It would be in a beautiful historic center or hamlet where you can walk, with that range of dishes, let alone in a place like this. Not a place I would recommend.

I didn't try the meat this time but there is a grill that reveals high standards and the dishes we saw pass by... invite us to return. Very very satisfying indeed. Very honest price.
