20/10/2025: We stopped by after returning from a trip, got some traditional riccia and ate them with gusto. Coffee everywhere in Naples was top-notch. We returned before heading back and all of us got some traditional sweets and other things to take home. Friendly staff, the only flaw being the girls who were a little slow. We'll be back.
17/10/2025: Terrible experience. The gentleman at the register was very rude, he didn't even look us in the eye. After getting our receipt, we asked if we could sit down for breakfast, and he responded brusquely with, "Hey, you have to pay for the service." We asked how much it cost, and he replied in an annoyed tone, "3 euros." It would have been enough to say it politely: courtesy costs nothing.

11/09/2025: Exceptional pizza, prepared in an extremely short time. Top-quality ingredients, a wide selection of pizzas, and a decidedly excellent value. One of the few pizzerias that makes a very thin, extremely light and digestible pizza. The staff is very young and friendly, but finding parking nearby is extremely difficult. They have limited spaces for eating in, otherwise you can take it away or have it delivered. If you find yourself in Castellammare di Stabia, it's definitely worth a try.
08/09/2025: On Viale Europa, a takeout pizzeria with a display of fried foods. It has an adjacent dining room with a few tables where you can dine in. We offer traditional pizzas, baked calzones, and fried foods.
A good variety of pizzas with balanced and interesting toppings. The ortolana and classic Neapolitan calzone are excellent. The menu also includes a well-chosen bottle of Gragnano wine.
Good cooking and excellent value. Fast and friendly service.

21/06/2025: I noticed that the guys/employees work a lot of hours, every time I pass by I see these guys working inhuman hours, and from what I know they are paid absurdly little for the hours they work since my nephew worked for a period in this place for which I know perfectly well the slavery that these poor guys suffer.

29/07/2025: Excellent pastry shop, although they favor single-serving items at high prices. The baba is excellent. I would offer a wider selection of traditional Neapolitan pastries.

06/11/2025: ...MOLDY AND SHORT-QUARTERED PRODUCTS....We're giving one star because we can't give less. Horrible. We sat down for breakfast, and as soon as we sat down they asked us if we were in a hurry. Obviously, we're on vacation, so what's the rush? While she's taking our order, she answers the phone (very rude). With the place empty, we wait 20 minutes for some coffees and croissants. They finally arrived, but the picture is shocking. The cappuccinos were runny, with no foam at all, but the real problem was the lobster (coda they call it) WITH MOLD. DISGUSTING. We also had small children, you deserve a complaint, you don't joke around with these things. Run away as far as possible.
03/11/2025: This pizzeria and bar is located not far from Naples train station, with an outdoor veranda. Walking down the main street, we immediately noticed some large desserts (compared to those in my region) that looked very good. This time, appearances were not deceiving; the breakfast was delicious. Very fresh products, light desserts, and cream that wasn't sickening. The atmosphere was fairly clean, but it was run by people who I would call "strange" and quite arrogant/rude. As soon as we entered, we waited a bit to order (at the counter) even though there was no one there. The bartenders were talking to each other in a really rude way... But the best and worst part came when we were served... They made us sit down, and at the same time we were served, we were given a receipt (not a fiscal one) (let's ignore it) with the bartender/waiter demanding immediate payment... I'm speechless... Otherwise, the food seemed good, and the prices were in line... If I were to return to Naples, I might give it another chance.

21/09/2025: The place itself is nice and welcoming, but why offer 0.4% beers if they don't have glasses to serve them in? I ended up paying for a 0.4% and they served me a 0.3%, claiming they didn't have any glasses. When I pointed this out, they first ignored me and then replied that they didn't know what to say, with incredible rudeness and zero customer care.
23/05/2025: We attended a lecture by Prof Stefano Vitale, a well-known geologist and scientist. The bar is very cute and beautiful. Their service and drinks were 100%.

07/07/2025: ⚠️ Very serious experience:
We stayed at this property trusting the 4 stars declared and the images on Google and Booking, which turned out to be clearly misleading. The reality is profoundly different from what was advertised: it is an old, neglected property, with rooms that are more reminiscent of a nightclub than a hotel, and a style totally incompatible with the quality and hygiene standards expected for a hospitality facility of this category.
At the time of booking, we were told that only a "suite with hot tubs" was available. Later, reading the reviews of other guests, we discovered that this is a systematic practice, used to induce customers to accept non-transparent conditions, thus configuring deceptive commercial conduct.
We arrived at the property around midnight, with a newborn in tow. Despite having called the hotel 15 minutes before to confirm our arrival, we were given an attic room with an internal temperature above 45°C. The baby, a few months old, immediately showed clear signs of discomfort and sickness. The room, lacking adequate thermal insulation, was moldy, damp and had seriously poor hygiene conditions. Access was only via very hot stairs, totally unsuitable for those traveling with children or the elderly. The temperature makes climbing up difficult.
When we asked for an explanation, the staff stated that - following complaints from other guests who had found the rooms "too cold" - they had chosen not to turn on the air conditioning before the guests' arrival. An unacceptable, illogical and irresponsible justification from a safety and health perspective, especially considering the presence of a newborn.
It should be emphasized that the aforementioned gentleman was well accommodated at the reception, in a very cool environment. I showed up with my daughter in my arms in a sea of sweat and visibly tired by the temperature.
Only after repeated insistence were we moved to another room, which was still unsuitable: cracks in the walls, a shower in full view in the room, a clogged sink. Conditions that in no way reflect the definition of a “suite” or what was declared at the time of booking.
We tried several times to contact the owner, without ever receiving a response. Online reviews have shown that the gentleman present in the facility is used to providing contradictory, evasive or completely false answers, systematically avoiding satisfying the legitimate requests of guests, with conduct bordering on legality.
Further aggravating elements:
• We were asked for €120 over the phone for the “suite”, the only available room with a hydromassage tub that had given us hope having decided at the last minute to stop, given the tiredness, unable to continue for 4 hours by car. We were not told the price of the second room.
• When my friend asked to retrieve some personal items left in the first room, she was initially told that it was not possible because new guests were expected. Shortly after, the staff contradicted themselves, telling her to leave the keys attached to the door, implicitly admitting that no other guests were expected.
• When we asked for a room with a balcony (for reasons related to smoking), we were told that there were no alternatives available, only to be transferred to a room with a view. This room, however, was located right next to a recycling company, with strong smog smells and under an overpass, in an area not suitable for families nor compatible with what was promised online.
• There was not even a mattress cover.
• The swimming pool visible in the advertising photos does not belong to the hotel, but to an adjacent bar, where the atmosphere is made inaccessible and noisy by loud music and chaotic attendance.
10/06/2025: What can I say? The Masaniello hotel is fantastic, the staff is competent and very kind. Having arrived from an unpleasant adventure, we were welcomed super well. I booked a suite. The staff, knowing my misadventure, made me find the room already with the air conditioning on. The room was perfect, spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

12/10/2025: For those who enjoy Friday night, after a day of work and routine commitments, ordering a tempting chicken, burger, and sausage sandwich, accompanied by fries and homemade sauces, is a deeply satisfying culinary experience. The rotisserie chicken, which I tried, also proved excellent.

31/07/2025: Excellent service and quality. We've often had breakfast at Time Café in Piazza Fuga, and the products are truly naturally leavened. Today we enjoyed two fantastic lemonades. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

18/05/2025: A pleasant day among nature, cordiality and simplicity
We went to this restaurant to spend a day in the company of friends and, overall, the experience was more than positive. The quality-price ratio seemed right to us: we chose the menu for 25 euros per person for adults (15 euros for children), with drinks not included. A peculiarity is that they leave all the empty bottles on the table, to then count them at the end of the meal and include them in the final bill - so it is useful to keep this in mind.
The staff is extremely kind, especially the waitresses: helpful, polite and always smiling. Sincere compliments to them.
The location is nice and well-kept, surrounded by greenery, with many animals that make the experience more pleasant, especially for those - like me - who love nature. The aquariums, turtles and other animals in the garden are very beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the parrots, the area was closed on both occasions I went out to look for them, but I was told that at other times there was someone to accompany the customers. Never mind, it will be for next time.
The food reflects what you can expect from a fixed-price menu: nothing exceptional, but more than enough to enjoy a quiet lunch without too many pretensions. It's definitely not a place I would recommend for a gourmet or refined occasion, but perfect for spending time in company in an informal and relaxed environment.
Finally, a curious detail: to pay the bill you have to queue and then enter an office, and at the desk you find yourself discussing the bill with who I believe is the owner, so not at the classic cash register, almost as if you were about to close a ceremonial deal! We simply paid what was due, without asking for discounts, and the comparison of how much we consumed was clear and precise, a sign of correctness and attention on the part of the staff.
In short, I recommend it to those looking for a carefree day, in contact with nature and in good company, without spending too much.

08/08/2025: It is truly shameful to prepare a latte macchiato or even a caffè macchiato with heated milk, adding old coffee, already on the counter for who knows how long or how many days, to want to earn maybe a few cents more, a truly ugly scene; In practice in the morning one goes to the bar Orders a coffee thinking that it is a freshly prepared espresso and instead you go to look and it is an old coffee but they make you pay for it as new, truly disconcerting
