Ristorante Museo In Capaccio

We found this place by chance while wandering around the center of Paestum. We ordered a pinsa split in two with prosciutto, stracciata, buffalo mozzarella, and cherry tomatoes, accompanied by a Red Bull and a citron. The pinsa was truly excellent: fragrant, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients. It's obvious it's prepared with care. Another strong point is definitely the location. Despite the 91-degree heat, we ate lunch outside in a very breezy and well-sheltered space, so comfortable without suffering from the heat. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. If you're passing through Paestum, it's definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommended!

The gelato was very good, especially the fruit flavors. We also had desserts, and they were good, although a little too sweet for our taste. Keep in mind that if you order at the counter, you can't eat at the tables outside. The staff was a little rushed and cold, but that could have been because we arrived right before closing time. Overall, I recommend it for a sweet snack.

Very delicious, fresh, crunchy tomato and authentic spaghetti and caprese. Pistacio, vanilla and lemon galato was excellent too. Very nice service.

A very pleasant experience, excellent staff, impeccable service. A well-deserved 5-star rating, thank you. I recommend this to anyone visiting Paestum. It's right in front of the entrance to the archaeological site.

Excellent ice cream, but you can find better elsewhere because this is the only place where it's easy to find. Very pleasant location

Despite being located right next to the excavations, the prices were very fair and the portions were large and delicious! The waiter was incredibly polite and friendly! Good vegetarian options!

Atmosphere: The café is across from the ruins. Beautiful view. Very peaceful location. It has outdoor seating. Service: Fast, attentive. Food: We ordered cappuccino and amarena tart. (Delicious, sweet in just the right amount, perfect with coffee.) There are more sweet and savory options as well as ice cream.
